Morning.

Diege- glad southport was fun!

Nat- enjoy your day out today too, and it'd be great if you could come to Manchester on the 26th.

Hi everyone else. Have a busy weekend ahead. Got to do food shopping and next tomorrow, going to Heaton park in Manchester on sat with our friends were being surrogate for and their family, Sunday we're planning to do a car boot. Getting the DC's pictures done today with MMM.

DH's job application seems to be very good, his area manager has been told they were very impressed with his idea's and asked how soon DH could leave his store to start the job if he got it! DH has his annual appraisal today with his area manager (who happens to now be a good friend after being DH's store manager when he started working for the company over 6 years ago) so we may get some more inside info. Might be able to arrange a trip to look at some houses!

NatalieJane · 03/06/2010 09:40

Morning again all

Manchester meet up sounds good, but will have to check with DH, it's my birthday that week, so should be able to get him to have the kiddos!

Can't, bring me up to speed please?! Are you deffo doing the surragacy? When? How? LOL And you're moving?

essenceofSES · 03/06/2010 09:49

Thanks guys - it really helps having the listening ear of the wagon.
I think I need to get a large dose of patience from somewhere!

Diege - sorry to make you but I have an afternoon in the salon on Saturday. Half a head of highlights and cut/blow dry
DH is having DS all day practically as I'm at work in the morning and going straight to hair appointment!
I also had a chuckle at lawn or soil

Cant - all sounds v exciting for you at the moment. Hope DH hears for definite about the job soon so you aren't kept in suspense!

tink - hope you don't suffer too much this month with AF. Have you decided on make of phone (or is that determined by which ones come in pink?!) I wish the iPhone came in purple....

Right I'll hopefully be back this evening as DH is away all night at a works do so I get tv, bed, laptop all to myself!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 03/06/2010 10:07

Nat- yes defo doing surrogacy. Not seen them in person since we offered them our help, but going to start ttc late summer. Will be done with my egg so it's a turkey baster jobby! That'll be the icky part but it's a small part in making their dreams come true!

And yes, could be moving. DH has applied for a roduct manager/buyer job within his company so if he gets it he'll be based at head office which is in rotherham. Gonna sell this and rent for a while till we know the position is secure and we know the area.

Diege · 04/06/2010 08:38

Morning! Good luck for your friend TINKS -exciting, but scary too in her circumstances I'd imagine.
SES,I've been watching BGT too - really like those two lanky boys(the dancers, name escapes me)
Have all 4 at home today, but am out at 5 on train to Liverpool for a rare evening with friends. Really looking forward to it!
Big wave to everyone else - hope you're all enjoying the sunshine!

NatalieJane · 04/06/2010 08:52

Good morning

Oh what a wonderful day, the sun is shining, was my planned day off, trip to Southport, get the kids some treats, no work, enjoying the sunshine, except now we are house bound for the forseeable, DS1 got the Pox Other two never had it, and neither have I Poor lad is full of them, not as much as a couple of cm between them. At least they didn't know about Southport etc. else I'd be in for a right bloody day of it!

Tink, more good luck to your friend, she is probably holding a tiny little new born right now

Can't - wow!! You have been busy! Fingers crossed both go to plan for you

Hello everyone else Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine

GiraffeYoga · 04/06/2010 09:13

Morning

TInk- how exiting for your friend. Sounds like a busy time ahead for her! Keep us posted.

Nat- sorry for pox, such bad timing. Hope you dont get it too...

Diege- Night out in liverpool sounds like fun. Hope you enjoy it. do you get to stay out overnight?

Hi Ses

Im quite excited today as I got a message from my very first friend at primary school via friends reunited today.

Lovely weather!

PS the SG is much better now, PHEW!

Diege · 04/06/2010 09:13

Morning NAT! You seem in good spirits, esp considering the arrival of the pox Agree, nothing worse than tellings DCs of plans...recipe for disaster. If it gets tough today, remind yourself what it would be like if they'd known

maxxymoosmummy · 04/06/2010 11:49

morning all ( well just about)
not at work today as had no1 to have DS, so had a morning of tidying, ended up over heating my hoover so it now wont work and off to the beach when DS wakes from his nap, and had some lunch.
hope everyone is having good days.
sorry NAT about the pox. M has already had them when he was about 2 - 3 month old so we ok i hope.

NatalieJane · 04/06/2010 11:57

I am in a very good mood Diege, t'is Friday, wine time, well OK, later on it's wine time!

He's doing OK, lot's of poorly voice inbetween the messing about/playing/singing/dancing with DS2 and 3, he's fine! Bless him though he is covered from head to foot, I've never seen a very nearly naked chicken spotter before, had no idea there would be so many!

MMM, hope you get some child care sorted before you're next due in. Still, good excuse to get to the beach, even your hoover is telling you so!

GY, glad the SG is better

Back to work, so much for my day off!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 04/06/2010 12:04

Diege & nat- really sorry but I'm gonna have to pull out for Manchester, got home from food shopping and the fence has broken more than it already was. We're gonna have to fix it so I can get the pram out the door properly. Really gutted as the kids and myself were really looking forward to it!

Diege · 04/06/2010 12:44

Oh no CANT That's such a shame. We could move it (she says taking over) to a different date if you like?
GIRAFFE,really glad GC is better - makes the whole worlkd seem a better place when the poorlies lift! Re: night out, sadly no,will be back home 10.30 ish, though that's plenty for me.
MMM, that's a pain about the hoover, though the beach does sound good! Bet it'll be packed today!
NAT enjoy the wine (if you can hold on )

cantmummyhaveabreak · 04/06/2010 13:06

Diege- the next month we have car tax to pay for so we'll now be skint till the end of July so go ahead without me. I'm really upset about it too but there's nothing I can do

Diege · 04/06/2010 13:08

No problem CANT,I totally understand. If MMM and NAT are happy to come, then happy to stick with the arrangement, if not, probably better to reschedule anyway(don't really fancy it on my own )
Right, better get cookies out of over

OOh yum thanks Diege

Diege · 04/06/2010 14:02

You're welcome

allshoppedout · 04/06/2010 14:38

morning

friend has had a baby boy
had @ 4am this monring he is gorgoeus

poor ds with cp!!

we went to an indoor play centre this morning
took dd1 into town for lunch and picked up her glasses
really hot and sunny here

hi diege and nat

NatalieJane · 04/06/2010 15:31

Oh no Can't, what a shame. Well, and Diege please say if it's too far, but how about if we all meet in Blackpool, picnic on the beach/somewhere? Then there'd be no travel costs for you Can't, and picnic is pennies. Looks like we'd have a fair chance of the weather being good for it? Anyway, just an idea.

Tink, huge congrats to you friend, there must have been a lot of her dreading the birth, fingers crossed it wasn't as bad as she probably thought it would be.

Is it wine time yet? Am counting down the seconds minutes, can't do the poorly voice anymore, wouldn't mind but one minute he's up doing the merry jig, the next it's "can I have a glass of water please mummy" He's not called me mummy for years, love it how the poorly voice dissapears while he's racing around with the other two, and do you know what? He is not a puppy, so put 'em abloodyway! Grrrrowl

Diege · 04/06/2010 15:45

Blackpool would be fine for me NAT, although I'd have to check out times of trains etc as have to take dd3 to ballet first thing as dh not back from work till 11ish. I would probably get there early-mid afternoon as takes just over an hr I think?
