Glad everything was ok bigmuther.

I cant get a doc ap for today but I have finally got my scan date!! 10th feb! Its going to go so slowly but at least I finally have a date.

What a hassle it was though, have tried ringing so many times & its constantly engaged, I finally got through this morning after about 40mins of pressing re dial!

I'm not doing too badly with healthy eating, still eating lots of fruit, have maybe had a few too many hot cross buns though!

I really cant decide about the swine flu jab, for me or my ds, have heard so many different opinions on it I'm so confused!

Got home from work yesterday and the scan date is for 3rd Feb, was going to go private but have decided 7 days isn't too long to wait - will be 12+1 if that is correct so 11 exactly today!!!

Getting less tired and thought sickness was going but last night came back with a vengence - although was able to stuff myself with some Gu Chocolate Mousse... after all had thrown up earlier so thought I needed to refresh my calorie intake. It stayed where it was thankfully!!!!!

Anyway nice to see the new thread, lets hope this is the good news thread. I am refusing to feel downcast this week if I can help it, monday was a new day!

I too have been trying to feel anything in my lumpy flab from dd, to no avail....just a lot of flubber!

Ladies, I have a question that I need some help with:
I haven't told my family yet about the pg, so only my dh knows and my bf guessed....anyway we don't all get together very often but are this weekend (all but one of us), and I don't know when we will all get together again but I am sure it won't be for another couple of months. Its my Bro's birthday - so do I ruin it (he is in his 40's and it isn't a "big" one) or do I not say anything and call them all individually? The real issue is that I won't have had the scan by Sunday so if it is bad news then will have to explain to them, although I would want to do that anyway I would expect....So what do you reckon, we are seeing DH family the following weekend and want to tell my family before his.(I am selfish like that! - besides SIL (MIL daughter) is currently pregnant so......)

thanks blueberries&kaylo think I'll go once I know everything is moving along nicely (hopefully) I know it won't make much difference but ho hum. I've had flu jab before so I'm sure it's just similar to that.

kaylo sounds like your having a worrying time with your DH. Do they know how long it will be before his immune system will pick up?

I keep falling over as well...About 10 days ago I slipped on ice - very bad bruise on my left bum cheek, I fell up the stairs at the week end and winded myself and I fell over badly yesterday at work, cut open all my hands and badly strained my tummy muscles trying to stay up right :-(

Hi all,
Just checking in very quickly to say that I am another very happy 12 week scan graduate . Baby fine and very active (and only one of 'em in there ), and was lying in the perfect position for the scan. The ultrasonographer said that the nuchal fold looked thin, so should hopefully be a low risk result - they're supposed to phone by the end of the week if it's high risk.

Anyway, must go and entertain DS. Will check in again later. Good luck to anyone else with a scan today x

My little monkey was in a rubbish position and had to be coaxed awake with a wee dose of jelly babies! Don't think my jelly belly helped much though I'm sure the pictures were clearer with ds.

Kaylo apparently the SF jab is a 'dead' vaccine rather than a 'live' one so shouldn't give you SF, but can make you feel rough because of something being put into your body. Look it up on NHS website if you want more info

Cazzy i am in Newmarket, are you in one of the villages?

BouncingBlueberries i find grapes are the best snack food, you can just pick like you would with maltesers or crisps (i have got a bit of a thing for crisps and doubledeckers atm)

Slept badly last night, was fine while i had the window open, but DH got cold and shut it so couldn't sleep after that.

Also got a horrid metallic taste again today - bleugh

How nice that so many positive scan stories are coming through now.

Added me to the list. Two days now with much reduced morning sickness and no puking - 15 weeks today YEAH!!!!!

I'm sort of on the healthy wagon - I've stocked up on grapes, bananas, olives and spinach because that's what I've been fancying...not all together of course! Currently tucking into the most gigantic bowl of banana, grapes and yoghurt.
Not all healthy though, yesterday I polished off a whole bag of chilli peanuts - they were sooooo good
alice, today's the first day I haven't had that horrible taste for ages! I always find I feel way more nauseous when it's there...

On my iPhone at work and the stupid copy and paste isn't working right. Will have to add myself to the list tonight... Subtley. I promised DH I would quit MN for a while as I got myself really worked up this weekend.

My symptoms have really disappeared over the last 4-5 days, which could be because I'm almost 12 weeks, but obviously I was thinking the worst. It got to the point where I was manhandling my boobs to see if they were still sore - and, yes, OW, they are! God, what an idiot!

Got my scan at Kings on Friday - can't wait! So pleased that all the good news is rolling in. Keep it up ladies!
