Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hi Gruff,

Sounds promising for you as well then. Lets stay cautiously optomistic that you'll have a better month. CM not drying up, knew there was another symptom I had

GruffaloSoldier · 23/04/2010 16:56

sorry playing i missed the post about you having the second BFP, CONGRATS

I am on CD19 here so think still v. early on for me! with GC I didnt have any symptoms til AF was due and that was only cramps, then nausea at 6 weeks pg! I love all the symptom spotting though

Diege · 23/04/2010 17:22

Excellent PLAYING on second BFP - is it starting to sink in now? Your symptoms sound very positive too GRUFF - wow can you imagine if we all got pregnant this month? (plus LG&T!). So what's your due date Playing?
I too have the non-drying up CM, though on and off, and have today had that metallic taste in mouth. Biggest symptom for me is waking early, though that could of course be lighter mornings! I really wish I didn't have the e-bay cheapies in the house - going from not testing till period late (next weekend) to thinking if not pregnant better to let myself down slowly and gently with a series of bfns . On cd 22 so a while of tormenting myself to go yet!

NatalieJane · 23/04/2010 17:54

Oh I think it's time for much louder CONGRATULATIONS Playing!!

Hope this baby thing isn't catching! With all of you pregnant I'd be running serious risks!

You know that list I made this morning of what I needed to do today? Well, none of it happened Am going to have one hell of a busy week next week! Oh well, it'll still get done, just a bit more rushed!!

Have a lovely weekend everyone if I'm not back tomorrow, enjoy the weather, it's supposed to be great over the weekend, take care everyone xx

largeginandtonic · 23/04/2010 19:15

PLAYING!!!! How bloody fantastic We are pregnancy buddies When is your due date?

Could be you too Diege AND you Gruff. How cool would that be!

Tink i have the Stokke, it is ace. Also have the Baby Dan cheaper one, as fab as the Stokke i think.

Natalie i am super pleased for you chick. How clever are YOU! Well done my lovely

Diege · 23/04/2010 19:22

Hi LG&T!!! Really hope I'll be joining you and PLAYING (and GRUFF too, fingers crossed). Had a mad moment when I nearly dashed upstairs and pee'd on one of my many waiting sticks (7 days post-ov) but miraculously resisted and feel all the better for doing so . Blissfully ignorant optimism is the new me. How are you feeling? Sickness kicked in yet?
NAT, enjoy your weekend. You're right, it will get done next week and there is nothing like a deadline to get your arse shifted into gear
Waiting for Ocado van (note to self, must remove Slanket before answering door; clothes underneath, natch), then vegging in front of Corrie x2 and finishing my book.
Hope you and ds are ok MMM if you are lurking xxx

largeginandtonic · 23/04/2010 19:45

Diege excellent restraint. Wait till you hare 12 days post ov. Fingers crossed for you

I feel wretched So tired, can't keep my eyes open. Tis very useful Everything looks bleurgh, when i eat i feel worse. Only another 7+ weeks of it to go...

GruffaloSoldier · 23/04/2010 20:07

Evening everyone

OH my GOD it would be fabulous if we were all pg together!! it would be second gen of wagon babies!!

well done on not testing Diege - I didnt test last time as I didnt have any tests but this time I have a test left over from last month so not sure when I will break. If poss I will wait till 14 dpo. according to fertility friend I ov'd at CD14 so its either next Sunday or Monday (will have to check) it was pretty obvious as temp surged and EWCM and then temp has stayed high.(which is normal - its now how long it will stay high for!!!)

Im very excited at the prospect but obv a bit scared too

GiraffeYoga · 23/04/2010 20:14

OMG!!!!

I've been away from here a week and there are 2 BFPs or lines anyway! Congratulations ladies- I am feeling positive for your Playing... its the only way i think

SOrry for absence.

My work situation sorted out, I am now based in the same location as before long term. New role which is busy and then some. I must have about 20emails an hours!

Anyway- off to do a proper catch up and not just scan for BFPs!
xx

GiraffeYoga · 23/04/2010 20:20

wow just read about the second BFP playing! Yay!!

LG&T sorry for feeling rubbish. I cant imagine how awful that must be.

off to keep reading, albeit randomly

GiraffeYoga · 23/04/2010 20:25

since I've started the theme of random posts, I shall continue

So Ses- I was thinking about you the other day. As you keep saying no sign of AF so it will make starting to TTC difficult. I wondered if you might also be pregnant. Random really.

Come on Diege and Gruff.... surely its time for you guys to test now?

GruffaloSoldier · 23/04/2010 20:41

Hello GY

I have missed you! I thought you must be uber-busy! 20 emails a day sounds a bit scary!!

How is everything else going!? How is the super SG??

anymore thoughts on small giraffe no2?

LOL, yes it did cross my mind too that Ses might be pg too

So SES when are you testing??

LOL taken it a bit far...

GiraffeYoga · 23/04/2010 20:46

Hi Gruff

Its great to know I was missed. I kept trying to come on but i knew I'd be hooked and not get through the work in time!

SG is great thanks, crawling, pulling to standing and walking if i hold her hands so she has move on really quickly. She wasnt even crawling a month ago!

No immediate plans for SG#2 but reading all your posts about pregnancy makes me want to get on with it!!

How is the Cub? x

essenceofSES · 23/04/2010 21:08

Hello all!

I'm with you Giraffe on struggling to get time to get on here properly!

