stinkypinky glad its not just me with the skin tags on foof! At least I think thats what they are but I can't actually see as my bump is too big.

God knows how I will do my bikini line before I go into hospital, I'm frightened I might shave off something I shouldn't and there is no way I could even consider going to a beauty salon in my sorry state!

stinkypinky · 07/03/2010 18:55

Thedollshouse - I am sure the midwives will not be shocked by a fluffy bikini line.

Hello ladies,

as it seems to be moan week I am well and truly going to join in, had really bad day today, waved goodbye to DP, who is flying off to Afganistan very soon, so won't see him again until August feel very about this and had a good cry at the train station (cue lots of soggy tissues)

Also have an extremely itchy foof which I think is thrush but couldn't get a docs appointment until Tuesday this week.......but used a mirror to look at my foof and was horrified to see that it has doubled in size....anyone else??

On the up size will be considered full-term on Friday (37 weeks) feel that's a huge goal reached

Anyway enough about me, how is everyone else??

HoopsIsGettingMassive · 07/03/2010 19:59

size side

Zeeky · 07/03/2010 20:35

Hoops - foof is looking fatter with me too! I think it's the extra blood flow to that region. I remember it happening last time too.

Anyone got crusty nipples to add to the list of ailments? I got them last time too and was a little freaked by them, thinking that there was something wrong with my boobs and I wouldn't be able to breastfeed. First time I breastfed DS, the crust disappeared. MW said it was colustrum leaking slightly and then forming a crust so that my boobs weren't constantly leaking in run up to birth. It just makes my hooters look even more gross at the moment. When I'm gettig dressed in the morning DS (who's 2.6) says "put them away Mummy, they're yucky"! Nice confidence boost

Currently got overactive sinuses, so blowing out loads of green goo constantly, and also a chesty cough which comes on really bad as the evening wears on. Poor baby must be being jerked around with all the coughing and blowing

Snowtiger · 07/03/2010 21:16

Yup, count me in on the 'massive foof' list, mine's doubled in size and frankly would be frightening if I could see it, but I can't, because of my enormous, increasingly-stretch-mark-covered bump, so I don't care. Am seriously peed off about the stretch marks - I must have spent a fortune on bloody Bio Oil.

Sorry to hear about your DP going off to Afghanistan, Hoops, I can't imagine how difficult that must be for you - hope you have lots of other RL support around you and shoulders to cry on. And we're always here to provide a virtual shoulder / box of tissues etc. when you need us!

So who's going to be the brave one to copy the EDD list and start a new thread then eh? Where's Rtuff when we need her?!?

tostaky · 08/03/2010 08:00

zeeky i am with you on the crusty nipples... i have been wondering as well why i was not leaking milk bc i was leaking from 20 wks with DS and with this pregnancy, nothing... lets hope i can still breastfeed!
So many of us are reaching full term in a few days!!!! who is oing to be first???? suspens!!

Bettymum · 08/03/2010 09:53

Have just caught up on all the weekend messages, we are all a right mess aren't we?! I went in to get DD up on Saturday morning and she lifted up my pyjama top and yelled "hello fat tummy!" and then lifted it up a bit more and shouted "hello boobs!" wasn't sure whether I was or .
Snowtiger it took a couple of weeks but the iron tabs definitely made me feel better. I'm not consipated but I am making sure that I eat plenty of fibre. Am for you that they didn't contact you about your results.
Well, two more weeks of work...will be 36 weeks on Wednesday...can't wait to be off on maternity leave, I just have no interest in work whatsoever and the commuting is exhausting. Hope I get a few days rest before the Bub makes an appearance!
DH was out last night so I watched a couple of Home Birth Diaries on telly, they were all very calm and candlelit and a world away from the stirrups and screaming on One Born Every Minute. Still keep having weird dreams about having the baby...not long now!

Snowtiger · 08/03/2010 13:28

Thanks Bettymum, am hoping the iron tablets will kick in soon and I'll be full of beans...

I went to the osteopath this morning and her eyes nearly popped out of her head when she saw me. Apparently my bump has grown a LOT in the last week! Hence the stretchmarks, presumably.

I've just been very good and self-indulgent, arranged for a cleaning service to come twice a month once DS2 arrives, and also just done my shopping online rather than heaving my great bump off the sofa to Tesco. Feeling rather smug and proud of myself!!

Right, going to have a snooze do my hypnotherapy CD now, hope everyone's feeling OK.

Sorry to hear about your DP Hoops really hope that August comes around quickly for you both.
Rumple my braxton hicks are like a hardening - almost shuddering of entire abdomen, they last anythimg from a few seconds to a minute or so. You don't always get them
What goes in the hospital bag again?!! going to waddle to Mothercare tomorrow to get plenty Lansinoh cream and maternity pads.....joy.
I also feel that this is it for me pregnancy wise, I don't enjoy it and feel ridiculously huge and sore this time.....lovely baby to come though so concentrate on that.

PrincessTweetz · 09/03/2010 07:11

Hello everyone!! I've got 3 weeks left...woohoo! Home birth kit is being delivered this morning, and I'm really hoping it gets delivered early cuz otherwise dd1 is going to miss her weekly dose of stay-and-play, and I feel bad enough that she's going to miss a few weeks when lil Jude comes along as it is...it wouldn't bother me that much but she starts nursery in September, and I reslly want to keep her confidence up as much as I can before then, I don't want her being a crumpled mess like me hehe. Looks like she's missing next week for my tens machine appointment, and the following week for her development check too...then a few days later Jude's due!!! That's not such a pain though!!
On top of everything that's already been spoke about, I still need to paint two of my toenails on each foot.....I went to my mums 65th birthday last week, and the shoes I wore only showed 2 toes, so I cheated and just painted the first 3 toes in a bright pink!!!! It looks rather odd though, so I need to get dp to have a go at footr decoration....most of the varnish will end up on my skin rather trhan the nails lol!!
That's enough from me I think...hope everyone's ok other than the usual niggles! xx
