hi ladies here is our new thread

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Kayzr · 28/04/2010 21:09

BOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Please can someone fill me in on all the news??

I have been a very bad wagoner. Sits in naughty corner

I am suddenly stupidly busy. I'm either working, tidying up after my munchkins or I'm out somewhere. I'm currently loving my life which sometimes feels strange. I'm my own boss now and don't need to worry about what other people think.

I really hope you are all well.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 28/04/2010 21:20

Evening Kayz!! Your so naughty-

And no- no chance at all of my cleaning being 'nesting'- have been extra specially careful- dont want any surprises happening before we offer help to our friends!!

News... from what i can remember...

Nat is moving into a 17 roomed house next week??

Diege is now ttc DC5!!! AF arrived tho, so roll on next month!!

Playing is up the duff!!

few others ttc and waiting to test....

tinks been shopping.... a few times.... ok, a lot

I've been busy too... but DD2 is crawling, i am addicted to cleaning atm, and have lost another half a stone, which brings my tally to 2 stone and counting!!

Kayzr · 28/04/2010 21:36

I knew Diege would go for DC5!!!!!! Good luck!!

Congrats Playing!!! Good luck to all the other wagoners TTC!!

I know about Nat's house. I see her daily FB countdown

GiraffeYoga · 28/04/2010 21:48

Hey Kayz

Welcome back!

Lets not forget LG&T being pregnant too!!

Cant- great news for DD2 crawling

GruffaloSoldier · 28/04/2010 22:15

evening all!!

Kayz - welcome back. we missed you! how are those little munchkins of yours??

hi everyone else.

I was very naughty and tested tonight! But BFN! (rolls eyes) unsurprisingly as AF isn't even due yet

I am officially an insane early tester....

NatalieJane · 28/04/2010 23:41

LOL Kayz, anything else you'd like to admit to....?

Can't, (Sorry I called you Glask again earlier ) if you fancy popping over to do some more cleaning, feel very free, am uncovering dust elephants bunnies and spiders webs galore as I'm going along, it is seriously gross really, but once again, another sypmtoms of having a house bursting at the seams!

Gruff, t'is very naughty, but you're the same as me, could never wait till due on, so I am in no posistion to pass judgement! (In fact once I'd found the eBay cheepie ones, wasn't uncommon for me to do one with every wee for a week before I was due on ! Still get the urge every now and then to do a test, have no idea why, would brick it if it came up posistive, not least because it's getting less and less likely for it to be DH's () and, you actually have to sex to have a baby, not sure I remember what that is!

Kayzr · 28/04/2010 23:55

No Nat nothing really!!!

The munchkins are fine. Dylan has finally learnt to walk so there is no stopping him now!!

NatalieJane · 29/04/2010 00:58

Oh my goodness me, my last post was awful, had trouble reading it back then myself!

I am tired and I want to go to sleep...

NatalieJane · 29/04/2010 07:38

Managed about an hour, feeling slightly more recharged. It's about bloody time Tuesday hurried up and arrived!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 29/04/2010 08:10

LG&T- very sorry, must have missed your announcment- congrats on having one in the oven... will try and scoot back and see.

LaTourEiffel · 29/04/2010 08:31

BOOOOO!

How are you all?!

Have just skimmed the last few posts - congrats to Playing and LG&T - good luck to Gruff and Diege....have to say I am quite but DH is still adamant about only having two . Still got a few years to work on him though

I have no idea what I've been doing, but like Kayz, have been ridiculously busy - mostly tidying up after the boys (DH included), cooking, shopping, cleaning, tidying in a never ending cycle...

Little bit of job hunting, but not too much, as I'd really prefer not to! We'll have to see how the money pans out though, my funds are starting to run low now

The DS' are good, DS1 has finally succeeded at potty training - we've just cracked it this week in fact, so that's a huge weight off my mind - and should ease the purse strings (no more pullups) and laundry loads (there were lots of accidents!

DS2 isn't mobile yet and is declining most attempts to be weaned. I've been offering him a mixture of finger foods in a BLW style and purees, but he only eats the hand held stuff because he's teething, not because he's hungry, and the purees, well...[rolls eyes], he's stopped gagging on them now, but he refuses to open his mouth and is most unenthusastic about it all....so I am officially exhausted, BF loads during the night because he's too 'busy' looking at what's going on round him to bother with feeding. Cue one exhausted LaTour.

But not unhappy with it, he'll take to it when he's ready - whilst he's sitting etc, he's not quite lost his tongue thrust reflex yet so I guess when that happens he'll be happier about eating [hopeful]

Best scoot, niece and her BF are visiting at the moment and they've just appeared - they're off to Alton Towers today so going to help them pack lunch boxes before hopefully getting back on here!