Playing - CONGRATS Really pleased for you!

As for me, I'm definitely not pg
It would be a miracle
As well as no time for MN, not really finding time for making babies either. Not helped by the fact that ever since I've been back from work, I've been ill almost constantly (still on ABs for throat) and O still doesn't sleep through so the tiredness is getting to me. DH has also had his own work stresses. We've been joking that we need to get practicing but it will actually be May soon and we're meant to be ttc for real then. And yes, I still haven't had the return of AF.

Sorry, that was all a bit me, me, me and v

Giraffe - sounds like v speedy progress from SG!
Glad your work situation got sorted.

Gruff - love your photos on FB! Fingers crossed for you this month.

Diege - your symptoms sound v promising too

Nat - your results are beyond fantastic! Obviously the perfect course for you!

LG&T - I guess by now, you know what symptoms to expect when?!

Tink - sounds like you've got your highchair situation sorted?

Hello anyone else lurking!

essenceofSES · 23/04/2010 21:12

Oh, and how could I forget to mention... O took his first proper steps this morning! 5 steps towards me
He's not done it again since and poor boy had a temperature at nursery this afternoon that took Calpol and ibuprofen to control. He doesn't sound v settled up there now. I could really do with a good night as I've been up feeling ill myself a lot the last few nights.

GruffaloSoldier · 23/04/2010 21:51

Hiya!

GY - the cub is great but hard work as he is climbing onto the sofa and just runs its so stressful and scary!he is not climbing as much as he was when he first learned but still I really have no peace now!He has fallen off a few times but doesn't seem to phase him at all DH is fearless so obv takes after him!

Thats great about SG, I think I said to you she would progress really quickly once she got going no stopping her now very that you have had so much peace for so long

Ses, sorry to hear that you are still ill and not likely to be pg and finding hard to get down to ttc. I hope you didn't mind me jesting!I didnt realise. I really hope AF shows up soon and you feel better and can start ttcing in time for when you want to start. Thanks for comments re FB photos

Fab news about O, sorry to hear he is suffering too though

On the plus side it is going to be a gorgeous weekend so make the most of it and get in the sun and Im sure you will feel much better

essenceofSES · 23/04/2010 21:57

Thanks Gruff. Didn't mind you jesting at all
I just feel like we could all do with a couple of bug free, stress free and sleep filled weeks before ttc. O is gradually cutting back on milk - normally 3 BF a day - so I await AF and will try and enjoying some GOFi g before the SWI starts!!

GC sounds v energetic with all his running and climbing! Bet you don't get a minute to yourself!

Diege · 24/04/2010 08:58

Morning! Beautiful weather here and planning to take dds out later shopping to town ( a rare treat as I like the control that Boden the internet gives me regarding what they wear. Ds staying at home with ds and MIL visiting too (well-timed ).
Poor ds (and the rest of us)is suffering with his teeth. Awake on and off from 3 last night, and not happy this morning either. I've managed to prise his mouth apart to have a peek, and there are 3 coming throguh at the top at once, one front one and two front sides, so no wonder he's grumpy bless him.
SES congrats on O's first steps! It must be so rewarding watching him come on so well.I don't blame you about the gof business - not something that would be on the forefront of my mind if poorly. I mean, it's difficult enough when you're feeling on top form
GRUFF, I dreamt about you last night - me and you and dd2 were in a lift in Golden Square shopping centre and a large red and black snake kept on getting in the door and trying to attcak us all. I think we were remarkbaly calm in the circumstances...imagine what Freud would say...maybe it's a sign that we should test??
GIRAFFE, dd sounds like she is coming on so well. That's quick progress from crawling to nearly walking!
LG&T I'm really feeling your pain re: sickness and general bleughness. How on earth do you cope with everything when feeling so rough? (any advice in preparation of a possble similar scenario here [though on a lesser scale of course] would be appreciated!
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sun - make the most of it, rain tomorrow! (albeit n.w england forcast!).

largeginandtonic · 24/04/2010 09:07

Have fun shopping! I quite like going in with them all as long as i don't have a list of things to buy. No agenda days are my favourite.

I am going to bed early. Eating with them early evening as i can't stomach anything really so may as well eat a bit of what they are having.

Dh away for another 2 weeks Then he is only home weekends till middle of June. I will hopefully be feeling ok by then and he will have missed it all! Typical.

The sun is shinning here. Am hoping to throw them all outside today.

tinkhasaspringinherstep · 24/04/2010 09:19

morning ladies

have good days

off to town here

Diege · 24/04/2010 09:26

Hi LG&T! Def a 'no agenda' shopping trip, and really looking forward to it actually! Re: your bleughness, are you able to 'function' ok, as in do the day to day? I'm thinking if I am pregnant and getr hyperemesis again, I may well have to go down the meds route as life pretty much came to a standstill last time...It must be unbelievably hard with dh away
TINKS, are you shopping in town too?

tinkhasaspringinherstep · 24/04/2010 14:07

Phew, all shopped out (payday only yesterday and have spent up ). Got lots. Two pair of shoes for dd3 (she's actually a 10 on one foot, 9 on the other so needs careful fitting) inc. the freased Lelli Kellis..., 2 outfits each from Zara, H&M and Monsoon, and took them for tea at Nandos.
Good shopping yet bagain TINKS
Just waiting for MIL to go and then we can relax...
