Tiger wheely bug is very cute: do they do it in a small? Trike fab too, though do prefer bug as it seems more compact. Depends how much room you have though, plus would you want to go outside with it?

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 09/11/2009 16:29

nope strictly for indoors we have a big loundge i luv ladybirds but tiger is very cute 2 yes they do it small

Diege · 09/11/2009 16:38

In that case I'd def go for the bug: small tiger would be my choice though ladybird cute too

Small ladybird would be my choice but only as i've had my eye on them since having DD1- may have to be 1st bday pressy for DD2!!

Had another rummage in some charity shops today and got some wodden magnetic clicky vintage toys for DD1 & DS- i used to play with them when i was in school- so had to buy them- they cost £2 for a bag full!! they are ace- DC's love them- so do i!

Quick post. Tink, we have a ladybird wheelybug - the big one. Mum bought it for DS for his 2nd birthday. We bought the bigger one as we thought it would last better. He does love it, but it gets most use when he has friends over and they want a ride-on each - the car gets the most use this 7-in-1 toy They're currently 40% off in Mothercare and has been fantastic for DS - not sure we're going to get it back to infant use for DD, as DS still uses it, but hey ho! So, I endorse the wheelybug, but say the above has been our best buy. Got it for DS' 1st birthday and now he's 3 he still uses it, but DD already interested in it, especially the music bit!

Can't - yes DD had a brilliant night last night - 1 wake in pretty much 10 hours, would have been so fantastic if DS hadn't disturbed at 8.30, 9.30, then I went to bed at 10, DH woke me when he came to bed at 10.30, DD woke for feed at 11.30 and then DS woke again at 12.30, at which point he went in our bed with DH and I went in DS' bed. So, I got 4 hours before DD woke again. We will get there DS has perked up this evening though, having spent most of day on sofa bed, dozing on and off. Hopefully he will feel better tonight.

essenceofSES · 09/11/2009 22:06

I've just let our dogs out for their evening wee wander round the garden and one of them could obviously smell, see or hear something and went mad barking really loudly. So much so that O woke up Bless him he'd been asleep for 2.5hrs. I tried just cuddling him back to sleep but his crying was getting more intense and his hands and mouth were searching for boob so I'm sat feeding him in bed. Hopefully he'll go back into his cot and I'll probably try and get some sleep then too.

Tink - I've heard of those wheelybugs. Meant to be v good. I prefer the ladybird.

Can't - good rummaging!

Lightning - ooh, no I don't go as far as photos of poo!!

Star - hope both DD and DS have a good night for you.

Diege - fingers crossed for you still for The Call.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 10/11/2009 09:48

DD2 is sitting up- all be it for maybe 5mins at a time before she looses concentration (normally watching the dog or the other DC's wander round behind her) and falls to one side. But her balance is there now!! I'm so thrilled as it's the first real development 'milestone' she's hit!!

Another fairly good night- she woke at 3ish for around 20mins but finally drifted off after a moan- i'm not even giving her her blanket/dummy back either as she's only moaning and groaning- not crying as such- more like a wail for attention- and she self soothes fairly soon after waking. Then she fell back to sleep until 7am!! well done DD2!!

Diege · 10/11/2009 09:53

Morning! Wow CANT dd2 sounds like she's doing really well, and I bet you feel better for the extra sleep! Lucky here with ds as he does seem to be a good sleeper (I'm due one after 3 5am starters!)sleeping from 7 to 7. Still weaking him for dream feed but may drop that soon. It's odd how you cling to that couple of ounces when the consequences may be a broken night's sleep!
Have had nothing back from buyers yet, and if we don;t get anything back from them today there's no way we can move this weekend. I think I'm right in thinking you need at least 5 days to get the whole house packed up?!! So fingers crossed we get some news; really affecting me and dh badly; lots of rows etc which isn't great though I suppose understandable!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 10/11/2009 10:00

Oh diege- the buyers sound like absolute twunts right now!! I understand they are spending LOT OF MONEY- BUT WHY NOT RAISE THEIR WORRIES BEFORE THE WEEK OF COMPLETION? IT'S REDICULOUS!!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 10/11/2009 10:00

Hey they're all out of stock now Def a good decision.
Off to get dds after I've braved the post office. Had call from dh who says that the boss of the estate agency has had a long chat with buyer and hopefully allayed some of their worries . Will hear more later and hopefully get a resolution some time soon (for the whole wagon's sanity and also my waistline ).