Love to all....

PS - where's the meet up?

Playingatmotherhood · 29/04/2010 09:47

Morning all,

Nice to see Kay and LaTour back and glad to hear things are ok.

Thanks for the congratulations. Its still rather early yet and as I had a mc in March I'm trying to not get too excited, just taking it a day/week at a time and hoping we'll get through it.

Told my Mum yesterday and she was delighted so thats made it feel a little more real. I know the mc hit her hard as she had one between me and my brother, 2nd pg as well and tbh I'm not sure she's ever really gotten over it and my mc brought it all back, so it was nice to be the bearer of good news for once.

Meet up is somewhere in London. Think someone suggested Hyde park or somewhere similar. Really looking forward to it, as like Nat I've never been to one.

Gruff - sorry to hear abotu the BFN but it was always going to be if you test that early!

Nat - you always sound so organised and busy it makes me exhausted just reading your posts.

Can't - yay for crawling

Right better go and get ready for Small Talk.

Tink - more shopping!

tinkhasaspringinherstep · 29/04/2010 10:33

GRUFF, don't worry about that BFN - as you say too early to be meaningful! Have you a next testing date in mind?

cantmummyhaveabreak · 29/04/2010 12:37

really dont think i can make a london meet-up. I'd love to, but it's way too far to come for the day by train, can't afford to stay in a hotel, and dont drive so can't just make the day-trip...

Diege · 29/04/2010 12:47

Hey CANT why don't we have a northern one too? Maybe Manchester area as we said before? I'm lucky in that I can sort of fit the trip down south around work commitments that I have in London (which helps with the cost); agree, there and back in a day nightmare. Have you broached the subject of surrogacy yet with your friends?

cantmummyhaveabreak · 29/04/2010 12:55

they're staying over next weekend, so we're going to bite the bullet then. Manchester is much easier for me to get to in a day and via train.

Diege · 29/04/2010 13:57

Good luck for next weekend! Are you up for a Machester meet then? (think NAT also close by). Maybe some time in May/June so as not to be too close to London one? (thinking of my saved up 'credits' with dh here...)

tinkhasaspringinherstep · 29/04/2010 14:22

went to see dd1 cutting ribbon - couldnt see very well and raining here so got wet coming from car!!
bits i am selling go into paepr tomorrow so hope they sell.
i am selling elc wooden dolls house plus rooms plus caravan and stables
elc wooden kitchen
and rocking chair
selling as i want to get wooden babydan chairs and dd1 doesnt play with them

cantmummyhaveabreak · 29/04/2010 14:49

i'd not be able to make any time in may, too much on, wedding, friends over- new phone, new bookcase for Dc's as i broke theirs yesterday... but anytime from mid-june sounds good to me.

NatalieJane · 29/04/2010 15:24

Manchester sound's good to me, will still try to make the London one though I don't know how feasable it is TBH! Timing for Manchester wise, well May is deffo out, probably much of June as well - it's going to take me an age to get the house sorted along side my course, and there is one weekend in July already booked but don't know which one yet (going to see mum down south but timing it with the town's festival and we don't know when it is yet, but it's always been July) and will have to check when DH is on call, but, other than that lot, I'm in

Tink, shame you couldn't see too well Hope you get at least some of that sold though

Have absolutely gutted the living room, shifted everything out, cleaned cleaned and cleaned some more, hoovered under the sofas and in them(!), got rid of all the junk that seems to build up on hourly basis, am absolutely shattered, but in true gutting style, now the dining room and kitchen is full of the said junk so need doing as well! Won't mention that they needed doing before the living room guttage Haven't even put the breakfast and lunch things in the dishwasher yet

Just had some bloke from Sky Broadband knock on, before we moved here we had Sky Broadband, when we moved in they told us that they don't do broadband here, but that they could provide us with BT Broadband but still through Sky, they gave us a price and I can't remember what it was now but it was a bit steep, so DH rang BT and we took the broadband direct with them because it was cheaper. This bloke just now is trying to talk me into breaking our contract with BT (still got 4/5 months on it) to go back to "Sky" Broadband and pay more for the same BT Broadband! Do people honestly fall for their claptrap? And why don't they understand the word no?!

NatalieJane · 29/04/2010 15:28

Oh bugger, just realised I thought I had replied just before the Manchester meet chat started and I hadn't

Big hello to LaTour

Tink, curtains and things look lovely Will look good with the new sofa!

Playing, glad you're mum was so pleased Does everybody know now? I can't remember what it was now but I was going to reply to one of your status' on FB with something to do with the pregnancy, then thought better of it!
