Welcome Caro. I've put on about a stone already as well, so you're not alone! I think it really varies from person to person. My weight gain has actually dropped off since the first couple of months, when I just wanted to eat everything in sight (and did ). For what it's worth, after DS the weight just fell off without me making any effort at all (though I never got my flat stomach back, and suspect I never will ).

What is TEAM BLUE/YELLOW/PINK?

Hi ladies, what have i missed? A quick look back suggests lots of 20 week scans (yay!)and cakes. Congrats, to all with good news and those a little more familiar with their babies.

I'm just back from a blissful few days in Devon & Cornwall - walks, beaches, pubs, a hotel with Frette bedlinen & an emperor size bed & a rolltop bath in the room...but the best bit of the lot was sitting in front of roaring fires with plates of fresh scones with clotted cream and tea. I really do believe that the clotted cream helped ease this week's new symptom, raging indigestion.

Re bras - I was a 30 or 32J pre-pregnancy and went to get fitted at Bravissimo last week as everything is rapidly going south (I'd be scared to measure the distance between my belly button & my nipples). I'm now wearing an unwired 34J for comfort - the girl said said she'd fit me as a 32JJ if I wasn't pregnant and brought me a whole load of underwired bras to try on so another scowl at the ignorant lady from John Lewis.

As I'm still away from home - I'm in Cambridge at the moment - can anyone tell me how long I should usually have to wait to get my AFP results back? My ILs have been checking the answer machine and the mail at home but I still haven't heard after 3 weeks? Should I be chasing?

Hector, 3 weeks sounds like quite a long time to me. Mine took about a week to come through. Though on the positive side it doesn't sound like they're in any hurry to talk to you, so I'm sure everything's fine. But I think I'd chase if I were you, just for peace of mind.

I don't know why I'm surprised that you lot get grumpy when you think someone is holding out on some delicious snacky treats...

I just found out this week that I am on TEAM PINK!! (had private scan at 16wks) if someone could add that to the list on the next update? so we will have two gorgeous little girls - i keep imagining an exact replica of raimee lol!
finding it v hard to think of names, so far we like Ava, Summer, or Madilyn- what does everyone think? im not sure if summer will work if the baby is born in September though?!
Anyway, i need to have a really good catch up so think i will settle down tonight and read up on what everyones been upto! hope your all well, sam xxx

Mission attic is starting this evening with a trip to B+Q to buy a ladder and loft boards to take advantage of the 20% off when you spend over £50 weekend. Then when the attic has boards down (probably over Easter) we'll be able to make a start on baby's room!

Mission untility room 60% complete now too! Woohoo! Toilet removed, electric in, floor ordered. Only floor fitted and order tumble dryer to go! :D

I fancy a baby shopping weekend but going to resist until after scan!

Cherry, sadly cos Dh doesn't want to find out the sex we are not finding out - I insisted on finding out with the twins (for practicalities' sake) and stupidly told him 'you can decide next time whether to find out or not' . Be careful what you promise! I am impatient and would rather know, but I have a boy and a girl already and they are both wonderful so I don't care.

Girls, glad the car is good! We are getting the multimac, it is £1650 but I will get 50% off if I can get an article about it in our paper. I am actually struggling to get it in somewhere though! There used to be a kids' products page in the S Express and it could have gone in there but it has been dropped! Hopefully will convince one of the features desks to take it. If not we will still go for it cos I reckon I will be just about cost neutral when taking into account new car depriciation plus the fuel we will save from keeping the slightly smaller car.

Hello all, im a newbie on this group & would like to join if you'll have me! Is lovely reading so many comments from people going through the same kinda things

Im 17 weeks, due 19th August with first baby & from Reading, Berks. So excited! We have our '20' week scan mid-April & are definately finding out whether we are team pink or blue. I cant wait to find out!

Does anybody have any advice on where to find a good choice of maternity swimsuits? My normal one just about still fits but not for much longer i fear... x
