Hi girls!

Sorry to mess up the list, but can I join?!! Due date is 13th Aug, baby no.2 (already have a DS just turned 2). I'm 35 and live in North Yorkshire.

Feeling sick ALL THE TIME (like I was with my first) and very tired, although that seems to be wearing off a bit now. I'm 12 wks now so hopefully I'll be blossoming very soon!! My midwife is coming tomorrow but I don't have a scan date as yet, although I have heard the heartbeat when I went to see a different midwife at 10 weeks.

Glad to hear the scans are going well. Had my 12 week today, all went well. Baby wasn't playing though so only saw the side of him/her, so can't make out much on the pictures. My EDD been bought forward by 5 days so I am now due on the 5 August:

Felt baby move properly last night Proper kick as well, haven't felt it since tho - was leaning on the kitchen side washing up - prob why I could feel, tummy was a leeetle compressed. Told dh and he's pleased but gutted cos he can't feel it yet. He says he can't wait to see my tummy bumping around Bless him.

Bring on the 20wk scan now - I wanna know if it's a footie player or a ballerina
Stereotypes just are't right are they? I mean I have a boy who like dancing and singing, and a tomboy for a daughter who hates wearing skirts Oh well - I love em anyway

Anyone got their eye on a pram/stroller whatever you call it? spose a lot of you will already have that kit. It seems quite difficult to find one with a good overall rating? any recomendations? Spose I shouldn't really be talking about this till after this evening

Hi not been on for a few days cos couldn't bear to hear all the bad news but I am so glad to hear of all the positive stories on this new thread! My scan is a week today and sometimes I feel really positive and others I am convinced there is no baby in there.

Who was it who has twins too? Yes we are mad aren't we. My DTs are just starting to become a real handful, getting very independent and not doing what I say! And I am so tired it has been tough. So when the new baby arrives it should be lots of fun!

That's the thing really, it's nothing serious, just a complete lack of sleep cos DD's teething and me getting at DH not helping me during the night...very boring but I didn't get more than an hour's sleep at a time last night - reckon it's a Cbeebies/snoozing on the sofa day!

owh chulita that's poo, get DH told! they can be so selfish sometimes. My DH came home last night and expected the fanfare and banners with welcome home hubby... even though he does this every 5 weeks!! he's doing the whole, I've been working hard to put a roof over your head thing, I say I've been working hard to grow a baby thing & WORKING.. etc etc. they can be such neaderthals (if that's how you spell it).

Yea, DH has never been good at helping at night because I bf'd so he couldn't really help. Thing is DD's really miserable today and after having it all night I'm really not looking forward to trying to entertain her! [sigh] She's still beautiful though
I do think they underestimate how tiring being pg is!

Chulita you do what my DH does to me when our kids get up in the night, he slyly kicks me in the shins and then when I ask him why he does that he claims not to realise he was doing it Like I'm gonna believe that!!!
