I got my BFP yesterday, AF not due til Sunday Tested again this morning just to make sure I didn't dream it.

Have been very sick already which is what prompted me to test, also very very tired.

Looking forward to seeing other people on this exciting journey

Good knows what happened to the paragraphs on that last post. That was not the way I typed it!

BigMomma3 · 25/11/2009 11:23

God knows not Good knows - will give up now!

Bouncingblueberries #2: 2nd Aug
BigMomma #4: 2nd Aug

Kaylo, I'm not as bad as you but similary queesy in the morning (about 45 minutes after getting up) and then ok until mid/late afternoon. I'm also really badly constipated and have been reading all sorts of nasty things about heamorroids (no idea how to spell that - sorry) in pregnancy which are freaking me out!

Vino, I really hope the time passes quickly until your early scan so you can relax.

bouncingblueberries · 25/11/2009 13:38

Oh BigMomma3 we're the same EDD - snap!

I just did a ClearBlue digital (I know, I'm totally crazy insane, but just wanted to see the word Pregnant ) and it said Pregnant 1-2 weeks. Had hoped to be nudging 2-3 weeks to soothe my paranoia, but I'll just have to be patient I guess.

Well, I survived the dentist (just). Now have a lovely white filling , a frozen mouth and a lighter purse.

Hey ho. Booked appointment to see GP tomorrow to get the ball rolling. Wondering on what grounds I can beg for an early scan? To avoid further excessive POAS behaviour?????

KayloHalo · 25/11/2009 16:55

Hello all....

Thanks to my annoying (but welcome) morning sickness the whole of my workplace knows about my pregnancy . Because I keep having to put my clients on hold (I work in a call centre) and go throw up! Nice.
Feel horrible today, tummy so bloated I can't fasten them properly.

Please let the next couple of weeks fly by so I can have my early scan. Have been having pains in my right side and don't know whether it's because of the sickness of possible ectopic. So they're not arguing with me on my scan request

BouncingBlueberries Glad it went ok at the dentist...shame you couldnt hold out a little longer as dental treatment is free in pregnancy.

Aussie I love lists too

BigMomma CB showing 3+? You must have a lotta pg hormones in you. Mine showing 2-3 which is about right and my last AF was 24th Oct.

Be Restful everyone - we're growing new people

xxx

KayloHalo · 25/11/2009 16:56

sorry - should have said or possible ectopic.

vinocollapso · 25/11/2009 19:24

Welcome BigMomma - nice to meet you and good luck - twins, huh? Whoa!

Aussieng - I've been a bit constipated, too, drinking water seems to help, not that we need to wee even more than usual! How you feeling otherwise? Try and go with flow, if you can, ho ho.

Bouncingblueberries - have you had your pack from the doctor's yet with your form for the maternity exemption card thingy? KayloHalo is right, as treatment is free! Get it in the post, sister! As for scans, I think we'll just have to hang on in there until we're allowed a scan!

KayloHalo - you poor thing, that's really grim. I guess at least it's out in the open now. And your trousers are tight - that's a good sign, too? An excuse to shop, hurrah.

Is it bedtime yet?

xx

bouncingblueberries · 25/11/2009 20:03

Evening ladies

Poor Kaylo - morning sickness is no fun.

vino I know! But I haven't even been to gp yet, so I just had to suck it up! Plenty of time for free treatment I reckon.

Anyhoo, after all your reports of 3+ and 2-3 weeks on CB digi tests, I'm now convinced I'm totally deluding myself and not really preggers at all. Feck feck feck. Promised myself I wouldn't turn all crazy-pregnant-lady this time round. Oops too late.

I'm still tired and seem to have enhanced sense of smell, but no other symptoms (other than lack of menstruation of course!). oh my god, maybe I'm menopausal . FLippin nora, there I go again.

Somebody smack me. The test were positive. I know they were. Have faith woman.

Sheesh. Off for a hot chocolate and to calm down a bit. It's hard work being only a teensy bit preggers!

Chulita · 25/11/2009 21:47

bouncingb - if you come on here in a week's time lamenting the amount of vomiting you're doing I will laugh. Sorry but I will...I'm waiting for the ms to kick in but still can't believe I'm pg either with no symptoms other than bloated belly and constant munchies (unless one is causing the other )
I'm kind of putting off going to the GPs so when they say how many weeks they reckon I am I can be all surprised We've only got male doctors here and certain things I don't want them doing...not sure what to do if I get any complications that involve poking...

vinocollapso · 26/11/2009 07:38

Bouncingb - I'm the same - asides from being tired and rock hard boobs, I feel the same. Seems like Chulita is in the same boat!

Only another couple of weeks and we can have an early scan and then we'll know for sure we're not imagining it.

What are the chances we look back on this in a year's time and wonder what the hell we were worrying about?

Have lovely days everyone. xx

Chulita · 26/11/2009 07:46

My boobs haven't changed at all since stopping bfing DD they've been saggy and horrible and being supposedly pg hasn't given them a boost at all! Roll on scan time!

bouncingblueberries · 26/11/2009 08:53

chulita you have every right to wet your pants laughing at me next week if I do that

vino glad you're in the same boat, in a weird sort of way. The lack of symptoms is freaking me out (no, really! Can you not tell ). So much so that I went and bought ANOTHER CB digital this morning on my way to work. I'm relieved to tell you all that the display now reads PREGNANT 2-3 WEEKS. Woop woop! AND YIPPIDEE DOO DAH! I see that as progress and feel I can be a little less bonkers about the whole thing.

