More info about Evening Primrose Oil here

I'm happy to give anything a go so I'll get some tomorrow!

BexJ78 · 30/11/2009 21:40

Congrats Claire! Brill news.

madmissy · 30/11/2009 22:02

Well i've been taking it orally but just decided sod it i'll pop em in! Tmi alert!
Tricky to do and unless you are flexible i'd do it with a tampon like someone said on Another thread.. Anyhoo found cervix which surprisingly felt sure squidgy -told you tmi! Cut two capsules and popped them up as far as I could lol. Tricky as oil comes out fairly quick. I'm guessing that they will disolve just as they would if in your mouth etc? Anyway we will see lol.

biscuitsmustbedunkedintea · 30/11/2009 22:05

Many congrats Claire! Been waiting for your announcement, glad you have your newborn with you now. Hows DS with his little brother?

charleymouse · 30/11/2009 23:02

Hiya, congratulations on the new arrivals. Not be long everyone else. Hope everyone is okay.

DD2 is Harriet Elizabeth. Will post piccy on profile. Was weighed on Saturday and she has only lost 1 oz. She is breastfeeding like a dream. DD1 and DS are vying for her attention.

I am still all soppy babymooning.

Love all the names by the way.

Milliemuffin · 30/11/2009 23:08

Quick q - if u had a sister who couldn't get enough of your first pregnancy when she was single but this time round has a boyfriend but hasn't asked once how you and baby are since u told her u were pregnant, would u be annoyed or not?
She never visits anymore and asked me tonight what I'd bought ds for Xmas from her so I said I've bought nothing (all the texts I've received since sept have been about how great her new job is, Xmas hasn't been mentioned)! Would u accept her behaviour or is it just my hormones? She hasn't mentioned my pregnancy or asked how I am since I saw her in June yet with DS she was after regular updates and bought loads for him before he was born.

madmissy · 01/12/2009 08:16

Charley thats fab! how is it with 3??

Millie i think that its part your hormones and part her being tad selfish. things sound like they are going really well for her and shes probably overlooked you a bit. why not say something to her? are you normally quite close then? i am very close to my sisters.

sparklycheerymummy · 01/12/2009 09:04

Millie i would probably be a bit upset...... but then if she is happy then thats good..... a few of my friends have been like this and i have just got on with it after a few rantings to my dp!!!!!

sparklycheerymummy · 01/12/2009 10:36

Bloomin heck....... have just burnt my bump trying to iron in pyjamas that do not cover me up. Never mind the stretch marks I now have a nice horizontal line too!!!!! Am being awful and rude today and ignoring all my well meaning friends phonecalls!!!! In fact i put my headphones and MP wotsit player on!!!! Is anyone there..... am going out of my mind with impatience!!!! NOW 3 DAYS OVERDUE!!! Talk to me someone or i will eat all the crisps and biscuits in the house out of boredom!!!

biscuitsmustbedunkedintea · 01/12/2009 10:43

Sparkly - managed to burn my bump with the iron during both pregnancy's Easily done! Just embaressing explaining it to the midwife when she listens to baby heartbeat!

And eat the biscuits - it's not like you will get any chance to once baby comes along. Am currently sitting here with the custard creams within easy reach. Usually have to share with DD but as she's away at playschool...

sparklycheerymummy · 01/12/2009 10:51

I have custard creams, bourbons, choc chip cookies and nice biscuits, a pint of chocolate milkshake, 2 bags of crisps and my laptop..... what more do i need. My tummy is sore but have an aloe vera plant so am squidging some of that on it!!!

biscuitsmustbedunkedintea · 01/12/2009 11:08

Mmmm choc chip cookies and cold milk. Might have to nip to the shops..

Whens' your next midwife appointment sparkly? Is she going to do a sweep?

sparklycheerymummy · 01/12/2009 12:58

HI midwife tomorrow and she had better do a sweep or i will stay there and cry till she does!!!! HAve had rasp tea, clary sage bath and done some dancing round he house trying to get it going!!!!!

LaDiDaDi · 01/12/2009 12:59

Love the name Harriet Elizabeth!

Hope that you soon start to feel something going on in your tummy other than the burn sparkly, ouch.

Where are you all getting your nursing bras from? I've been in M&S and Mothercare today with no joy at all. I've got one hotmilk one which is ok, esp as it was only a tenner from BrandAlley, but the ones I've got from last time are too small. I need a 32D and I'm struggling to get the band to fit nicely, the cups to be ok at the front and yet not come right up into my armpits! Any ideas?

GoldenSnitch · 01/12/2009 13:11

Ah to have a choice! I was a 30G before I fell pregnant again - I'll be going to bravissimo as no-where else will have anything!

I was a 32DD before I had DS - getting quite nervous as to what I'll end up with after DD's done with them!

Bravissimo are very good at fitting though and I think they start their sizes at a D so they might be able to help?

Scorps · 01/12/2009 13:22

Can't help with bras as i have no boobs only go to very max a C with full milk boobs... so i do hotmilk or mothercare. M&S do nursing bras, HotMilk go to a D/DD but i find them smally cut so maybe order your sixe and then next up.

36+4 here, slowly starting to have enough, but keep thinking she should come in 2-3 weeks and that seems like no time at all!

sparklycheerymummy · 01/12/2009 13:32

i got two for a fiver from sainsburys

Moosy · 01/12/2009 14:44

I'm no help with nursing bras either as I also have no boobs still have the ones left from when I had DD1 4 years ago and they're M&S uglies.

I have 5 days to go and am all of a sudden thoroughly fed up. I burst into tears last night for no reason and sobbed at DH that I want to thin agaaaaaaaaaaaain, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaail! MW appointment tomorrow so I'll ask her to do a sweep as soon as I'm overdue.

Scorps · 01/12/2009 14:46

My friend has boobs and swears by Anita nursing bras, they're underwired too.

Moosy you will be thin again, soon. Miserable those last few days are.

OP posts:
LaDiDaDi · 01/12/2009 15:37

I looked at the Anita ones online but they are expensive. I've ordered 4 from figleaves, hope at least one style is ok.

Scorps · 01/12/2009 16:13

Ebay? or post on here asking maybe?

madmissy · 01/12/2009 17:09

did the dancing work sparkly?

BexJ78 · 01/12/2009 17:57

Have finished my xmas shopping!! hoorah! am totally knackered now thought. Seeing midwife on friday, counting down the days...hope she might book me in for a sweep early next week as due date is this sat!

GoldenSnitch · 01/12/2009 21:35

I get my Placenta scan tomorrow - wish me luck that it's moved out of the way...

I need it to have moved up. If it's stayed where it is then my ELCS will be a nightmare as they'll have to cut through it. If it's moved down, it'll be a placenta previa and the last consultant I saw said they'd likely admit me!!

I cannot do 3 weeks in hospital away from DS and trying to sleep on the ward!

BexJ78 · 01/12/2009 21:46

Oh hope it all goes well for you! Fingers crossed!

Bloody families...my dad has just called and told me that he and his wife (my step-mother) are going on a cruise over christmas, from 18th Dec until new year...so his first grand child might not have even arrived before he goes off on his jollies!!! Am a bit peeved about it to be honest.
