morning- It's very quiet in here atm... everyone must be busy. I should be too- got some food to blend and freeze for my little one- have started making my own food for her now she's started taking it well. Have some sunday lunch done for her, and have a chicken stew to blitz up this morning. She's loving it!! And is even having some small lumps already!!

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 22/10/2009 11:08

cant she is doing really well ;p
i am still giving bracken jars. i tried blending up some of our meals not habing it hates lumps

cantmummyhaveabreak · 22/10/2009 11:12

i have loads of jars that i'm not gonna use now- but it'd prob cost too much to send them in the post as they are heavy- might see if my friend wants them, she has a 2 day old DD2, and the dates are good for another 12-18mths so they'll last her till weaning age!!

Kayzr · 22/10/2009 11:28

DS2 has 99% jars. We just don't have the time with working and everything else. So when we have roasts, casseroles, spag bol etc he has that. But when we have pizza, burgers etc he has a jar as it is so much easier.

Quick hello from Ireland!

STT - huge congrats!! Hope you can both get home soon. What does DS1 make of having a brother?

Our crossing yesterday was cancelled due to bad weather so we had to get an earlier one. It was also a slower one so took us 3 hrs and we had to leave home earlier. In total we left home at 6.15am and arrived in the village here at 7pm! DS was a star and only had a few moments of being really fed up. DH also did really well with all the driving. DS is loving all the attention from all the family.

Got to go as dropping SIL3 into town and going shopping (although it's bucketing down with rain!)

I had hoped to be able to keep in touch via my phone but a message came up saying it costs £3 per MB!! Will probably try and use SIL1's laptop again over the weekend.

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 22/10/2009 15:53

kay - it is much easier isnt it. especially when you have 2

Diege · 22/10/2009 17:15

Hello! Haven;t had much time to catch up but wanted to say a massive congratulations to STT! That's wonderful news and let's hope thgat you can both get home soon
Hi SES, hope rain clears up for you! Journey sounds long but seems you coped admirably
Hi TINK, KAYZ, CANT - also using jars here, just not enough hours in the day atm - still up doing packed lunches at 11. When he's properly weaned will give him what we're having though.
Need to get dd3 from nursery but hopefully back later x

GruffaloSoldier · 23/10/2009 11:46

Morning all,

had such a busy day yesterday with buggycise, nct meet up and tesco that me and GC are taking it easy today!

Congrats STT hope you are all doing well!

Moosy - I have answered on your thread! I love thinking of names! Hope you find one you like soon. Loving the cakes on FB by the way

Cant - great about Ruby and food, GC is loving it too, doing a mixture of BLW and mushed food.

Tink - keep persevering with DD2, remember to praise her if she has even the smallest bit and don;t make a big deal if she doesnt try it. you might want to start off really small so it doesn't seem like a big deal?? Hope she takes to it soon!

SEs, hope youre enjoying Ireland!

Hi Diege, have a good day!

Hi to everyone else!!

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 23/10/2009 13:18

morning diege and gruff.

GruffaloSoldier · 23/10/2009 13:33

oh sorry Diege I think i x-posted there and only just refreshed! glad that dd3 is doing well with constipation!

Moosy · 23/10/2009 17:26

Ooooooooooooowwwwwwwww. The KNUFs have started

Kayzr · 23/10/2009 19:41

Just found my dream job! It is working for BBC Yorkshire as a football reporter. Apart from the fact I know nothing about working on TV and I would probably stand in front of the camera and not be able to say anything, I would love it!!

I had my drastic hair cut and oh my god I love it!!!

OP posts:
Starshinetiger · 23/10/2009 21:15

Moosy, enlighten me - what are KNUFs? I want to sympathise, but am in the dark

Haircut looks good Kayz.

Right, off to find some alcohol to put in my caffeine free diet coke - it just ain't cutting the mustard for a Friday night ;-)

Moosy · 23/10/2009 22:22

KNUFs are Knitting Needles Up Fanjo and are really quite painful! Sharp stabby pains which knock the breath out of me for a couple of seconds, mostly when the creature is wriggling.

Kayz your hair looks good!

Diege · 24/10/2009 09:32

Morning! Just coming out of a horrendous migraine. First I've had since being pregnant (linked to period)and so bad that none of my meds tocuhed it. Think I'll be going back to GP to try something different. At the moment on full dose co-codamol, which don't do much for it but I can see how people get addicted
MOOS, yes, I remember those knitting needles!! Presume you got them in your other pregnancies?
KAYZ, I LOVE your hair!
Have lost another half stone, so a stone and a half in total now. Just another stone and a half to go then I will be at my ideal weight!!!
Not much planned for today other than post office - bet they'll be busy! Anyone else have plans?

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 24/10/2009 09:55

poor you moosy remember them 2

kay - hair is great

morning diege have a good one
sorry about migraine i used to get them all the time horrid!!
i am having period issues @ mo 2. i got the implant fitted in march.
periods are still irregular is heavy @ the mo having stomache aches
h and dd1 have gone off 2 hull back tues late
my mum is over @ 11am

Diege · 24/10/2009 10:52

May be worth going back to GP TINKS, doesn;t sound right, though I suppose one of the implant side effects for some people. Using natural methdds here, which sounds a bit but has worked well for us over the past 9 years!

tinkisthrillerthrillernight · 24/10/2009 11:51

hi diege

only option is 2 have implant out and go on pill will give it abit longer then have out

Diege · 24/10/2009 16:37

Sounds sensible TINKS! My cycle is crazy at the moment, though I suppose it is only 4 months since the birth for me! Migraine has come back and feeling pretty spaced out on meds (not good spaced out either!).
Looking forward to x-factor tonight - love Michael Buble! (is that how you spell his name??!) May have to stop myself voting for the twins again

Kayzr · 24/10/2009 18:15

Just got a text from STT. She is going home tomorrow with DS2!! Which is brill news. Can't wait to see some piccies.

Most Haunted live starts tonight for a week. I can have my Mr O'Keefe fix for a whole week!! DH is moaning about it already.

DS1 is driving me mad. He normally goes to bed at 7 but I seriously think I am going to put him up in a minute.

OP posts:
Diege · 24/10/2009 18:59

Hi KAYZ! We never did get that autograph back did we ...think he was holed up in Paris when I last asked but hasn't been responding to e-mails for ages according to those who (used to) work with him.
Trying to put ds up later toinight in a forlorn hope that he'll just slot into the hour going back 'new' routine . Bet I'll be on here at 6am tomorrow

Diege · 24/10/2009 19:00

Oh and thanks for news about STT. That's brilliant and look forward to hearing how things are going.

Kayzr · 24/10/2009 19:05

No we didn't. I had forgotten about that.

The boys went up at half 6. Going to see if that old wives tale of 'the earlier they go to bed the later they get up' actually works.
