My local Matalan is selling quite pretty maternity/feeding bras at the very reasonable price of two for £10. Bet they'd still make my norks looks like spaniels ears though - I hate non-wired bras.

Am so of all of you that are having midwife and scans - my midwife hasn't even phoned me so I am going to make a fuss tomorrow and demand to be seen..... I need to know what you are all talking about and put my mind at rest after all the bad news - and actually feel that someone other than me knows I am pregnant and takes me seriously!

I have another scan tomorrow and really nervous about it. Hope all is ok and both babies growing well. Go from thinking it will all be fine to thinking good things dont happen to me and im gonna get bad news again. Will just need to wait till 2.45 tomorrow.

i've got scan news and its good news!!!
we had to wait ages but, Pea's all good! measuring slightly under the 9 weeks we think she/he is but sonographer said its because she/he looks quite scrunched up. Shortly after she'd said that, Pea had a little wriggly dance and stretched out a bit!
Pain I was getting in my stomach that was worrying me is a cyst on one of my ovaries. Nowt they can do about it, warned me it would probably cause more pain but at least I know now that its nothing to worry about. She also found the bit that was bleeding and she said it looks like its stopped now so hopefully no more bleeding. Sonographer cancelled 12wk scan but Sister on EPU said that we should have it, if only for our own peace of mind. She couldn't believe we had to wait from 8wks to 20wks with DS.
So, in summary, Pea's absolutely fine and we get to see her/him again in a few weeks!

Since I live in Guernsey, I have no option of going for a private scan, but must wait, and it seems endless. I'm around 9/10 weeks, so my ddate is a guess, but so far I don't have any mw or scan appts. I've tried calling but was told to wait. I just want to see/hear a heartbeat! Now!

The care here is very good, and I've always felt happy it, and sometimes been really impressed with it. I'm just having a hard time waiting.

Many congratulations to all positive scanees! I hope to join your ranks soon.

Havent caught up on all the posts yet, congrats to everyone with good scan results!

Its nice to see this thread is getting more & more positive

I am going to ring tomorrow & see if they can tell me when my scan is yet, the waiting is driving me mad!

Im so tempted to get a private 1 but dh thinks we should just wait, grrrr!

I got results back from my booking in blood tests, all fine apart from it says I'm only partially imune to german measles, I'm going to try see the doc tomorrow to talk about it, I'm a bit worried, will also tell him that I think I could be further along, see what he says.

Don't know about anyone else but SPD and Sciatica is driving me up the bloody wall!!! Feels like my pelvis is falling apart and last night I could barely move my left leg

Morning girls!

Feel like different person this morning. had a crap sleep last night but I don't care - I have photographic evidence that there is more to my stomach than pies and chocolate

Have decided to start a serious health kick today. Really got to stop all the naughty snacking and eat more fruit. So stocked up ont he way to work and have grapes, apples, bananas and raisin shreddies to see me through the day. Lovely big fruit salad for brekkie no. 1 and stir fry planned for dinner. Anyone want to join me on the healthy snacks wagon (cake, as long as it contains fruit is obviously allowed ie. LEMON drizzle, Victoria sponge, APPLE cake etc )

congrats on your scan miamla shame about your cyst, hope it doesn't cause you too much jip.

I feel for you vita, thats rubbish that you don't have a scan date in yet, least you have something to aim towards when you get your date. I'm so glad I booked in for my private scan (tomorrow - yippee) I don't think my sanity would have held it much longer, and i'm normally such a patient person

p.s. anyone been for their swine flu jab? or thinking of going. I was going to go but my friend said I should probably leave it till after 12 wks... think she's probably right, but I might have changed my mind about it by then.

MrsZaC WRT swine flu jab - I daren't have it as yet as DH recently diagnosed with Crohns Disease and his immune system isn't coping at all with a normal cold - I don't really wanna bring even the tiniest but of swine flu home in case he gets it!! Even my dc's aren't having it, not yet anyway. I may get when dh picks up with his medication (when he eventually gets it....whole other story!!)

Healthy Eating
Not doing too badly here thanks to my cravings feel a bit like a cheat actually cos anything sweet and sugary makes me sick! Even fizzy vimto!!

My meals today:-
breakfast - multigrain stars from Asda, morning snack - will be a pear
lunch - will be cheese salad sandwiches and tuc biscuits with philadelphia light (my indulgence)
afternoon snack - will be a golden delicious apple
