Don't know... It's a 3yr contract. I wouldn't want to move out there but wouldn't want to stop DH so it may mean him being away 7 weeks out of 8. Not ideal but v good money tax free and good job for DH.

O is currently asleep. Hope he lasts until at least end of XFactor!!

GHOSTLYPRessenceofSES · 18/10/2009 20:36

I'm still in shock on that one, Kay

cantmummyhaveabreak · 18/10/2009 20:52

Really Kayz ????

Shame its not in this country. 3yrs is a long time.

I'm trying to get a bebepod on ebay for DD2... she really wants to be sat playing with the other 2 DC's but isn't able to, a bumbo or bebepod seems like the solution.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 18/10/2009 21:15

right off to bed. DH is off tomorrow nd we've lots to do still to get 'back to normal' including yet more washing- have had the washing machine on 3x already today!!

Will most likely be around by tuesday.

Moosy · 18/10/2009 23:28

I wonder how STT's got on today, wasn't she being being induced today with a possible CS tomorrow if it didn't work?

Kayzr · 19/10/2009 06:44

Morning.

I hope STT's induction went well. I do hope she managed to avoid a CS today.

CANT, yup HV suggested getting the GP to prescribe some antihistimines that will make him sleep all night and that should teach him to sleep. I was a little pissed off.

Now watching last nights x factor. I have avoided FB and Twitter so I don know who has gone. I loved the group song.

Hope everyone is ok.

bracken has started waking up from 5:30am she just chats but it is loud and wakes us up on the monitor.

she is 9 months today

i enjoyed xfactor watched casualty 2

dh and i keep arguning about hull in half term.
i dont want dd1 to go worried she will get 2 tired he wants her 2 go.
she enjoyed party yesterday but was sick after tea in loo.

Kayzr · 19/10/2009 09:14

I think I would let dd1 go Tink. It could be just what she needs. A nice break away from home and school. She can still rest while you're away.

I can not believe Rikki went last night. Who the hell is voting for John and Edward. The people voting must be tone deaf.

Diege · 19/10/2009 09:26

Morning! Very quick one as I'm off to Liverpool to visit friends from old work when I taught at the Uni'.
KAYZ, I think you have me to blame for the twins staying in . Yes, I voted for them ; not that I like them, just that they are so apallingly bad that I am drawn to them in a slightly bizarre way and look forward to seeing how bad they can get!
TINKS, you know I think KAYZ is right (not about the twins ), it may do dd1 the world of good to have a change of scene and perhaps take her out of herself if that makes sense? Children thrive on new experiences (I think) and adapt a lot better than we give them credit for And think about the rest you'd get
Good luck STT!! Will be thinbking of you xx
Welocme back CANT, you were missed!
Right, better get myself sorted for the train. Back later!

Kayzr · 19/10/2009 09:31

Diege, why????????? Are you mad?

OP posts:
tinkbig · 19/10/2009 10:52

what was going on with whitney very odd!!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 19/10/2009 11:12

Tink- Ebay is the pits for selling baby bits right now.

I have just bought a TV for the DC's room for 99p off ebay. Hoping to get a bargain on a tv on there- the picture on ours is going funny and so is the sound, so want one to just last 6mths or so till we re-decorate the living room and get a flat screen LCD thingy to put on the wall- can't afford one till after xmas so its second hand for now. Have also just made a best offer on a dryer on ebay too, its a really good one and hope we get it! Ours the heat setting has gone so doesn't heat up enough to dry everything quickly like it used to. Everything in this house is going- the hoover is still not picking up well, could do with a little freezer too- not good at all- good job our holiday has been and gone!!

On the up-side, have just been to tesco and got a load of little stocking fillers (skipping ropes, balls, soft toys etc for the DC's stockings, all between 25p-75p.... Bargains!!

STT- hope all is well and you have your new baby in your arms now. Thinking of you!! xxx

tinkbig · 19/10/2009 12:02

my ebay bits arent looking good!! had to sell as taking up room.

good luck stt

tinkbig · 19/10/2009 12:35

they both run out tomorrow @ 12pm

on the moses i have one bid for 0.99p and 2 watchers
on changing station have one bid for 0.99p and 1 watcher

do i wait and hope they sell for more???

have checked some others that started @ 0.99p and they have sold for £30 - £40

Moosy · 19/10/2009 13:32

Not sure I'd go as far as voting for them Diege, but I do actually find Twit and Twat far less irritating than Ricky, FGS stop crying man!

Morning,

I need a good slap!! I am really broody and I really want to start trying now!!! ARGH!!!!

I can't try now though as I have got to lose this weight first.

Must stop thinking about babies!

OP posts:
tinkbig · 20/10/2009 09:04

morning

i was really broody so we decided to start trying for dd2 earlier then we had planned. i was like you kay thinking about babies all the time.
have swimming lesson with dd2 this monring it is wet & cold here
ebay items have gone up abit so crossing fingers one runs out @ 12:30 and one @ 1pm

GHOSTLYPRessenceofSES · 20/10/2009 09:05

Kay - I would slap you but don't think you deserve one really. Broodiness is v understandable and you've already done so well losing weight, I'm sure you'll get there.

GHOSTLYPRessenceofSES · 20/10/2009 09:06

Hi tink - enjoy swimming!

Kuwait - DH had a phonecall yesterday from the headhunters asking for his CV and to set up a meeting. DH asked which company the job was with and he's now not following it up as he doesn't want to work for them as they're "too commercial". I'd never heard of the company! Anyway, we're not moving to Kuwait!!

GHOSTLYPRessenceofSES · 20/10/2009 09:11

DS has brought up almost his entire feed 3 times in the last 24hrs. He seems fine in every other way so I don't know why. Maybe he's just guzzling too quickly or maybe now he's going longer between feeds maybe my milk's coming out too fast for him? Any ideas??

GHOSTLYPRessenceofSES · 20/10/2009 09:14

Tomorrow we're off to Ireland. Lots of relatives for Owen to meet - 8 cousins, 4 aunts, 3 uncles, great granny as well as DH's parents who have already met him. It's going to be chaos!!
I'm not looking forward to the journey. 6hrs to Holyhead, over an hour on the ferry and over an hour's drive the other end.

Sorry for lots of posts. DS is asleep on me!

Diege · 20/10/2009 09:44

Morning! SES don't worry too much about O beinging up feeds, they all go through it at some point and usually settles within 48 hrs. Could be a minor tummy upset? I used to really stress out when it happening, not knowing whether to feed straight away again. usually did and always pushed it the extra ounce and whoosh out it would all come!
Good that decision has been made about Kuwait! Enjoy Ireland - how long are you going for?
KAYZ, you could always lose the weight after no.3??
Morning TINKS! Think you've made a good decision re: dd1
Off to take J up to gps for hi jabs now; second set. He's weeks behind but the practice nurse has been off and of course they won't let anyone else do them

Kayzr · 20/10/2009 09:46

I couldn't do that Diege. MIL said that DS2 was so big because I am so fat.

I don't want to risk it again. My MW has said that if I had had DS2 in hospital I probably would have ended up with a CS as they don't like to let people wait too long.

OP posts:
Diege · 20/10/2009 09:52

That was nice of your MIL KATZ I don't think weight necessarily has a great deal to do with baby weight iyswim? I don't think I was that much bigger with ds and he was a lot bigger than dds! Maybe see the winter as a really good chance to lose the weight and bring forward ttc to springtime?

Kayzr · 20/10/2009 09:56

I know but I don't want to have the next baby close to the boys birthdays. So I can only start trying from October next year. It's a year away!!
