... and as I correctly guessed, carrots can't be homophobic because she's a big, fat, pregnant lesbot.

carrots As I ran my bath this morning I heard a call from the bedroom "Have you got your thermometer?"

Last xmas we skiied and I rode the hoss. This xmas I'm planning on a lot of lying down on the sofa.

iggypiggy · 02/12/2009 10:20

rots iz obvious you is both joking

ski thank you I see your 9pm to bed and i raise you my 7.45pm

givecarrotsachance · 02/12/2009 10:28

Lovely sick ladies, I nearly stood on fancy person's toes when walking backwards out of a room. Spun round, came face to face and muttered many apologies while my boss half smirked half scorned in background , but otherwise was good. Highlight of day remains the buffet, and fun chats with men wearing ear pieces (some who are used to it, some doing it for the first time and pretending to be an important n stuff ). Now wrestling with all the follow-up work

Christmas? Hoping to be spoilt because by then the other 11 or so people that will be squished into IL's house will know I'm diffed. Have 10 days off (first long-ish Christmas break in yeeeeeaaarrrrss!) and plan to veg on sofa for much of it!

givecarrotsachance · 02/12/2009 11:14

cassie Very at you treading on one's toes. Tee hee .

Glad it all went ok though - you can relax a bit now and look forward to the break. Just another 3 weeks and I can do nothing for just long enough to be nearly at 12 weeks. Hurrah!

My German friend whom we shall call Brigitte - for that is her name... told me that she had terrible ms but found relief through constantly eating/drinking. Riiiiight B... I would put on 5 stone doing that.

She is 5'11" and gets very upset if she goes over 8st 7lbs - very heffalumpy. She's had 2 kids and has a belly like a pancake and NO stretchmarks. Freak of nature. But gave jailbait a waffel machine so in his eyes she really is a goddess.

CurlyCasper · 02/12/2009 15:07

I thinks that might be why i have no ms. I never let myself get hungry! Used to have the metabolism for it - but alas no longer. I now have a food-baby amassing in my belly. With enough layers it starts to resemble a baby bump. But I know 'tis simply fat

Now, where's that chocolate bar?

givecarrotsachance · 02/12/2009 15:21

ski I'm not being judgemental but I don't like Brigitte. You also forgot to say I'm black and have a wooden leg.

Hope you didn't boil the bean, and if you did, remember to add butter.

cunty Hurrah! Good to see you. What did you choose?

iggy Woz a bit miffed about it as you would imagine, but they's the ignorant ones. Still, I was putting across my point of view (well it WAS AIBU) which may have been kontravershall.

cassie I NEVER had an all-you-can-eat metabolism. that you had it ever!!

Ooooh I just worked out why I'm feeling sick and dizzy. Nothing to do with MS, entirely to do with trying to conduct a multi-part conversation with yoos lot.

Pasta n sauce. And I took the taste away with a big box of maltesers

CurlyCasper · 02/12/2009 16:20

for me it was a toss-up between 'teasers and a Drifter. The Drifter won, nom nom nom....
Someone save me, I'm going to the supermarket after work and might have to eat EVERYTHING!

skihorse · 02/12/2009 16:53

carrots Take up skiing, when I ski I do have that metabolism.

Just to make you hate Brigitte more, when I told her I was having troubles TTC she was blank-faced because she fell 1st time both times. I have a question actually that maybe you guys can help with in the other place - it's about her dastardly Mancunian ex-husband who beat her...

skihorse · 02/12/2009 16:53

PS her first job when she moved to England was selling clothes to transvestites!

givecarrotsachance · 03/12/2009 09:54

ski I can't see the question in the other place...

But love the tranvestites job! Almost as good as the prossie receptionist

How're you all today? Me = horribly icky. Hope homeopath can help. Will report back.

Thank goodness today's last day at work this week. I'm KNACKERED.

OP posts:
skihorse · 03/12/2009 10:13

carrots I've put it in the legal section here because in the other place you're probably the only one with any experience on the matter...

Actually I feel quite a lot better - so I'm assuming bambino has died.

givecarrotsachance · 03/12/2009 10:48

ski I'll try to take a look.

Fuckin' bambinos. I can see why people only have one child. Glad you're feeling better today.

Trying NOT to take this out on carrotseed but frankly at the moment I'm wondering how I can get through. Oh pathetic little self-pitying twat I am. This is mild MS - no puking - no hyperem - people would chop off their own arm to have what I have - either those who are suffering more badly, or those who want to be diffed. I just feel sick All The Time and I want to sleep So Much.

Please just ignore me. I'm just venting here as I've nowhere else to vent. Poor YOB feels he can't do anything, which he can't, although he's running around looking after me where he can which is soooo nice.

Looking forward to speaking to homeopath. Need focus. Want to sleep.

Had a dream about the Lloyds TSB being diffed last night. It was something like a radio announcement that "The Lloyds TSB is delighted to announce its up-diffment".

I also dreamt about David Cameron and woke up to Peter Mandleson on the radio so it wasn't all good.

Peter Mandleson - no wonder I have MS. Slimy, toady little dog poo crappy slimy toady man. Yuck. But then Jim Naughty called him "Poobah" which cheered me up no end. The other presenter couldn't stop laughing.

SFF asked last night if I like being pregnant. Erm, let me think. I'm happy to be having a baby. But if you mean do I like having no energy, itching all over, feeling yuckey, being bloated, burping and peeing non stop and generally resembling a useless lump of poo, then no, my dear, I do not much like it.

He wants at least two kids. I had to grit my teeth and very sternly tell him "let's just deal with this one first". Men, meh!

givecarrotsachance · 03/12/2009 11:46

@ SFF

Bless.

OP posts:
iggypiggy · 03/12/2009 11:53

hmmm... last time I hated being pregnant - alot...

This time I am so fucking grateful to have another chance I don't care how I feel - am sure it will be worth it. In fact i am pleased to feel bad - cos I feel is a better sign.

But I sadly feel a bit better today...

CurlyCasper · 03/12/2009 12:02

I know what you mean iggy.

It's a case of being bloody grateful to be pregnant, and not wanting to temp fate by complaining about feeling shite. But he did ask...

Here's hoping for double heartbeat news on Monday.

CurlyCasper · 03/12/2009 12:02

dont't mean twins BTW, mean me and iggs

givecarrotsachance · 03/12/2009 12:07

cassie iggy I know, that's what I'm thinking.

On the other hand, I've decided that complaining about feeling shit is just that - complaining about feeling shit. It certainly doesn't mean I'm not grateful to be pregnant, which I am. At the beginning I was really chirpy about feeling sick but now it's getting soooo much worse and it's wearing me down, I'm going to bloody complain about it, and that's all there is to it. So there.

But I am VERY grateful to be pregnant.

OP posts:
skihorse · 03/12/2009 14:22

carrots I totally understand - and I even now understand the thread on Pregnancy a few weeks ago which asked if anyone had terminated due to chronic ms. I know we shouldn't complain but it's totally debilitating.

I now find my once loved Ginger absolutely disgusting and can only tolerate it in my mouth for a second or two before spitting it out.

Moan, moan, gripe, gripe, moan. Etc.

Just told my manager that post-partum I'm going back to work ft and jailbait will be wearing a pair of fake boobs and sat on the sofa with PND. She is absolutely delighted. There is a woman here who has 2 kids and her husband is house-husband, you should hear the bitching... Worst from the women.

iggypiggy · 03/12/2009 14:37

ski you suck your horse
