God, are we really on our 3rd thread???? Already???

I feel sooooo sick this afternoon [feeling sorry for myself emoticon] Ideally would like to put DD to bed and then go to bed myself, however i have a hay delivery to the yard this afternoon so need to get myself and DD into the car and drive 12miles to the yard Better get going, may have to to take a packet of biscuits to snack on as the only time i don't feel sick is when i am actually eating.

Oh Alice Hope you feel better soon hun - couldn't anyone else take the delivery for you?

Its good to see good news of the 12wk scans coming through.Really hope i can start enjoying this pregnancy soon.Booked a scan at baby bond on the 27th Feb they can do gender scans from 16 wks onward it is one of the cheaper scans they do,it will be nice going to a scan with out worrying about whether there is a problem,and if they can tell me the sex that is going to be a bonus.Can,t wait to start shopping for this baby seen such cute boy and girl clothes

I agree it would be lovely to find out the sex to start the shopping marathon that would follow Think we're waiting for the 20wk scan tho as it's close to dd's 5th birthday and it would be sooo nice to be able to tell her on her birthday, she's really excited!!!

My 2 ds,s 14&16 are really exited now they have got over the shock that there parents still have sex and the comments of that's disgusting

Was all geared up for a spending spree at lunchtime and came back with only 1 top and a vest

H&M maternity was rubbish and there were only a couple of things in Mamas & Papas that I liked. Boo.

Have my eye on a few bits from Blooming Marvellous though, so might need to do some virtual shopping

Once I'm sorted with maternity clothes, then I'll start on shopping for the baby!

LCRLCR I'm 13 weeks and work trousers are a leeeetle bit tight, but I wouldn't say I'm showing enough for anyone to say "how far gone are you?"

DH does say I feel more "chunky" though when he pulls me in for a hug - fortunately for me he is repulsed by the likes of Victoria Beckham and prefers the curvier lady

I'm 14wks and I'm in maternity clothes all round.

Normal clothes just aren't accommodating baby at all!!!

Argh LCRLCR you see it looks like you are on number 1, if you are on a number after that it tends to go nutso early on - eg at 9 weeks I looked 15 weeks, at 11 I just look plump unless its the end of the day! However if it makes any difference I think a few peeps will have tighter clothes by now, also depends on your original size - I am considerably padded and so I always look chubby but seem to have expanded under my boobs, which I am now in the post last baby size when I had slightly cut down on bf her.

Actually am going to stop now as getting a little depressed thinking of how hugomungous my boobs are going to be again - I swear I could rest my chin on them when my milk first came in! I am afraid there is no hope but for a bit of underwired help for a bit longer, will stop nearer the due date!

Great to hear about the positive scans.
I'm coming up to 10 weeks, but what few symptoms I have seem to have disappeared. Still knackered, though!

I'm trying v hard to resist the temptation to get a private scan. I figure that whether it's good or bad news, there's nothing I can do to change the outcome, except keep as healthy as possible.

Hey Looby don't worry about your scan date being ages away - with dd I was 15 weeks when I had my dating scan. With ds I was 14wks 5days.

well hello, I am another chicken, loving to read your posts but a bit afraid to write.
I am waiting for my second child so I don't have really much time to keep writing and answering. It' scan time and mine will be this Friday... maybe after being 100% sure that all is fine, I'll be more chatty. xx
