I can not be pg as we decided to wait after all.

The program was good except the older couple had their 19 year old son in the room when she gave birth. That was a bit creepy.

essenceofSES · 10/02/2010 15:27

Hmm...Can't imagine I'd ever have anyone in the room where I'm giving birth unless it was DH or a HCP!
What channel was it on? I may try and catch it on iPlayer or something.

Afternoon everyone!

Busy day here, been to a mother and baby group near where I used to work and then "Tiny Talk" baby sign after wards.

Yes GC did have two pairs of cruisers but he grew out of them far too quick. He has some slipper tyoe moccassins now for when we are out and about but they arent that easy to walk in. At home he just wears socks with grips on or bare feet.

I saw that programme yesterday. I was absolutely apalled by the behaviour of the father and the 19 year old son just laughing at that poor woman while she was in labour and basically taunting her, I couldn't belive my eyes. Disgusting. I cannot believe anyone would want to be married to such a person. Absolutely no respect for his wife. There was a thread in chat about it last night, I think it annoyed quite a few people.

I am very broody DIEGE but will have to wait as I cannot have another child in this flat. I NEED a house. So if I dont get the doctorate I will be getting a job so we can sell this flat and buy a house.

Kayz - that does sound a bit odd re no ovulation and brown stuff. Hmmm....

Hello to everyone else

GruffaloSoldier · 10/02/2010 16:38

maxxymoosmummy · 10/02/2010 19:10

hi everyone, had a busy day here so only just managed to get on.
DS hasnt stopped walking all day, he even did it at the group i take him too theres deffinately no stopping him now
i went to the group 10 - 12, then came home and had lunch, then had my cousins partner round with there son so that him and max could have some time playin as they love it sooo much
then i had 2 friends round for a bru and chat, and then astly had DSs dad round for a bit but not long as DS was grumpy due to being tired and not havin a long nap as he usually does.
now sat relaxing and later going to have a nice bubble bath i think as off to DSs god fathers in the morning, ( bit nervous if you get me ) as i dnt really know him or his wife ) but they want to see DS as hey not seen him since the christening.

Kayzr · 10/02/2010 20:24

I dunno about the husband Gruff. The wife did say that they were always like that so I didn't mind him. DH was just like that when I was in labour with DS1. Apart from
when he was sleeping in the chair!!

The partner of the other woman was weird. He didn't seem remotely bothered about what was happening. He wouldn't even see the baby.

Sorry Ses hope I haven't ruined it for you.

maxxymoosmummy · 10/02/2010 20:28

i also thought it was wierd for her to have her son in the room when giving birth ... very odd of her.
and ye i thought the same about the other ladies partner, but maybe he wasnt wanting to until they could both go together ? or maybe he was jus shocked about the whole situation. i thought overall it was an ace documentary, and cant wait for next weeks.

largeginandtonic · 11/02/2010 07:12

I have it on sky plus. Am waiting for peace to watch it >

Kay what is happening with the period? Mine sometimes start of like that.

I have just stopped taking the mini pill, cerazette. I bled pretty much every day for 3 months. When i went back to the doc he said to take 2 a day. I still bled so have had enough. It was really bringing me down.

The trouble is now i will have a non hormone controlled period. They are crippling. Incredibly heavy and debilitating, lasting 110 days or so. I'm on the referral list. It will be a hyterectomy like my mum, her sister, my Nan

My little sis also suffers, it is so unfair. She is going to ttc dc1 as of Christmas

largeginandtonic · 11/02/2010 07:15

LOL 10 days not 110...

New thread needed.

largeginandtonic · 11/02/2010 07:24

new thread

Kayzr · 11/02/2010 07:26

LG&T, I have no idea at all. I don't think it is a period as mine normally start really heavy but this is just brown.

Where are we going to have our new thread? Are we staying here or going to post-natal as all the babies are here.
