was just wondering how to rest with 2 year old and DH turned up having booked afternoon off work as emergency leave as a surprise they are off swimming, I am off to bed.

DD is still under the weather. Went down for a nap at 12.45 and is still asleep!! Snoring her head off. Sleeping seems to be her way of coping when shes ill bless her.

Ive had a nap too.. only about 40 mins though but needed after being up all night with her. Washings done, new buggy board fitted to pram, birth plan written.[Whisper- Almost feeling abit bored now!]

ML - am watching your induction with interest, hope it all kicks off for you soon

Had our day out today which was fab, a farm park thing with loads of outdoor things for the DDs to do, DD3 especially had a ball but would only tolerate being in her pram if she was being fed, wanted to walk everywhere. I had loads of little sitting down breaks and took 2 cocodamols before we went so I could walk will probably pay for it later but who cares. Just lovely to get out feeling a bit stir crazy.

pigley - aww hope DD is feeling better soon, 4/5ths means she can feel 4/5ths i.e. there is a 1/5 in the pelvis wouldn't worry heads bob in and out especially with a second. DD2's head never engaged and look how fast she was born. Don't think the MW meant anything, I don't think anyone knows when these babies will actually arrive. This volcanic ash thing is mad.

pamelat - enjoy your sleep my BP was 96/50 the other day I thought that was low, is the second figure the important one (can't remember now)

Heffa - I do love the people who "know" what you are having especially by your bump shape, the number of people that have said to me "oh that is SO definitely a boy bump" erm that's because I have told you it's a boy and it's the exact same as the other 3 my Mother was adamant the scan was wrong with DD1 as I was carrying for a boy

Rachel - eugh mice. I think some stern words to your DH are in order, mice pee and poo has some nasty things in it pregnant women shouldn't be near. He'll need to get the rubber gloves on.

All going well though she is little and only 36 weeks.

SK - they generally seem most interested in the bottom number with BP (the diastolic). 50 does seem a bit low but then mine is normally somewhere around 100 so I'm not the best judge. I'm sure they'd have said if it was a problem though

Had my MW appt and LO is lying on my right hand side (so much for all my sleeping on the left!). I'm 36 weeks tomorrow but she said she wouldn't be surprised if it turned up in the next couple of weeks (though I'm not allowed to tell her off if I then go over due ) and that she also reckons it will be a good pound heavier than DD. We'll see how right she is....

Five. No the doctor didnt manage to break them quite releived as I go like a rocket after my waters break.
Sk my last 2 inductions were at 38 weeks and I went quite quickly it helps if your cervix is soft too which it quite often is if you have more than two children