Off to see the GP tonight. Will let you know how I get on.

Right, better hide this pregger test. Last thing I need is it falling out of my bag in front of my director of something stupid

Have a good day y'all

bouncingblueberries · 26/11/2009 08:55

Oh, my boobs haven't changed either. Not a tingle at all, no swelling and certainly no hardness! Jut same old saggy sacks.

(my, I really do paint such a darling picture of myself don't I)

KayloHalo · 26/11/2009 09:09

Good Morning Girls, how are we all feeling today?

BouncingBluberries I'm glad your CBD changed for you it's always reassuring isn't it? I've got one left to do next week to see if it goes to 3+

Chulita I think boobies have a ind of their own after bf'ing, I only bf ds for 3 months but they took months and months to get back to their perky state.

Is anyone having major drains on energy, I can't seem to make my body function right, my head feels kinda foggy and my ears kind of feel stuffed with cotton wool. I didn't feel like this until waaaaay into 1st trimester with ds and ds. On the plus side, I managed to wash up this morning (by hand - yuk!) without actually being sick just heaving - it was only a cup and 3 cereal bowls tho

Love and sticky baby dust to everyone

AmazingBouncingFerret · 26/11/2009 09:17

Hello everyone!
Sorry im not due in August, infact I only have 15 days to go till EDD I just couldnt help clicking on and having a nosy because I just cant believe its been almost 9 months from when I was in exactly the same position.
Good Luck with your pregnancies ladies, hope you all have good ones!

Chulita · 26/11/2009 09:21

Ooh! amazingferret, good luck! Hope your little one turns up on time!
bouncingb, your name reminds me of that old Batman series, I keep imagining Robin saying 'bouncing blueberries Batman'
Hooray for no vomiting for kaylo, long may it last!

Aussieng · 26/11/2009 11:05

Morning all - hope you're all doing well today?

Thanks Vino - I'm upping my water intake and DP is getting me some ban flakes!

Been to the Docs (she is so lovely) and very congratulatory. Said she loves it when people get pregnant naturally just as they're starting fertility treatment. Felt really nice to tell someone and have them react ao nicely!

I said I wanted to leave seeing the midwife for a few weeks since I figure that if something is going to go wrong it will go wrong in the next few weeks so no point getting carried away with the whole thing before then. She told me that I will defo be given a NT scan when the time comes (being ancient and all ) which also puts my mind at rest. Then it turns out that I can't get into see the midwife until 23 December anyway! If that is a sign of things to come with my local NHS trust

Still I figure that this means that I may as well start my Christmas break on 22 December so it is all good

I'll possibly be a little quiet over the next few weeks as last pregnancy ended in a mc so feeling a little nervous!

Aussie I think I may feel a little sicky today but don't know if I'm imagining it!! For the first time in my life I have been a little constipated over the last few days, porridge and lots of fruit seem to help a little.

BigMomma Hope you get your early scan, been too scared to use a clear blue digital in case the weeks haven't increased!

KayloHalo sorry you're feeling so rough, I'm hoping to hide it from work for as long as possible.

bouncingb I've been wondering if I imagined the 2nd line as I keep feeling ok - no change in my boobs either!!

Chulita I'm putting off the GP also, silly really but my mc started the day after I saw him last time so worried I'll jinx it

Vinocollapso I'm hoping to go for a early scan too, but guess I'll need to see the GP first!

vinocollapso · 26/11/2009 14:38

Hey there JamieJay - welcome.

My last (and my first) pg also eneded in m/c at 11 weeks in July - so you're amongst friends. I'm so sporry to hear it happened to you, too, and hope you're all ok now.

I'm also very anxious and checking (and double checking) every sympton (or lack of it) every 5 minutes, so don't worry if you do the same. Thank you god this forum is here, that's all I can say.

And thanks, Amazingbouncingferet - lovely words, there. Good luck with your labour!

KayloHalo · 26/11/2009 16:11

Heartburn......ouch!!!!

Welcome JamieJay, you are definitely amongst friends - I too had a m/c in September

Can't stay on as I'm at work and bosses won't like it.

Love to all xxx

vinocollapso · 26/11/2009 18:43

I seem to have posted twice...duh.

Kaylohalo - you have heartburn? poor you, hope that goes.

Does anyone else have no appetite? I'm just not bothered about dinner. Breakfast, hell yeah, lunch, sort of - and then I'm done. Weird.

I am enjoying a Becks Blue though right now. I'm not missing drink, but god I'm fed up of sweet drinks!

xx

Chulita · 26/11/2009 20:01

Welcome JamieJay!
I sort of have an appetite but feel permanently full. I have the munchies big style but as soon as anything crosses my lips I feel bloated and fat...very odd. I feel like I've been eating all day but when I think back to what I've actually eaten it's the same as ever. Being pg proper messes with your head!

I am feeling really tired, boobs hurt me everyday and seems to get worse as the days go by, peeing every 45mins-1hr at work sure they will all suss what is going on with me before I announce my news! Feel a bit sicky in the evenings as I am driving home but, once I have something to eat I am ok again. I went to my Dr's on Tues and I am getting an early scan due to my 2 previous m/c's. Hope everyone is doing well today.
