I got my BFP yesterday, AF not due til Sunday Tested again this morning just to make sure I didn't dream it.

Have been very sick already which is what prompted me to test, also very very tired.

hey!

hope your all well today, well what's left of it anyway. I slept in till 12 today and was STILL tired! strange dreams including breast-feeding my friend's baby, cripes!!! what a strange girl I am.

still no sickeness.. phew but still quesy every so often.

Was chatting to my friend who is 8 weeks today (2 weeks ahead of me!!), she's going for an early scan at 9 weeks as she did with her first.... still haven't told her about my news, was hoping to wait till my scan but feeling guilty that i know about her pregnancy but she doesn't know about mine, what do you think laides, should I tell?

The list of people that know is getting longer.. hope I don't blab to many more people or there will be no-one left to tell by 13 weeks!

totally relate to the clear blue testers, was thinking about that myself but luckily have none left - phew, just don't feel very pregnant! but I'm sure my day will come when I feel rubbish and wish I hadn't said that! Got my bio-oil yesterday so rubbing that in morning and night, does anyone know if it's any good?

Any other scottish lassies out there??

Back to work tomorrow, actually quite glad as I need to get back to some sort of routine and stop slobbing about!

Happy New Year everyone! Welcome newbies!

The thought that (crossing everything...er, well until the due date ) I will have a baby this year has made this one of the nicest back-to-work mondays ever. I usually dread going back to work after a holiday but nothing seems too bad these days .

I am 8+6 and apart from sore boobs and occasional retching I feel absolutely fine which I know is a blessing but as someone already said, the grass is always greener and I would like to have a few more symptoms (or at least an excuse to scoff a few big macs!) to convince myself that there is actually a baby in there (and not a giant dust bunny or something!).

Have bought my gym kit to work today and am going to try and make a dent in the mince pies. Its so cold though the thought of changing into my gym kit is making me want to clutch my freezing nipples!

Back to work today.....started at 7.45 which was a challenge! Childminding has its blessings being at home although I am struggling with nappy changes. I worked next to the Old Bailey London when I had DD1 and commuting everyday was horrendous, I gave up with Thameslink (now first capital connect) in the end and used to walk along the Thames instead which did help with the nausea but was absolutely knackering, especially in the searing heat of July 06! Wonder if it will be a hot summer for our bumps?

hope you're all well. first day back at work for me too..it's a nice rest after a few weeks with very tempermental/busy 2 year old DD.
Feeling very sick though- and crystalised ginger is foul!!! Must get those seabands...do they work?
Is anyone else coming up 10 weeks and still waiting for their booking in apt? I can't remember the drill but the docs keep telling me i have to wait for an apt from the hosp and they do it with the 12 week scan..?? I'm sure that's not what happened last time, and dont entirely trust my docs 'lovely' receptionists....

Allthe8s July 06 was horrendous wasn't it??? Right in the middle of heat wave.
DS was born at 13:54pm on 3rd July. 8lbs 6oz.

Dreading SPD attacking me again cos it was just horrendous with ds.

According to some of the internet reports I've read they're forcasting another hot one. We know how to pick em eh?

I am SO annoyed with my employer right now!!

I told them today that I will need the afternoon off on Thursday 7th as dh has a very important medical appointment he must attend but the test has to be performed under sedation so he will need me to drive him and back, as well as sign his paperwork etc.

They have come back today today and said it just can't be done. Why? Because we are at full capacity for holiday leave.

It's January for christs sake. And it's such an important appointment that he's had to wait 3years for.

I'm sorry to vent but this has just wound me right up!

oooh DriedApricots Thats a good idea but now that they know about the appointment I think they may not believe me.

To make someones name bold you need to put a * at either side of their name, not leaving spaces between. If you look above where the smiley commands are at the bottom it shows you all different tricks you can do with words

KayloHalo My goodness another hot one - at least my maternity clothes will fit me at the same time as when I was pg with dd1......so hot I spent most of July in a dark room with 2 fans on me just laying gasping for breath!

driedapricots The Seabands are working like a miracle for me, seriously! I wear mine 24/7 and whenever I have taken them off I feel sick within half an hour so I would highly recommend them.

thanks vix206!!! Also sniffing hand sanitizing gel helped but i did get funny looks when i went to docs and hospital and kept sniffing it!!! have fun ladies. my 3 week old ds has a cough and cold so no sleep for me!!!!
