Ds was 9'12" so should have expected it. He is now 12 so had forgotten

lucieerin · 19/10/2009 18:30

Hiya, I'm 33+5 weeks, having a section on 18th November or so, and it's my third boy x

helips · 19/10/2009 18:45

Thanks raggie I can rest once ds is in bed although to be honest I'm best off keeping active as if I sit down for too long it all stiffens up. It's playing havoc with my mnetting you have made me smile with your story of the escalator, it's nice that people care I suppose!

hello and welcome lucieellen and congrats on your third boy! Do you have a name picked out? How has your pregnancy been?

ninja wow on the size of baby! I'm sure it will be fine though and all that hair will make him slip out more easily also, aren't bigger babies meant to sleep more?

lucieerin · 19/10/2009 18:54

Thanks this pregnancy has been an absolute nightmare compared to the other two, I'm pretty much housebound due to severe SPD and the fact that doing anything at all seems to bring on contractions hehe. Nearly done now though Can sympathise with big babies - my first was 10lb5! This baby will be called Isaac - took us ages to choose one, both our first two boys have two middle names so thinking of three more names on top of the six boys' names we've already had to choose in total is a bit hard hehe x

weston · 19/10/2009 19:01

wook laugs all stocked up on supersize £7 pjs from primarni, soo comfy!! went for the stars and the flowers...and even matching dressing gown so will be oh soo stylish..

raggie · 19/10/2009 19:13

weston I got the stars PJs a few weeks ago - agree so comfy! Unfortunately they are the white ones with blue stars. Now methinks I'll be needing an open front nightie top at least, and probably in a darker colour ... d'oh!

wook · 19/10/2009 19:15

Weston I have white stars on black So bargainous!

Trikken · 19/10/2009 19:16

ive got the white ones with blue stars, and the dressing gown that matches. am thinking wasnt particularly wise colour choice, but is one of three pairs im bringing.

Trikken · 19/10/2009 19:18

have the cow ones, and the light blue ones that are sort of leopard skin effect as well.

PavlovtheForgetfulCat · 19/10/2009 19:20

Hello ladies!

Well don't you all talk rather a lot ?

We have been painting for the last 2 days. I am a bit sick of it. We have several more days to go . I feel tired, but not too bad. I feel much releived the builders are gone, think that is mostly it, although sick of not ever sleeping wonder if that will ever change now? Doubt it, for around 13 years!

I cannot promise to catch up with all the posts, as we are stopping for pizza, then doing some more this evening, when DD is asleep. Not too much, but need to do some eggshell as it takes so long to dry. We can leave the windows open upstairs now so it should air overnight, then get some sunshine first thing while we faff!

I had sort of packed my bags, but now I ahve an assortment of baby items scattered across the bedroom, if the baby arrives, most of it is there, but who knows where!

Anyway, i shall go and at least attempt to read some posts xx

raggie · 19/10/2009 19:23

White stars on black wook...?

Fruitpastels · 19/10/2009 19:25

Weston Liking your name for Primark I also went for matching PJ's & dressing gown, it will be nice to slip into something pretty after the birth.

Welcome lucieerin How old are your 2 boys? Sorry to hear about the SPD, you must be counting down the days for your CS

Ninjacat Wow impressive size! I've heard that bigger babies are easier to push out. Your body will do the job that nature intended, I'm sure it will be fine

Helips sorry to hear your pain is bad. Hopefully a good sleep tonight will help. Try and take things easy.

Laugs · 19/10/2009 19:55

He he I have the Primark black pjs with white stars too Great minds think alike, eh?

Welcome to the thread, lucieerin! It sounds like you must be having a tough time with 2 DSs and SPD to contend with. I have been moaning for, ooh about 8 months, and I have just the one DD.

Ninjacat Since you are effectively carrying a term-sized baby, I think Alton Towers would definitely be out for me! I hope the GTT test (or is 'test' one of the 'T's?) goes well. I think you should think of it as a good sign that they don't want to induce the baby, they are obviously confident that you'll cope and it's better for everything to be ready naturally.

Pavlov great news that your home is your own again. Did you buy the bed??

hobnob57 · 19/10/2009 19:55

I've worked out that food indulgences (oat flip biscuits today, chocolate other days) give me horrendous evening wind. DH has moved rooms in disgust. I may have to revise my cravings

Not sure that seeing the osteo at 37 weeks was the best idea I've ever had. I'm very tender tonight and have pain in my symhisus pubus at the front which I've managed to avoid so far (all my pain has been sacro iliac at the back). Tomorrow will tell I suppose. But my upper back feels magic

I'm off for that pregnancy massage tomorrow and then the dentist. Sublime to ridiculous. No fad cleaning for me 'till Wednesday, but I'm itching to hoover up the bits of dead leaves which have migrated into the hall since yesterday.

lucieerin · 19/10/2009 20:01

The eldest was 5 in July and the youngest was 3 in may...my oh is really supportive and does everything I can't do and more and is self employed so has even rearranged his work so he can do all the school runs which is a huge relief as I seriously could not manage, I feel so pathetic hehe. I seriously cannot wait to have this baby - mostly for their sake, I hate that I can't do very much with them at the moment and I'm going a little stir crazy!!! How old are everyone else's LO's? xx

Trikken · 19/10/2009 20:03

my ds is 3.5 and lovely when not being a terror.

PavlovtheForgetfulCat · 19/10/2009 20:05

laugs i would not say my home is my own. More, its in n utter state of chaos and is covered in decorating stuff!

You will all be pleased to know, I did not buy the bed. My friend has a king size pine bed in her loft, not doing anything and she is going to give it to us. It has slatted base so she is bringing just those over tomorrow to see if it fits into our room. So we just need to buy a new mattress. Shame, as I actually like our mattress!

PavlovtheForgetfulCat · 19/10/2009 20:17

Ninja omw! what a whopper of a baby! how are you feeling about that?

turtle23 · 19/10/2009 20:22

My DS is 18 months and am praying that he stops teething before this baby comes...I need at least one night's sleep!

lucieerin · 19/10/2009 20:29

I know what you mean, Lukas was only 23 months when James was born and I was desperate to get as much out of the way as possible before the birth so not having to cope with a newborn and potty training at the same time...no such luck though hehe. This time they're both pretty independent when needs be so it'll be a lot easier, they're really kind little boys (though Lukas fluctuates between kissing my bump and telling me how he wants to help when he's born and saying "but babies cry all the time and chew my toys!!" hehe) and I can't wait to see them all together

PavlovtheForgetfulCat · 19/10/2009 20:36

my pizza just arrived, hawaiin for a change and there is hardly any ham or pineapple on it what a rip!

lucieellen [waves] DD is 3.2 and currently sat with us eating pizza as she 'cannot sleep, i tried and tried' . Rod and back springs to mind lol!

PavlovtheForgetfulCat · 19/10/2009 20:36

lucieerin even, sorry, got your name wrong!

lucieerin · 19/10/2009 20:50

Hehehe it's ok, honestly I'm so scatty these days I forget my own name!! It's very hard to say no to a three year old using up all the cute they have, they come out with stuff like that and we just melt lol. James keeps playing up the cute to sleep in our bed "but I promise I will go straight to sleep and I promise I won't throw the covers around and I promise I'll go back to my own bed when you come up" all the while grinning and nodding his head maniacally and then following it up with "yes? yes? yes?", and I know I shouldn't but as OH finishes work late it's just like "oh screw it, yeah" knowing OH will have to sort it out when he get home hahahahah xx

helips · 19/10/2009 20:51

Sorry lucieerin just realised I got your name wrong, oops!
