Hello everyone,

Smithylovesme Yes Im similar to you. Im expecting my second, but due to beastfeeding not sure when Im due, as my cycles have been all over the place! Im gong by shortest which was 35 days, gives me EDD 7th Dec. Although did get positive Thurs 25th so could be sooner.

Guess ultimately wont really matter as they dont often arrive on the EDD anyway. :-)

Congrats everyone. So excited but scared!

ebrookm · 02/04/2010 12:13

Hello! May i also join?

I am due on the 3rd of December and have been telling close friends and my parents. It is probably too early, but I'm too excited!

I'm feeling tired with sore breasts and having to pee incessantly!

We are v. happy and it will be our first!

I'm feeling nervous and thrilled, while DH is FREAKING OUT about the change. He says he is half-happy, but half-shocked. After we have been trying for two years I think he thought it might never happen!

I try to ignore it! Not looking forward to the MS, but of course it will be well worth it.

And another! I did 1 test yesterday in MacDonalds toilets of all places and got a faint 2nd line. I did another one this morning and got another faint second line so I got some Clearblue tests and I'll do them again in the morning! Sad I know. But I'll be the 5th December so our dates aren't too different at all! This will be number 2 and atm I've just sore busters and head.

heading4home · 02/04/2010 13:38

Congratulations everyone with BFPs!!!!

I've completely lost my appetite completely, and feeling queasy. Didn't happen this early last time so I hope this doesn't mean that I'm in for a rough time.

I've also become really clumsy and keep forgetting the words for things

Other than that, I'm fine

moomaa · 03/04/2010 10:47

Hello hello

Congratulations everyone! I'd like to join this one too I did a test yesterday and this will be DC3. I think my due date will be 8th December but will probably be 1-2 weeks late if they are like the other two.

It will be a busy December for us. DH's birthday is the 15th, DS1's is xmas eve, and of course there's Christmas. DH was determined not to have another December baby but I managed to persuade him otherwise!

Bellared · 03/04/2010 13:18

Well, I did the 3rd test this morning with a Clearblue and it said not pg but the 2 First Response ones I did the days before said I was but one of the 2 lines was faint (on each test). Has anyone had this happen to them?

RaceyLacey · 04/04/2010 09:40

Morning, how is everyone? It still hasn't sunk in yet, did another test this morning and got a really thick line that came up quickly. I have to keep looking at the test sticks to believe it.

h4h I've lost my appetite already too. Eating much smaller portions than usual (if only I'd done that before I wouldn't have put on so much weight the last year!). I'm also being quite clumsy and saying random words. Yesterday morning ds1 was sat in the front room watching qualifying and I was in there talking to him and as I walked out said 'night night' to him. Unfortunately everyone noticed

bellared Is it perhaps still too early for cb to give a bfp? Maybe wait til tomorrow morning and your hcg levels will be a lot higher.

moomaa · 04/04/2010 12:57

Bellared - I got a very faint line with my DD but a line is a line!

Bellared · 04/04/2010 13:19

Thanks ladies your right a line is a line! I'm at the Dr's on Thursday anyway.

h4h/rl I've started the random words too and the back to front sentences! wtf??

I told my mum and stepdad the other night and he squealed and jumped about (they were in the pub when I told them) Mum said she had a feeling last week and DH's work colleague knew last time and knew this time too. [econfused].

Has anyone managed their childrens chocolate yet?

OnlyWantsOne · 04/04/2010 13:30

YAY I am no longer alone!!!!!

OP posts:
Bellared · 04/04/2010 14:06

And mostly share the same due date too!

Where is everyone from?

ebrookm · 04/04/2010 14:19

Congrantulations to everyone! I am feeling very lazy and cannot manage to finish anything I start... Therefore, I thought I would check in with you all.

Breasts are super sore and slight nausea but nothing else.

I am writing (and living) in London, but from NYC originally.

OP posts:
OnlyWantsOne · 04/04/2010 15:47

RaceyLacey · 04/04/2010 17:02

I live in Portsmouth.

I'll carry on the list.

OnlyWantsOne - age 22 - baby no2 - edd 6th December
RaceyLacey - age 30 - baby no3 - edd 8th December

Not told anyone yet, am going to wait until after I've seen dr which is the week after school hols finish. I might break and tell my Mum before then though!

Bellared · 04/04/2010 19:49

OnlyWantsOne - age 22 - baby no2 - edd 6th December
RaceyLacey - age 30 - baby no3 - edd 8th December
Bellared - age 29 baby no2 - edd 5th December and I live in Leigh, Lancs atm.

I've only told mum, dad and stepdad. Do you think the best time to tell work is about 12 weeks or before then if its obvious?

moomaa · 04/04/2010 19:59

OnlyWantsOne - age 22 - baby no2 - edd 6th December
RaceyLacey - age 30 - baby no3 - edd 8th December
Bellared - age 29 baby no2 - edd 5th December
Moomaa - age 31 - baby no3 -edd 8th December

I wouldn't tell work until 12 weeks unless there was a good reason to (I told work at 8 weeks with DC2 as that was when I came back from maternity leave and there was no point putting me back in my old job, when I was going to leave again soon!).

OnlyWantsOne · 04/04/2010 20:06

Bellared - age 29 baby no2 - edd 5th December

OnlyWantsOne - age 22 - baby no2 - edd 6th December

RaceyLacey - age 30 - baby no3 - edd 8th December

Moomaa - age 31 - baby no3 -edd 8th December

I have my booking in Appt with the midwife in May - about the 9th I think, told my GP.

Only my DP and my sister know at the moment. Won't be telling any one else till 12 weeks.

All very exciting, we got pregnant with the first month of "oh what the heck" and wasn't expecting to get so lucky so soon.

I'm currently still in the 2nd year of my degree. Scary to think about dissertations and a newborn. Eeeeek

Hi ladies. Had a look here last week when I got my BFP but held off joining up... but am joining you now in an effort to be positive as this afternoon started to lightly bleed . Have my fingers crossed but also have cramping so I am really worried.

My official due date is Nov 23rd by lmp but I am certain this will be a Dec baby by my calculations - am still breastfeeding DS1 (14 mos) and only had 2 periods, so timing all over the place.

Well, just wanted to say hello really, and I hope to be back and on the thread till Dec and beyond!

Moomaa, were you entitled to full SMP after coming back from ML then gong back on in 7 months? You're right about waiting, I've only been at this job since Jan and my 3 month probation period ends on the 4th April.

OWO - What are you studying?

OnlyWantsOne · 04/04/2010 20:45

Bellared Im doing an English degree
