iggy As if you don't stick your face right in iggy's neck and inhale all his poniez goodness!

givecarrotsachance · 03/12/2009 14:46

ski Poor Ginger. At least she gets a break from being chewed on. Don't you get hairs stuck in the back of your throat?

at termination. Bit extreme, but then MS is HORRIBLE.

Feeling much better this arvo. Got myself a packet of ginger bics and am slowly fatting myself to death.

ski if I do that he grabs my ponytail and pulls - he is obsessed with getting things in his mouth - ooh err

skihorse · 03/12/2009 14:52

carrots oh that was for the hypereeeeeeminninmus gravidas - I think if I'd felt as bad as I did last week + vomiting for months on end I too would be lying in a ball wailing "get it out".

For me at its worst last week it felt like sea-sickness, you know - total loss of control of balance, perception, everything - and isn't sea-sickness your body mimicking being poisoned? I'm not sure I could handle that ad nauseum

givecarrotsachance · 03/12/2009 15:56

ski yes, I figured it was for HG. TBH, I can understand the just not wanting to keep going! My friend who had it with her only successful pregnancy after 5 miscarriages, said that she could just see through the next few hours - not even the next day - never mind the rest of the pregnancy.

Sea-sickness is a good description. For me, like being hungover although I don't feel sick with a hangover. YOB gets neither (he's tee-total and has a cast-iron stomach) so has no idea but still is very supportive.

I've only ever employed one pregnant woman and if it ever happens again, I'm going to be much more sympathetic . Not that I was a bad boss (I don't think!) and we're still friends some 10 years later, but I never really, actually, understood.

cunty if you're there, after 10.30 do you stop vomming and feel horrid, or stop vomming and feel fine?

my message just got eaten by my computer. that's almost enough to make me weep...

VoilaAnotherGimlet · 03/12/2009 18:21

Hmm just noticed ski's comment about 5'11 friend - I'm 5'11 and if I was 8st7 I would look like a skeletal Posh Spice (this is not a good thing). Is she really that weight or is that what she tells people? I'm around 10st9 and I'm not considered porky and wear size 12 clothes. Though maybe size 12 would be porky to her. (But then crisps and cake taste better than skinny feels, to paraphrase Ms Moss - or at least how I imagine skinny may feel, having never really been what she would call skinny)

Sorry!

skihorse · 03/12/2009 20:13

VAG I imagine she'd be a UK 4 or so... 32-22-32 - she's miniscule!

CUNextTuesday · 03/12/2009 20:24

rots I don't vom as a rule - only bile the other day but usually I retch about 5 timeswith no 'content' first thing whilst I'm washing my hair over the bath. Once that's over, and I can feel myself when it's over cos I feel much better I'm fine for the rest of the day. Can't eat large stodgy meals, that's the only thing.

Getting off pretty lightly by the sounds of things. Mum said she sailed through her first preg so I can only go by that! 10 weeks tomorrow so even if it does get worse it might only be short lived

iggypiggy · 04/12/2009 09:44

Thanks VAG

ski I cannot do ginger beer - in fact any fizzy drink = fail...

cunty I can't eat large stodgy meals either.

I is still having to eat fruit as soon as I get up as feel so sicky - but that makes me feel much betterer...

Have birthday party to go to tonight - am gonna drive - and just say am trying to go easy on drink so drove.. or summink like that

skihorse · 04/12/2009 10:09

Morning everyone, I'm enjoying spicy lean food and have gone off the carbs a bit thank god - I'm no longer snuffling through them like a pig after truffles.

I was just about to say that I've got my healthy food mojo back but I'm going for a stroll to the shops in an hour to buy a giant profiterole so... well, calcium innit.

My tits are still ginormous. How's everyone else on the breastage?

iggypiggy · 04/12/2009 10:10

ridiculous comedy oversize tits here

skihorse · 04/12/2009 10:22

haha - and does your gentleman friend approve?

iggypiggy · 04/12/2009 10:24

he is allowed NOWHERE near them - 3ft would be too close

CurlyCasper · 04/12/2009 12:53

tits sore and veiny but still a < B cup

I WANT BIGGER BOOBS!!!!

Can't believe I don't get to whinge to a midwife until Jan 7. Is it normal that I get to see an obstetrics consultant at the booking appointment? Or could it be as a result of my dodgy medical history?

skihorse · 04/12/2009 14:04

Sounds as though it's your history Curly - you're going to get speshul care.

I hope your tits get bigger.

CurlyCasper · 04/12/2009 14:39

I'm so spesssshhhhuuuul! Looked the doc up - seems he's some ace obs and gyny man, who rules IVF in the local private hossies. Is my pregnancy and labour really going to be that bad?????

Thanks re my tits

skihorse · 05/12/2009 16:18

I went to carpetright and the bastard things cost twice what I'd budgeted although the price will probably come down when they come to measure officially on tuesday and we were rather over generous with room estimates... still, I'd rather that than being shocked the other end.

So my ski holiday is all a bit "should I?, shouldn't I"?

Have any of you lot had thoughts about hols before all hell breaks loose? I'd really like a week in Austria next month but I'm not sure it's in budget with the damned house stuff.

Failing that I really want a week away in May without the dogs, just us, before our lives are ruined changed forever.

CUNextTuesday · 05/12/2009 16:33

I am not going snowboarding But with a fair wind and a kid friendly company I might get to do it next Jan - speck will be 6 months and that's do-able apparently. Top hole.

I'm hoping we may get away for a romantic weekend break in March for my birthday. Got a posh hotel lined up and I won't be THAT big hopefully .

Won't be having a summer hol I reckon unless it's in the Lake District at mum's house

CurlyCasper · 05/12/2009 19:41

holiday? WTF is that?

Ponymum · 06/12/2009 12:31

AAAAAAAAArrrrrgghhh!!!!

Ponymum · 06/12/2009 12:33

Sorry, I am just not coping.

CUNextTuesday · 06/12/2009 14:22

with what pone?

CurlyCasper · 06/12/2009 15:10

what's up? You having to pee every 20 minutes too?

Ponymum · 06/12/2009 15:18

It's everything at once. Yucky morning sickness, MrP is still away, and DD has been really sick - has been in hospital children's ward. I kind of lost it there and nearly fainted/threw up on the paediatrician then spent the night sobbing with exhaustion before insisting they discharge DD and let us go home. She's getting better now but I am still exhausted, feel like fainting every time I stand up, AND I have a cold. For four nights in a row I hardly slept at all with DD waking up every 15 mins screaming, coughing, and vomitting. I want MrP to come home NOW! I'm not made for this.
