Star - I think Diege has been voting for the twins...

Diege - did you contact Mr C and blackmail him into saving J&E?

Starshinetiger · 08/11/2009 21:28

Diege did say the other week that she wasn't voting for them any more, so don't think we can send this in her direction

Ah well, DS is full of cold tonight - think I may end up taking him into our bed and sending DH off to DS' bed, so that at least one of us can get a good night's sleep. Yay for DD though - she has been asleep for 2.5 hours so far (probably jinxing it by telling you...). Ah well, I can dream...

essenceofSES · 08/11/2009 21:33

Oh, ok Diege, I'll let you off!

Star - hope DS's cold doesn't disturb you or him too much tonight. O has stayed asleep for over 2hrs now. First time since Tues he's stayed sleeping that long since first being put down

I've just been looking at Kellymom website. It says that you can defrost EBM and mix more than one lot together to make a full feed. I didn't realise that - will help a lot!

Diege · 08/11/2009 22:09

Well, as Simon says if you didn't vote for Lucy you can't be sureprised when she gets voted off...

Kayzr · 09/11/2009 06:54

Morning,

I am not watching X Factor anymore. It is over rated and fixed. Simon Cowell is a coward!!!

DS2 is now walking around with the aid of a push along Thomas(at Mums) or a lion we have here. He looks so pleased with himself. But DS1 is being really naughty and keeps pushing him over.

Hope everyone is ok.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 09/11/2009 08:57

Kayz- well doen on DS2 'walking'.... it's amazing when they start isn't it!! give it a forghtnight and you'll be wishing he couldn't though!!

Ses- hope O was a good boy last night and slept well.

VERY good development here- DD2 was put to bed at 7pm for bed, gave a dream feed at 9.30 but DS came home from football and we woke her up- so i fed her again (seeing as she was way too asleep to get too much at her dream feed anyway).... well she was sound asleep by 10pm, and didn't wake till 6.50 for a feed!!!!! Wuhoo!! I so wish i'd stuck it out before now!! It took 1 night and she's sleeping through!! I'm extatic!!

essenceofSES · 09/11/2009 09:20

Cant - that is fantastic!!
O slept well initially from 7.30pm til 10.50pm. I then fed him and he fell asleep on me so I transferred him back into his cot. Within 5 mins he woke up so I repeated. By midnight I wasn't getting anywhere so brought him into bed for the rest of the night

There was definite evidence of his first steps in weaning in his morning nappy! Have posted a photo from yesterday on my profile and also some new ones on FB.

And.... O is 6 months old today!!!

Starshinetiger · 09/11/2009 09:39

Kayz - yay on DS2 walking. That is fantastic. 2nd children have to be so much more hardened don't they?! Just because of their sibling

Can't - yay on sleeping - fantastic. I was all set for DD last night, but she went down at 7. Woke at 11.30 so had a feed, then didn't wake until 4.50 - I had agreed that no feeding between last feed of night and 5am, so that was fine by me - put her in her cot awake after her
5am feed and she woke me at 6.50am - yay!! We shall see what happens!

Ses - glad you and O are enjoying weaning - the effects in the nappy do show you that he's taking some in, eh?!

Diege - sorry, but I don't think Simon's argument stands up, except in a money-grabbing way. I am not going to vote for every other contestant in the competition just so he doesn't keep Jedward in - the only winner there is Simon. I voted for Danyl. I expect the better singers to be kept in the competition. As you can see, I am still very angry with Simon this morning (perhaps I ought to get a life... )

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 09/11/2009 09:50

morning

IWroteOffLightningMcQueen · 09/11/2009 10:07

Morning

Ses, exactly what did you take a picture of??? Good start to BLW

Can't, (can't get used to calling you Can't!) Sound's like DD2 is being a little star bless her

Big WOW for Dylan

IDOB, you sound like you're doing really well, well done you! I was just about hitting the point of 'OMG, what have we done, take him back to the hospital' around now with DS1!!

Diege, any house news?

Everyone have good weekends? We went to friends on Saturday night, had bonfire fireworks etc. was v. good I drove on the motorway And we got our bedroom sorted out yesterday, t'is looking v. nice even if I do say so myself! Now I have shopping to do

Oh and finally, Jedward? obviously.

