hi ladies here is our new thread

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
NatalieJane · 04/06/2010 15:53

Well, maybe that's a possibility then? Seems a shame to just give up on the idea, and/or for Can't to miss out.

Diege · 04/06/2010 15:58

Have just checked trains, and while I have to change at Preston not too bad time-wise. Allowing for dh to get back and me to get to station, could get to Blackpool for 12.45 ish?

NatalieJane · 04/06/2010 16:28

Will you have any of your children Diege? We'd drive through Preston to get to Blackpool, if you'd be on your own (or with only one, though it'd mean carseat etc) we've got room in the car if you want a lift from Preston? Only thing is, I am going to get DH to drop me off, so he can take the kids somewhere while I'm with you guys, so you would be in the back with the brood!

Having said all of that, if the other two end up coming out with the chickchickpox (as they have become known!), or if I do get it, doubt I'll be going anywhere by then!

Diege · 04/06/2010 16:38

Lol NAT,I wouldn't mind the brood (home from home and all that) but tbh I'm not sure how I'd manage with car seat and buggy (I'm bringing ds), although am tempted now just to come alone if you are .Oh decisions, decisions...actually liking the just me idea more than ever now, so lift may be a plan?

cantmummyhaveabreak · 04/06/2010 16:53

I can do Blackpool if you all don't mind! Awww I'm very touched at change of plan just for us! I'll have all my DC's so you both could inherit a child for the day! It was the train costs that were the bummer, nearly £30 for me and DS. Lot of money when I don't have any to spend really! Stupid fence!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 04/06/2010 17:47

DD2 has cut her 4th tooth today! No wonder she's been a grumpy bum all day and had me up half the night!

allshoppedout · 04/06/2010 20:23

essenceofSES · 05/06/2010 07:11

Just a quick one to wish tink and Star very happy birthdays!!! Hope you both have great days and get spoilt rotten

tink - sounds like a great day planned!

Cant - hope DD2 is less grumpy now her tooth is through. I often breathe a sigh of relief when the tooth is through and then it all starts all over again with the next one!

Giraffe - glad SG is feeling better!

Right sorry not to namecheck further - must head off to work. Meeting in Bognor Regis this morning!
Hope you all have lovely days

Starshinetiger · 05/06/2010 08:08

Thanks Ses - hope you enjoy your salon visit this afternoon.

Morning all. Glad SG is feeling better Giraffe.

ASO - congrats to your friend and glad she had good support round her for birth. Sounds like you have a great day planned for today.

Well, DH is still in bed (now 8.05am and I started writing this at 7.15am, so may have crossed posts with many). He did sleep badly last night and with DS waking him to retrieve his toy at 4am - for a change, is usually me who wakes up), plus DD's usual two wakings, so he does need the sleep, but hope I get the lie-in tomorrow!

Am planning a run this morning (must kick-start my fitness), breakfast outside on the patio and then we're cycling to big park for a play and a picnic and DH and I will get take-out this evening - undecided Italian or Indian

Nat - sorry for pox, not sure whether it's best to wish all get it then you've had it out of the way (if it's possible for them to get it and not you) or to wish only DS1 has it?

Right, on with the day - DH is stirring!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 05/06/2010 08:30

Birthday Girls- have fun!

We're having a day out today. Catch up with you all tomorrow most likely!

Moosy · 05/06/2010 08:38

Just a quicky to say happy birthday you two!

Also, see if you can all spot the wagon-style typo in this ebay listing! here

Diege · 05/06/2010 08:58

MOOSY,I think we all get honorary membership of that club!
Happy Birthday wishes to STAR and TINKS - enjoy your days!
SES,enjoy the hairdressers
CANT, great news on tooth, and on the new improved northern meet-up . I think I will probably be travelling solo, either on train all the way or with NAT from Preston onwards. Ds is not the best traveller, plus as you say I could act as your extra pair of hands
Not feeling great this morning. Ate far too much last night on night out with friends, but just have to get on with it as dh at work till 12 and I have promised them 'Build A Bear' with their saved pennies... Have to gof tonight as well,as cd 14. Really odd, still only getting faint lines on opks, but EWM gone now. I'm sure I ov on day 12 (body-wise) but the sticks saud 'No!'

GiraffeYoga · 05/06/2010 10:21

Morning

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TINK and STAR

DIege- hope you enjoyed the evening despite feeling full now|? and wow your CD14 comes around quick. Seems like only yesterday you were planning a GOF with DH!

HI Moosy- cant see the ebay thing as its expired.

TInk- congratulations for your friend. Glad she has support.

Think I will create a new thread for us!

NatalieJane · 05/06/2010 10:28

Moosy

Happy birthday (again!) Tink and Star, hope you both have lovely days

Diege, well, you're welcome to come with us, just let us know the time etc.

Can't really pleased you'll be able to make it

Hello everyone

Well, no more spots except even more on DS1, bless him he is really getting fed up and I can't even give him a proper cuddle He is absolutely covered from head to foot. DH got some gel stuff from the chemist yesterday for the spots, it's supposed to actually be formulated and proven on CP but it's not done anything, they are still itchy apparently. Poor little thing. (Oh and see, I have plenty of sympathy when he isn't acting it up!)

Plan for today, more course work, mowing the lawns, more course work and then wine time Ohhh and steak, chips, onion rings and a fried egg for dinner, yum!
