Hi there

I have been on the July thread, but it moves so fast and as I don't have time (or energy being so sleepy), I can't keep up with everyone who is on several times a day! If anyone else wants to join me in a slower thread to share how your pregnancy is developing, feel free!

Aww MrsC - pain/sickness when you have DC to look after is so tough isn't it

Hope you manage some rest later

Twittle · 30/07/2010 18:52

Thank You! MrsCyes w did have the same due date,I really hope that your baby arrives soon and that your pelvis will improve! Thanks Tabago the name came to us at the last minute! You are right they are worth it I just need to keep reminding myself of that at 3am in the morning after no sleep...... also think that my pelvic floor is shot to pieces - will it recover????

Good luck to those still waiting!

mrscrocoduck · 31/07/2010 13:04

i think it will recover twittle but it won't hurt to carry on with your pelvic floor exercises all the same!

Thanks gibbon! I can't wait for it to be over. The waiting is killing me.

Hi all, sorry i've not been on for a while...been busy with my new DD Isabella

She was born on 22nd July in a birthing pool, what an amazing experience! Fairly long labour (about 11 hours 'established' although started contractions 2 days before), and somehow got through it without gas & air or anything . She was a healthy 'little' thing at 8lbs 7oz...no wonder I felt so huge in the last few weeks!

BF going ok now, but was sooooo painful to start. We had a few days of feeding 14 times in 24 hours... anyway now she's down to 10-15 minute feeds 8-10 times a day, which aint so bad!

Hope everyone is enjoying their little ones, or enjoying the anticipation!!

mumwithbumandtum · 02/08/2010 20:45

Hello everyone! I've not been able to log in for a while, because little paddy wack hadn't realised that evenings are for mummy and daddy. Today is day two of training. (This involves lots of cuddling from about 6pm onwards in an attempt to get him to sleep by about 8!) He is very very sweet and I am finding it much easier second time round, coping with a newborn. This time it's so enjoyable, despite being totally sleep deprived. BF going well although he's a sicky baby so voms all over me / hair / pillowcases / sheets / crib, most of the time. But I love him all the more for this. GOOD LUCK Tobago and MrsC, I'm thinking of you and congrats everyone else who'se popped. MWB&T xx

mrscrocoduck · 04/08/2010 13:15

congrats Holly!

And well done mumwith... it sounds as though you're all loved-up over at your house!! He sounds adorable!

I'm 41 weeks today and still no sign of no.2.

Saw the midwife yesterday who sent me to hospital to cry over the antenatal staff until they agreed to book me in for an earlier induction. My SPD is bad still but hubby only has a couple of days holiday left so if he takes it now to help me out he won't get any at christmas....

So feeling a bit low. Can't leave the flat, toddler's playing up because she's so bored and I've no idea when we'll be meeting no.2.

At least I now have saturday to focus on as induction day

mrscrocoduck · 08/08/2010 13:08

baby Rosa is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 8lb 12, born friday at 5.43pm after a 2 hour labour and being told it was too late for an epidural!

Her bid sister adores her (a little too much at times!) as do we.

Am amazed at how relaxed I am second time round. Even walked the 15 min walk back from hospital pushing the pushchair yesterday!

Thanks for your encouragement, it meant a lot. This has been a great thread and I want to wish you all well in the coming months with your new additions. Grin

mumwithbumandtum · 24/08/2010 11:15

I had my first smile from Patrick! It's THE most gorgeous uplifting smile in the world (other than his big brothers')
MRS C - WOOP WOOOP! Well done you, 7 minutes hey!
Tobago - a complete family, you must be over the moon. I've got two boys and would LOVE (if I had the balls to do it again) a little girl next time.

I've loved this thread - I've been so grumpy on it and so happy on it and I think you're all amazing. XX
