how was everyone's weekend, sorry to hear about your morning sickness stinkypinky.
hope more will find this new thread soon.

this is probably tmi but i have woken up with really bad diarrhea this morning i dont feel ill with it though so hopefully its just my body having a flush out or something.
sorry

tostaky · 02/11/2009 09:36

Good morning everyone!
I find it very hard to get motivated to get up to go to work... not sure if it is pregnancy related though or lazyness related!!
Maybe a bit TMI but how does everyone with a toddler has the energy to have sex in the evening (or the time during the day??). Im just sooo exhausted all the time...and ther arent much opportunities during the days either as DS nap is around lunchtime....

tostaky · 02/11/2009 09:43

Forgot to say... my belly button is out already!!!

Bettymum · 02/11/2009 11:01

chegirl I was offering you a nice virtual cup of tea and some chocs after your visit to the hospital .
tostaky I think we have done it twice since I got pregnant, just nooooooo energy at all by the time it gets to bedtime. DH was a happy man last night though .

Snowtiger · 02/11/2009 11:41

Toastaky I'm a morning girl if at all... rarely have the time or inclination to be honest, but since entering the 2nd trimester (I'm 17 wks now) my hormones have had a boost and I keep having naughty dreams, so I tend to act on them when I wake up!! DH hasn't complained so far ...!!

chowmein · 02/11/2009 14:52

hi girls, was looking for the other thread, glad that i found u here!

went for a 16 wk appt with MW, heard baby's heartbeat and mw said it was moving around. eveything looks ok so far and i feel fine (i hope those of u suffering feel fine soon). only thing is i have a fibroid so need to have a review with mw after 20wk scan to see if i need to see a consultant. although mw said that it's on the outside so not affecting the baby. but i might have pain later on or other problems. have anyone has experience of fibroid?

stinkypinky · 02/11/2009 18:08

nicnac I seem to have had constant squits since week 5 - better than the other extreme in my opinion.

tostaky after feeling particularly rotten over weekend, I had a 'damn good seeing-to' last night Had bad back before, but feel like a spring lamb since! DH is a lot more cheery too.

Glad you came back - was feeling very lonely.

hoops997 · 02/11/2009 18:13

Does this mean we have to do another list? I wonder if the thread will appear again?

How is everyone? Anyone got there 20 week scan this week?

stinkypinky · 02/11/2009 18:31

A list sounds good. Cannot cut and paste, so I will start

dani which heart monitor did you get, I have just ordered an Angelsounds things off ebay, should get it tomorrow. I'm with you on the sex front, DP is well happy .

My horniness comes and goes, like sat in the middle of a pub on a Saturday afternoon and asking whether DP fancies a quick jump

Just adding myself.

Glad I found everyone. Thought I'd done something wrong and been booted off the thread as hadn't been on for a while.

Had a week of sinusitus last week which was terrible. Paracetamol wasn't touching the pain. Finally cleared on Sat afternoon after filling half a box of tissues with brown mucus - TMI!!!

Had my 16 week appt with MW this morning. Heard the heartbeat which was really loud and strong.

Bump is coming along, and bellybuttin starting to pop already!! Why oh why do people think they can touch your stomach as soon as a slight bump appears. In-laws came to stay week before last and first thing MIL did was rub my stomach (and she's not normally the touchy type) which was horrible as at the moment it feels like a fat belly rather than baby! But don't get me started on MIL - no wonder I got sinusitis after 4 days of them staying, with me waiting hand and foot on them!!!

Seeing midwife again next week.

Neeko · 02/11/2009 20:27

Hi all. Glad to see this thread is starting to fill up. Shame we weren't able to retrieve the list from the old thread.
I have my 20 week scan a week on Thursday (when I'll be 21+2!) I'm quite looking forward to it because I can feel the baby moving more and more and it's all getting real now.

Still managing on the sex front about once a week but despite best efforts IT's just not happening for me. Never had a problem before, so very frustrating for us both.Has this happened to anyone else? It took me 3 months to pluck up the courage to have sex after DD was born so can't face the idea that I might not have one until next summer! Sex has to be just after DD is in bed as I can't stay awake for too long!

Evening ladies! Am going for a scan on Sunday when I'll be 18 weeks, to find out the gender - my NHS hospital won't disclose the sex of the baby so going to a private clinic. Am surprisingly nervous! I was sure with DS that he was going to be a boy but this time I keep wavering. I hope it's a girl because DH and I can't make our minds up about boys' names... well, that is to say, he won't agree to my choice ha ha!

Adding myself to the new list...

Sex - ah - if only. i am managing once or twice a week but inclination has all but gone, poor DH, waiting for second trimester hormones to kick in more (I'm 17&3).
Still in a total dither / panic over Swine Flu vaccine, anyone had it yet?

Once or twice a week?!?? Cripes lineky my DH would think all his Christmases had come at once if I managed that. Once or twice a month more like it in this house...

I've not had any word from doctors or MW re swine flu but am going to the hospital tomorrow for consultant appointment so will ask about it then I think. My instinct is not to have it, but if they give me a balanced argument I'm prepared to listen, I think!

added myself to the list.

im with you on the once or twice a month snowtiger i go completely off it when pregnant, i dont seem to be as bad as i was last time but definitely not got the horniness that some women get.

my 20 week scan is on 19th so still got a bit of a wait yet, cant wait to find out the sex though i keep changing my mind about which id prefer. dh and ds both want a boy.

im still a no on the swine flu vaccine i think. i had a terrible cold last week and it didnt last any longer than usual so i think my immune system is still pretty ok.

Morning ladies,
Added myself to the list. Only 37 for another month! .
hoops we got the Angelsounds monitor, it's easier to listen to if you plug it into your hifi speakers, if you use the headphones, every time it crackles it's right in your ears and it makes me jump!
I was up with DD for about an hour last night trying to settle her back to sleep, but bonus was that she slept till gone 7.30 so I had a bit of a lie in which was nice. Except if I don't get up till 7.30 it's a mad panic to get everything ready and get out to work.
I've got my 20-week scan next Thursday, can't wait! Still waiting to get my detailed amnio results through. Darned postal strikes.

tostaky · 03/11/2009 09:48

Ah! Glad im not the only one doing it about once a week! last night I wasn't feeling too tired so was expecting some action but I got pissed off by DP for something stupid (he said he likes nicole schrenzwiger whatever her name is and i am so NOT like her!!! and I didnt want to have sex with him fantasising about her) and tonight im going out so there....

I havent felt baby move in a few days now so will have a listen tonight

We're once a week, twice if dh is lucky!! my hormones on my last pregnancy we're much "stronger" so to speak, so dh keeps asking when they're going to kick in!!

I have my 20 week scan on 16th, can't wait to find out the sex, i thought for most of pregnancy that i would be having a girl, but since hearing the heart beat i have changed my mind to boy... did anyone notice the heart rate when you listened to babies heart beat at the 16 week scan?
