becky totally sympathise bout anti social neighbours ours were complete animals. Not worried bout groin pains, they can last but tends to be sporadic, i'm just unlucky lol. Hope the rest of your nights better hun x burns night tomorrow pity i hate haggis

beckyg123 · 24/01/2010 21:49

Aw thanks stac yep, "animals" explains them really well. They can go for months being quiet and nice and then just turn into vicious f$&ers in seconds - its not directed at me but really upsetting to hear and witness. I suppose i'm stressed about when baby comes and having them hear everything too! although i suppose they can already hear to should be used to it! it was the fighting outside that really shook me up - police all away now - they send 3 cars, a van and an ambulance! at least they took it seriously and were here in minutes.
all quiet for a while i think so going to have an early night.

I hate haggis too but love listening to all the burns poems!

stac14 · 24/01/2010 22:03

baby will be far more resiliant bout noise than you think hun so try not to worry bout it. Maybe now the police will clamp down on them hun x

No worry about nosiness I am a nosey wotsit myself!
I am referred because of my first birth, was horrible and had to have tranfusion, manual removal placenta... as I wanted to ask about c section although I am not sure about it as time goes on. I know probability of same thing happening again is low but still, well basically Im not looking forward to IT!

Chulita · 25/01/2010 09:56

I still feel crap, threw up all my breakfast this morning and then got the shakes Spent the weekend napping all day so hardly got to see DH at all...where's this fricking 2nd trimester bloom!?
And I've got headaches too, feel permanently thirsty no matter how much I drink. Argh
Yep, I did just come on here to whinge, I'll see if I can find something useful to say before I come back!
Anyone else debating a VBAC?

TishTosh21 · 25/01/2010 11:50

My tummy has suddenly grown a great deal overnight it seems, my normal jeans dont fit but maternity ones are too big.

I also have a v stuffy nose today but havent got a cold, Ive had a congested nasal passage pretty much all the way through but today it just seems even more stuffed up.

Yay Im getting my hair done today I havent had it done for such a long time it really needs it, im looking forward to sitting and relaxing for an hour whilst someone works magic on my hair

stac14 · 25/01/2010 12:24

hey chulita no wonder your grumpy hun sounds like u've had a rotten weekend. Im bout a week ahead of you and i am just starting to feel better and eat more normally. I had a vbac with ds but it was quite traumatic so kind of hoping for a c-section.

fairy i was close to hemoraging they said a mililitre away from it apparantly whatever that means. I also badly tore and needed a ventouse cap to assist delivery, so if i am honest think i would prefer a c-section, did you just ask cons about it?

Lucky you tish getting your hair done, i got mine done before xmas but holding off till the middle of feb so its done before the stereophonics concert. Just hoping i will be up for going lol. Is the hairband not working for your jeans hun? I'm just waiting for mine to pop, also thought i felt something earlier but still putting it down to wind lol

violetbubbles · 25/01/2010 12:47

Good to know that so many of us are getting headaches...helps calm my overactive imagination

I've just been to Tesco where I spent £29 on fresh fruit, cucumber, salad cream, baguettes and danish pastries...was quite shocked when I put it all through at the checkout, but what the heck...I've been cheated out of my second semester glow so I totally deserve some treats!

DesperateHousewife21 · 25/01/2010 12:47

Hello its me formerly TishTosh21 I fancied a name change got bored with my other one

Oh yeah I forgot you were going to the concert! Yeah I'd wait before getting your hair done so its nice for the concert.

I thought I felt something this morning but put it down to wind, its a little too early to feel movement yet if its your first I thought.

fairy472 · 25/01/2010 12:57

Stac14 when I had my booking in appt I told the midwife my first birth nightmare, I also had ventouse. She referred me to the cons, re the csect, which is next Monday.
but then I am a bit confused as she said I would have to see him anyway cost of the PPH they call it, post partum haemorraging?!.... I cant spell it! Oh dear that English A level hasnt come in very useful!

fairy472 · 25/01/2010 12:58

cos not cost! ha im not going private!!

stac14 · 25/01/2010 13:08

may ask mw about it at next app fairy they dont have my old notes as it was a different hossie and was nearly 11 years ago lol

dh21 kool new name, i've shortened it for easy typing lol. I'm not sure if it was movement as my last pregnancy was so long ago or if i just want it to be so i know lo is ok lol

violet i am leaving for the shops just before school to do the exact same thing, fancy something fab for dinner but dont know what yet. Dp is having pork chops but i don't fancy that lol hope you enjoy your goodies

tsc so sorry your having a sh*t time at the moment. Has the mw offered any other appointment to check on you? Someone on here also said they struggle to hear the heartbeat at or before 16wks due to where the placenta is lying. Maybe you just need to let dd1 have some space and she will come home soon. Hope things get better for you hun. Thinking of you x

thats shocking, will your gp maybe do a check for you? Some practices have doplars so you could try that. Your mw doesn't think your nuts either hun, your going through a lot at the moment so its completely normal for you to feel the way you do. But defo ask your gp bout the doplar try put your mind at rest x

OP posts:
WinterMadness · 25/01/2010 13:47

tsc sorry things are shitty at the moment nightmare about dd1. Can't really help other than maybe advise talking to the family that are supporting her decision? If they can understand things from your perspective then maybe they'll help try to get her home?

And as for the heartbeat...I was a day off 17 weeks when I went for my mw appointment and she really didn't want to listen for it cos it's hard to find this early. Basically cos buba is so small at the moment but your uterus is large so s/he has loads of room to move about and it can be hard to track them down. She found mine after some time but it quickly moved away from the doppler. I know it's easy for me to say but try not to worry everything will be fine I'm absolutely sure.

Just for a laugh today I did a Chinese gender predictor online. I did one in a magazine when duffed with ds...everyone and their wife told me I was definitely having a girl due to the shape of my bump bug that said boy. And it was right (granted it's a 50/50 chance but we'll put that to one side for a minute) This one said girl. Can't say I'm disappointed with that

stac14 · 25/01/2010 13:50

winter i did that online and was told a girl but will be finding out at 20wks are you?
