scan-tastic!

Please share any news asap as I'm going out of my mind with boredom. My next scan not till the 7th - two days after my birthday...

skihorse · 22/12/2009 14:06

Back home with 2 essential baybee purchases: chocolate covered banana chips and a size up in pyjama bottoms - I just can't tolerate ANYTHING pressure-wise on my waist right now. Or possibly ever again...

Went to a department store and went a bit ga-ga over the Miffy stuff - especially as a load of it was in the sale - winter coats for 19 euros, little dresses for 5 euros etc., etc. But I just feel a bit too superstitious about buying anything yet... perhaps after the scan.

CurlyCasper · 22/12/2009 14:15

those PJs sound good ski. I'm exactly the same. Now I know why preggos end up in dungarees!

skihorse · 22/12/2009 14:16

Oh Curly - I've not gone that far although now the seed is planted...

givecarrotsachance · 22/12/2009 15:25

GOT to see a photo of ski in dungarees (and no, skiing salopettes don't count).

Turns out figleaves has a maternity range...

CurlyCasper · 22/12/2009 15:27

Tried going on there earlier through Kidstart - ended up with a Boots website. Might try again now.

I want dungers!

CurlyCasper · 22/12/2009 15:29

OK, seriously, that ensemble on the front page of the fig leaves maternity section seems a bit unrealistic to me. Surely the sexy stocking and suspenders phase is over now that we've got pregnant?

givecarrotsachance · 22/12/2009 16:38

Speak for yourself little ghosty laydee.

OK, ok, so I'm not feeling totally sexy, even fatter than normal, farty, sicky and generally knackered, but if I can't keep up a fantasy here, where can I? There's none going on in the rots bedroom, I can tell ye.

skihorse · 22/12/2009 16:56

I think I'm already halfway to dungarees - I've been buying very stretchy boxer shorts which currently come up to my bra... but give loads of support. I do fear however that my sex-kitten crown may have slipped.

Curly Yes... I was in a lingerie shop today (pj bottoms) and the "sexy" bras are in a cup size I probably couldn't squeeze my nips in to. Jailbait was muttering about stockings fgs.

carrots OK, let's all have hot dress-up sexy sex within the confines of the palace.

skihorse · 22/12/2009 17:16

Can any of the diffo experts (e.g., carrots/ponymum/ginhag) help me out? I've been having these palpitations and as far as I can make out it could be any one of:

i) anaemia
ii) low blood pressure
iii) just the increased blood supply

Do any of you have any experience with these? I've always had low blood pressure... being fat, smoking and on the pill just about brought my blood pressure in to "normal" zones!

Cosmosis · 22/12/2009 21:43

Oooh get me! posting from home!

CurlyCasper · 22/12/2009 21:53

givecarrotsachance · 23/12/2009 10:40

ski I have no idea - no experience of this within pregnancy, but I would recommend getting it checked out.
