Gruff- your day out sounds lovely and its great for the cub to have a close cousin. Have your DNephs breathing issues got better now? Lunch sounds yummy too. Fingers crossed for a BFP but I know its best to assume your not pregnant if that makes sense.

Thanks for what you said- definately not over the top, I really miss meeting up. It ctually made me well up a bit... I think that it's one of those days today... Left the SG crying and reaching her arms out to me for a cuddle this morning. AWFUL AWFUL.... am ashamed to say that I was crying on the journey to work (not good when driving up the motorway!) and now it feels like anything could set me off.....

Re work we are going to see how things go and consider September as point to go 4 days...(have to give nursery and work 2 months notice so it cant happen overnight). However, the thing is, that for the benefit of our r'ship, DH is adamanent that it mustnt result in me working all most evenings during the week (I do that now though....) I cant guarantee that as every role I take is different so I feel like he has me over a barrel somewhat..... Feels like the way I feel about things can never come first sometimes..... but he has good point, we hardly see each other at the moment....

Sorry having bad day so please ignore my rants (that are getting too regular these days... sorry).

Ses- DH is bottling it up a bit I think. We talked about our plan to visit more the night we found out. DH has broken down a bit but I can tell he's a bit distant. He knows I'm here as soon as he wants a cuddle or an ear to listen. He was touched when I suggested putting off the boiler to visit more often.

To answer your question, we're headed off to York to visit my friends. Me, O and my cousin again. DH is staying home to clear the patio & shrubbery areas in preparation for our extension.

No GOF last night. Instead DH decided to tell me that he's not quite got his head around DC#2 yet!!!??!! I reminded him that we've been having regular conversations about ttc from May since last summer. He also said he might want to stop at 2DC.
I was v and but tbh not for long as we had a really good talk and he talked a lot about how he was feeling (which he finds quite hard). His main worry is money and the responsibility of "providing" for a family. I talked through with him how well we've coped whilst I've been on ML and now working reduced hours and he does earn a v good salary. He is worried about work though as he says the recession has made things much more pressurised and the working environment isn't what it was.
No real conclusions last night but it does explain how he's been recently and he does definitely want another DC with not too much of an age gap. I guess I just need to be a bit patient and give him some space before demanding a GOF on Monday when I'm back from York

Giraffe - I meant to say too that it sounds like the start of a plan for you but IKWYM about things never quite being your choice or on your terms. It's all so hard isn't it?! I guess we just need to keep talking to our DHs about the way forward...

dd1 got on ok @ hosp with eye apmnt going to chose new glasses on sat as she is having a atronger prescription

there will deffinately be pics posted on FB of M in his kit, not sure how to do it on here hes being a grump this morning, and just wanting cuddles, so going to get us dressed now whilst hes happy sat on the floor, think hes getting another tooth through which may explain the demanding behaviour.

I'm tired! DD2 had me up on the hour every hour after 2am! Argh! Got her jabs this afternoon too! I'm already feeling sick with nerves about them! Why do we do it to ourselves? They're fine after a couple of seconds, but I worry from the day I get the app thru! Got to take the other 2 with me too again, no babysitter and DH can't finish early.

DH is applying for a new job within the company, will be a big move, to Doncaster/Rotherham area but means bigger better house, more money, DH would be in the job he wants! He's been shortlisted already without having applied yet! He's gotta e-mail a CV over by Monday then he will get an interview date! I've already been looking at houses online!

Quiet on here today, good luck with dh job cant.
