I'll leave that honour to our Curly who is a bit of a whiz with thread titles!

Do you think VAG knows there is a PESH thread? She must shirley!

CUNextTuesday · 13/01/2010 12:45

Hello all.

I'm stuffing my face with Thorntons chocs in celebration at hearing Rastus's heartbeat for the first time this morning at my a/n appt. Midwife said it was nice and strong for such a little scrap, 150 bpm - 10 more bpm and we could have been ravin'

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 13/01/2010 12:45

Pah, of course I know where you lot are, you're in the next door Palace with spa and naked waiters.

I'll be along when I get my head round it all, I promise. Meanwhile, here's a crate of Bolly and some curly straws.

givecarrotsachance · 13/01/2010 13:17

Ooh my second fav (if you've got a bottle of Taittinger instead? No? Rude to say so? Sorry.).

WAAAHAY for VAG!!!! Welcome!!!!

skihorse · 13/01/2010 19:20

VAG The man from CBD, he say how diffed are you?

I've just run in to Aussieng on the "slow July" thread - anyone else remember her from the Palace? She's also due July 20th! My god was halloween busy for us!

CurlyCasper · 13/01/2010 19:35

Well, it was SFF's birthday! (although I'm pretty sure the deed that did it for us was about 28/10)
I've escaped freezing cold village hall and am now cooking chips, with plan to add cheese. Dog curled up at my feet - Bliss!

Cosmosis · 13/01/2010 21:21

mmmmm cheesy chips you classy bird!

BTW curls I downloaded that nhs desktop thingy you recommended, ta, is ace.

CurlyCasper · 14/01/2010 06:41

thought i'd come online cause stomach a bit off and I think it's going to take half hour to eat my cornflakes

Cheers cos but I cannot take the credit. That was cunty's recommendation. How you feeling anyway?

vag hope you'll join us properly today.

CurlyCasper · 14/01/2010 06:51

ski Thanks for the flattery but I fear my skills have been numbed in the cold

The PESH Deli - delighted to be diffed but far from blooming

PESH - It's our deli and we'll whinge if we want to

30s Differs - it's all a pile of PESH

The PESH Deli - where former Gin drinkers get their virtual kicks.

The PESH Deli - The drinks might be virginal, but that's about all...

While I'm thinking of these, I realise there is a seriouS lack of male talent in the deli. Can someone please rectify???

iggypiggy · 14/01/2010 10:21

Can't believed I missed VAG's diffed news - YAY for VAG

Plus annuva lunduner wot is diffed is excellent news!

I am ill - so please to leave me in a corner to mope and grumble about lack for drugs available...

CurlyCasper · 14/01/2010 10:40

Don't hide to mope iggs - I didn't! What appears to be the problem?

I have agony belly today which feels part muscular (am I popping?) and part wind

Come out vag we know you are hiding here somewhere...

iggypiggy · 14/01/2010 10:52

is only a stupid cold... but was all shivery and hot yesterday and muchly headachey - and now am just rubbish..

Also feel bit sick.

cas agony is not good

skihorse · 14/01/2010 11:06

Poor igger Did you see btw on babynames someone has named their child iggy fo shiz? They're looking for a sibling name... dare we suggest piggy?

Curly I like the two PESH ones - I think we need to keep it easy for BESHies to find us.

I pulled a 12 hour day yesterday so my manager suggested I have a late start today. Note to you lot - when having a late start, get up at the normal time and eat otherwise your late start will be ruined by much porcelein staring. I have an appointment tomorrow at the doc to demand drugs.

iggypiggy · 14/01/2010 11:11

Iggy????? That is nuts - although the name does come from a human called Ignatius, originally... (Ie. I named my pet after a person)..

Piggy good option for sibling...

ski good news bout the drugs...

CurlyCasper · 14/01/2010 11:15

go kick Dr butt ski. Hope you full better soon and LOL and using iggy in RL!

iggy please to be careful. It was the cold and lack of drugs that landed me with sinusitis. Might I recommended the miracle cure recommended to me by both scorps and a 2 x preggo colleague: Sterimar Nasal Spray. If used during cold, it keeps sinuses clean and prevents trouble. BTW, I am trying to do work for the summer version of the event at which our fateful meeting took place. A few hundred pointless words...several times over. YAWN!

ski I am confuddled (easily done). All five say PESH somewhere. But better suggestions would be very much welcome.

iggypiggy · 14/01/2010 11:22

cas we is not entering those ones I don't fink... well - I'd only have to write something if we were... bugger - I fink I should..

Am off to chemist at lunch with shopping list of sterimar nasal spray and cold strips for head then

skihorse · 14/01/2010 11:24

Curly Clearly it is not you who is befuzzled but I. I may or may not turn my brain on at some point today.

Right then, having re-read - it's 1, 4 and 5 for me.

iggy Ignatius is an awesome name for a child but I'm wondering should jailbait and I ever move to Glasgow - how many times a day poor Iggy would be beaten up by his school pals!

I should pick the brains of you two anyway - I've just been asked to handle comms for the entire country. I was thinking of throwing in acronyms to confuse the masses. E.g., "For Q2 we see increased revenues for POAS and with summer holidays approaching there will be further pressure upon 2WOOFL."

CurlyCasper · 14/01/2010 11:32

ROFL at image of computer geeks struggling to work out 2WOOFL!

R2D2 would really mess with their brains...

Don't ask me ski, I only have a fancy job title . But if you do actually have any Qs, send them to t'uther place and I shall astound you with my ignorance.

Happy shopping iggy. And about the summer, we'll never make it. and if we do I doubt I will, it being a month shy of my EDD. And we could have bumped bumps as well...

iggypiggy · 14/01/2010 11:33

ski I'm not sure I have much brain left to pick... but you iz welcome to it... Acronyms, random swear words and star wars droid references should keep everyone on their toes..

I am liking the name Ignatius too - in a comedy way... Although probably would be a bully magnet...

skihorse · 14/01/2010 11:34

If you two bumped bumps an area the size of the Sahara would become babydust.

givecarrotsachance · 14/01/2010 11:35

ski that's when it gets me, found out last weekend after a late morning. Laid moaning in bed while YOB made me some toast. and

OP posts:
iggypiggy · 14/01/2010 11:36

ski men near to us would become updiffed too

x-posted cas 17 june - I suspect I would not be fancying an evening of 'entertainment' - shame tho...

Aussieng · 14/01/2010 12:20

Hi everyone. Some of you may remember me as I was on the BESH threads a long long time ago. I just switched onto the July ante-natal thread (was August but redated) and bumped into Ski. I'm due on 20 July and understand that I'm in good company here. Anyway I just wanted to pop along and say congrats to you all (didn't we oldies do good) and esp to VAG on the recent good news (also a healthy dose of commiseration if you soon feel anything like I have for the past 8 weeks). I always found you guys impossible to keep up with but hope you don't mind me lurking around here a bit - I still find the open discussion and lack of "TMI's" very refreshing....

skihorse · 14/01/2010 12:35

Aussieng Welcome and glad you found us, however you've broken the thread (we're full) so Curly's going to start a new one I think, so stand by for the next PESH thread.

Yes, didn't we do well. Also carrots is the only one who hasn't had hideous sickness, this is because she lied to get membership and is actually only 14 years old. Cunty lost weight too. You bitches.

We are still doing non-TMI stuff but there is a lot of denial going on wrt y'know... the birth.
