How have you all been? Seems like you have all been getting lovely new clothes and I havent even looked yet lol

When I went for my scan on Wednesday I asked if my EDD was correct and was promptly told that even if it was wrong they wouldnt change it, but when she did the measurements of babys head she said it was as it should in relation to my EDD. Dont get me wrong I was glad I wasnt put back but being put forward would have been great lol

I am with you all who are suffering ms, I am so fed up with it. Had a new kitchen and bathroom fitted and my house is a disgrace, first thing Monday I will be on the phone to the Clerk of Works. They have broke my settee by moving it so I am not a happy bunny.

My EDD was formerly 18 July, can't get used to it being 25th!

I have told nearly everyone I ever speak to off Facebook, if you see what I mean, but still need to tell the people like old school friends etc. Plus I know my mum/best friends etc are all dying to mention it on Facebook but are waiting for me to say something first!

Actually I think I will leave it until my scan on 21st as I have a choir committee meeting that evening and I am supposed to be organising a big event on 17 July and am going to tell them that evening that I may need some help... and some of the committee members are on Facebook.

Am I too late to join? Expecting DC2 on 7th July (original due date was 17th but after scan they changed the dates.)
DS is 2 in February so really challenging at the moment.

Just looked at the five day forcast and am really fed up - I have had enough cold and snow I want to get back to work - and more importantly get dd back to nursery. We have sheet ice on our roofs at school making the fire exits unsafe. Why can't we go back to the sixties when everyone walked to work and no one gave a shit about such minor health and safety concerns??

tsc how utterly shit for ur friend and all concerned. It does make u realize what a fragile thing this is that we are all going through. Dont be sorry for being miserable, its completly understandable.

We're not finding out what we're having so would only be buyng white and cream anyway. As ds is only 1 there's really not much to buy

tsc I really hope your friend gets the best possible scenario, what a horrid thing to have to go through. When we had dd the peadiatrition was concerned she had a syndrome as she had broad big toes, which can be a marker, thankfully he was wrong and she just had a dodgy gene which means she has an extra set of bones in her big toes, but those first few weeks, going to see all the specialists was very, very scary.

Got booking in appointment later and dh is making bacon sarnies, dd has woken in a better mood, and have mates coming over for dinner later - SWEET

Appointment was at 1, got moved to 3.15, saw the midwife at 3.40 finally got out at 4.40! Probably because of the snow
Did get to hear a heartbeat though which was really nice.

i've had a little mn break it happens occasionally!

I'll need to have a proper thread catch up but news my end is the bloody snow is doing my head in - dh is paranoid about me falling over which is fair enough since I'm very clumsy at the mo but I'm going to have to get dd to preschool somehow and driving is impossible - can't get the car off the drive! The pavements are just thick ice

Walking is knackering but I got to my mw appt and heard the heartbeat, loud and strong which was bliss to hear. Dd and Dh were in the room too and it seems to have made things more real for dd, she's spending alot of time kissing my tummy and "giving the baby a rub" which is dead cute

Hope everyone's scans are going well? I'm going to look at pics if I can see any! tsc I'm sorry your friend is having this scare

I've been so bored this weekend I might go and spend some money I don't have (skint after Christmas pay days another two weeks away) on some maternity gear. I got my skinny jeans on last night! Yay! But only cos they're so low they do up under my bump.

I have managed to resize my scan photo and its on now if anyone wants a peek, its a bit fuzzy though and the wrong way round, does anyone know if i can turn it around??
Im having a hormonaly imbalanced weekend and have been vile to husband. Just staying out of his way for a bit coz i cant help myself. Im also having a real issue with eating, i just cant do big meals, snacking is ok but not sure Im getting all the nutrients i need. Just feeling a bit fed up really, i want that uphoria back that I had on Wednesday after my scan!
I just feel like I want to sleep and eat all the time, oh well, im sure it will pass.

wm I'd love to have a doppler of my own but dh has put his foot down not fair!! I'm also so bored I want to spend money...we really don't have any since we paid the builders for doing the garage before Christmas! To turn it round you'll need to turn it in whatever picture editing software you have before you upload it here. I'm not really doing big meals either, nothing wrong in that but in the first trimester don't worry too much! Now I'm into the 2nd I'm paying a bit more attention to fruit and veg.

I've got two different EDDs and have been told I can use either

Don't worry viksam, am also having issues with food. Could hardly eat anything till couple of weeks ago and now can only manage certain foods. MW etc. said don't try to eat big meals, just little and often.

I'm doing ok with fruit and veg but not so well with protein, complex carbs and hardly any calcium etc. I'm trying not to get stressed about it as probably not going to help, just giving myself some time.

For me its not just fear of feeling sick but also choking as I had some pretty horrible experiences with wholemeal toast etc in the 1st trimester. [yuck face]

I am finding eating still an issue too, I really look forward to my dinner and then can't finish it, even though I am still hungry, as I feel physically full, if that makes sense?!!