IWroteOffLightningMcQueen · 09/11/2009 10:09

Sorry x posts, Morning Tink and Star, sound's like a better night Star

cantmummyhaveabreak · 09/11/2009 10:18

SST- your night sounds very good for what i usually hear!! well done to the pair of you!!

I think DD2 just reached that point where she knew she could do it, but just didn't want to. and with her being so small still for her age i held of longer than i would ahve if she'd been born full term on being tough at nights!!

Ses- sorry to hear O didn't sleep too good in the end. I think i'd have done the same this time last week- just given in for the sake of a bit more sleep!!

Right best dash- got my sister coming round, and best get some wii-fit done- on a mission to loose even more weight!!

Diege · 09/11/2009 10:21

Morning! Yes you're absolutely right STAR, it's win-win situation for Simon, either with his record producers hat on or Tv exec. He's probably lapping up all the debate too! Danyl's my fave too, though I predict Olly will win. Think Jedward will be out next week tbh
CANT, great about dd2, you must feel like a new woman!
LIGHTNING, also wondered about SES's picture too Will (hopefully) get some resolution on the house today and if it's all go will be looking to move at the weekend . Not wanting to get too excited just yet though.
KAYZ wow for ds2 walking albeit with some help. Won't be long before he and Dylan are running round after each other
Hi SES, sounds like weaning is going well
Well have been out already to get the essentials, and don't intend heading out again until nursery throw out time, tis so cold! Have got dd2 some birthday bits and also a couple of stocking fillers.
Hope everyone is ok!

Kayzr · 09/11/2009 10:34

Our bloody boiler has broken!! I went to do the washing up and it was freezing!! They are sending someone before half 1. I did need to go to the shops but it is going to have to wait now.

OP posts:
Diege · 09/11/2009 10:42

Oh no Kayz, do you think it's something to do with the freeze last night? Hope it's just something minor xx

Starshinetiger · 09/11/2009 10:42

Fingers crossed for the move Diege - you sound so relaxed about it - if I was moving in 5 days I'd be a right stressy cow headless chicken

Yay for motorway driving Lightning.

Kayz - boo to boiler failing, what a nightmare you are having!

Well, DS is ill, so not at nursery - tucked up on sofa bed in playroom, watching Cbeebies instead (he has been ill on and off for 2 weeks now, keeps just going up and down, off food, temperature and then well again, but has been sooo tired for 2 weeks - if it goes on much longer, may have to take him to GP, but suspect they will just say it's a virus. DD is asleep and I should be ironing... cleaning... tidying... ah well, it will all get done in about 2012 eventually

Kayzr · 09/11/2009 12:10

Just watched the repairman drive past the house. I hope he comes back this way.

OP posts:
Diege · 09/11/2009 13:18

The only reason I'm so relaxed STAR (well, blase really) is because I just can't see the move happening It's just been such a drawn out process and I can;t imagine why anyone would delay if they didn't have serious doubts about buying the house. Dh will ring when there is news, so must hold tight and stop myself becoming unduly pessimistic just yet. Of course if it does work out I will turn into a tasmanian devil and start throwing things into boxes!(not that we have any as yet!) Hope ds starts to feel better - probably a virus as you suggest. From memory my gp uses the '2 week rule' - ie. if they're still suffering after 2 weeks may be worth a visit to gp (who will no doubt say it's a virus...etc etc )
KAYZ, hope the van has come back and you are enjoying some hot water!

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 09/11/2009 13:43

help ladies

anyone had or have a wheelybug
??????

was going to get dd2 elc wooden trike for bday have fallen in luv with wheelybugs?

Diege · 09/11/2009 14:51

Hi TINKS. Have never had one myself but have always thought they look great (though would soon be grown out of I'd imagine). You could always pass down to dd2 though.

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 09/11/2009 15:27

i meant for dd2s 1st bday

Diege · 09/11/2009 15:43

Sorry TINKS, head in the clouds at the moment waiting for The Call about the house! If for dd2 then yes it would be a fab buy as would see her through a few years. They sell well on e-bay too so look at it as refundable in a few years

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 09/11/2009 15:54

thats ok diege will let u off as is you ;)

Diege · 09/11/2009 16:12

Hmm, hard to know. Instinct says large ladybird but can't remember how much bigger large is than small. Could you do a link?
