Hi, i very rarely post but for those of you itching to hear baby's heartbeat, you can get an angel sounds doppler on ebay for about 20 quid. I got mine last week and find it very reassuring to hear him/her though it can take a while to find.

CurlyCasper · 14/01/2010 20:34

I second that _ I have been using mine for weeks and I love it! It's getting clearer every time

beckyg123 · 14/01/2010 21:01

Evening!

Just back from aquafit and swan a few lengths! Again feeling great after it! Got a good stretch out

TSC thats great your friend is feeling better! mmm... you got any left over dinner? I'm starving

The doppler idea sounds lovely but really don't think i could trust myself with a one - would be constantly panicing, checking and obsessing - nope, definately not to be trusted!

Stac that would be cool if we are on the same classes! A real live antenatal buddy already!!! I had a wee look through the leaflet and it says suitable after 12 weeks so think i might call tomorrow while feeling motivated! Sorry to hear your feeling down today- hope you've picked up now

kittykat your work sound mega organised!!! At least you'll get some rest when you need it!

orange 39 days to go til scan!!! So excited already!

Emster30 · 14/01/2010 21:10

Chulita I'm only 12+4 but have been feeling something like tiny bubbles just in the right place. I'm sure it can't really be the baby.

I haven't had any Bounty packs - the midwife had run out when I went for my booking in appt and I didn't get anything at my scan.

Only a week to go now until my nuchal scan at 13+4! Can't wait to see the baby again.

WinterMadness · 14/01/2010 21:17

Anyone else suffering headaches? I'll be 16 weeks on Saturday so thought they might have eased by now but no joy. It's horrible as they last days (weeks really)

My Mam had lots of headaches with me so now she's wondering if I'm having a girl this time.....

orangefizz · 14/01/2010 21:38

Winter yes to the headaches, i didn't have them last time and they are bad, mine last days at a time too, got one right now , does that mean a girl? I'm sure i'm having another girl anyway...

beckyg yay, you can be my countdown!!!

stac14 · 14/01/2010 21:39

winter yes I have been getting them for the past couple of days, wasnt sure if it was my sinuses although I dont suffer from that when not preggers, ooh better not tell dp headaches could mean a girl that will confirm his thoughts lol

becky I'm ok now, think its this bloody weather and being stuck in the house. I will phone tomorrow too, see if we end up in the same class lol

emster is your nuchal fold a private scan? I had bubbles about then but dont think I have felt anything since, really looking forward to the movement

I couldnt have a dopler at home, I would have it on constantly, defo would develope an ocd regarding it

PinkBobble-Hiya, im expecting my third too. I have two boys 4yrs and nrly 6. What about you?

Chulita-At least that?s good news in that you wont be waiting weeks after your due date for bubs to appear. Are you going for a vbac?

WinterMadness-I second the headache thing, I had one yesterday and one today, awful timing as I felt really tired today too and had a meeting with senco at ds1?s school-not really where I wanted to be with a thumping headache but it was important so I couldn?t cancel.

I had the mum to be pack thing from boots ages ago, not sure about this other pack your all talking about though and don?t recall ever having had one given to me from midwife expect after the births.

Good to hear everyone getting there dates through for their 20wk scans, I havent heard anything yet, although I think the way they do it down here is book one after your appt at about 16weeks.

Hope those of you with ms its easing up? Went a few days without, then the last three ive been sick. Had a delish salad with new pots and a piece of salmon, got halfway through and got a bone, promtly threw up-thankgod the bathroom is next to the kitchen! dissapointing as I was really enjoying it but couldn?t go back to it after that!

GlastonburyGoddess · 14/01/2010 21:52

Oh and to whoever asked about movements, Ive been feeling some since tuesday night, Im 14+6

GlastonburyGoddess · 14/01/2010 21:54

nope, thats wrong, im 14+3

WickedWitchSouthWest · 14/01/2010 22:26

berberis yes that was me, sorry should have warned you about the hippiness of it all Glad you've enjoyed it though!

chulita I've not been given a bounty pack this time, just the book with the voucher in it that you have to take to Boots to get the pack. For some reason I also have an Emma's Diary so there's another pack to collect Not to forget the Boots Parenting Club and any other free stuff I can get my mitts on!

I got my results of the downs screening last week - 1 in 10,000 which I'm happy with! Thats a lower risk than I had with dd which is odd but there you go! Hopefully Beanie is ok.

Wonderstuff · 14/01/2010 22:45

Hi all, good luck to all of you who seem to be embarking on knitting and crochet projects, I have a half finished cardigan I started when I was pg with dd! I didn't buy enough wool and when I got new it wasn't quite the right colour... size 3-6 months and she's now 2yo!! I think I'll try for a blanket this time, was something chilled to do when I was enormous and couldn't concentrate on anything at all.

My ms is better but still there, this morning I had a spliting headache eased by eating, which then made me feel queasy, have been being sick most evenings. I can't wait to be able to eat properly, and get rid of that horrid metal taste in my mouth. 6 months to go!

We moved just before Christmas - I moved in with my mum and left dh to it - he is fab, I was too sick to even go and look at the house before we signed the tenency agreement! DH was so nervous but I love our new house.

Chulita · 15/01/2010 08:21

glaston I don't know about a vbac, the mw seemed to say that they want me to try for one but that I'll probably end up with a cs anyway ... I'm all a bit confused about what to do.
My ms is still rubbish, DH lost patience with me this morning cos I was curled up in bed trying to pretend it wasn't morning and that DD hadn't done a huge poo in her nappy. I did get up and change her but I told him that I can't just get up and open up poo-filled nappies or I'd hurl!
wwsw that's great news!

beckyg123 · 15/01/2010 09:11

Just popped on quickly this morning - stac i called PRM this morning, they are trying to get enough women together to run the exercise class to will call me back next week to confirm. So hopefully there will be enough interest!

Off to a training course at work now.

Albrecht · 15/01/2010 11:11

Wicked, berberis Which yoga DVD is that?

WickedWitchSouthWest · 15/01/2010 11:31

morning all

my blood pressure is appalling, I keep going all funny

albrecht it's [[http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gaiam-Prenatal-Yoga-Shiva-Rea/dp/B0025MERGY/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=dvd&qid=1 263554890&sr=1-1 this] one. I did it all through pg with dd and I'm really enjoying it again It's good post natally too.

chulita hope the ms goes soon. I really wouldn't have coped with nappies and ms!

More good news today, my dd got into our first choice school! Her best friend did too so it's all good I'm deffo going to have to get a sling though, as the quickest route to the school is across a field!

WickedWitchSouthWest · 15/01/2010 11:31

Ive just watched one of the saddest films ever, what a mistake im now a big blubbering mess

violetbubbles · 15/01/2010 17:06

I've had some terrible headaches over the past week Winter. I normally have to turn off all of the lights, take two paracetamol and get DH to tap my head.

Stac & Becky - sorry for 'eavesdropping' on your conversation but I was just wondering where these exercises classes are that you've been talking about? I'm dying to get back to the gym and hope to start aqua natal classes at Bellahouston gym next Friday. I also start a pregnancy yoga class on Tuesday night in Pollokshields...

stac14 · 15/01/2010 17:49

violet they are ran through the princess royal, i can give you the number if you want? Defo going to try aquanatal at the swimming too, becky is it only aqua aerobics? Either way want to get into that.

tish i cry at the the least wee thing, last night it was friends lol xx

TishTosh21 · 15/01/2010 18:20

stac14 · 15/01/2010 20:52
