DQ am knackered too and have done nothing allllllll day. I prefer emmaljunga and am eyeing up a few on ebay as well as bertini and zooper combi.

oh no more brands I've not even heard of.... please dont tempt me!

I sorted dd2 toys and books today - meant i could 'do' something dh would notice (!) but sit down too!LOL!

Hi girls, Well thats it i am now convinced i am haveing a baby!
Scan today was amazing. Baby (which will now be called fred! according to ds and dsd) was upside down and refused to move even after being jiggled and pushed! Every time the scanner tried to do a measurement fred moved and she had to do a head measurement in the end! Fred only measured 12+5 today and they wanted to change my due date to 01/01/2006 BUT i cried and they have left it as it was!! Am over the moon and have a couple of pics.
Chatted with ds and dsd again tonight and ds started rubbing my tummy! Thats when they decided to stop calling it baby or sister/brother and instead have nick named it FRED from scooby doo! God help it if its a girl!!
Have lost a total of 15lbs since my 7 week check but obviously baby is unaffected by this.
Sickness ok and tends to just be nausea now!
Got my big scan on 24th Aug amd cant wait.

I think we are going to go for a Quinny as DP really likes it - and lots of people in classes have recommended them. There is a new one with a 360 degree swivel front wheel as I thought the front wheel that just moved was a bit limiting. its a 3 wheeler & a friend has given us the carrycot accessory and a few other bits.

Can't wait for the scan. I was feeling my uterus today (oo-er) and its feeling far bigger than 13 weeks. (not quite 25, goldenoldie!) I think its measuring 16-17 weeks. Obviously I am no expert but am thinking maybe am further on but remember someone earlier on mentioning they had a large uterus and normal sized baby...is that still the case? What did they say caused it? Can you tell I am nervously excited

Anyone know where to find good second-hand baby shops in London? I'm going to try and find a 2nd hand twin pram/buggy. Don't fancy paying out a fortune for a new one.

starry i had a already huge uterus (or womb as they called it) at my scans -normal size sac and baby, they didnt need to tell me it was lack of tummy muscles, i had already worked that out! they said something like 'your womb knows what to do and is doing it early.....' which means =no tummy muscles whatso ever!!! ah well!

major major dizzy spells today,horrible feeling.
many many congrats bonkerz on freds scan! so glad so much good news for us due in december.

aha, that explains it then as I have no stomach muscles to speak of and haven't for a number of years!

Goldenoldie - if you are in London then there will be loads of NCT nearly new sales around which are a goldmine for baby equipment and every one I have been to have at least a few doubles. The stuff is always in excellent condition as well (normally quite strict quality control). Go to this website for a list of NNS coming up in date order so scroll down for each saturday to see which ones are near you. A word of advice - get there as early as possible there are always huge queues. Also, try to contact the branch before to see if they let members in early (could be worth joining for this perk alone!!)

I just searched on google images for '14 weeks pregnant' and then had a good look at all the other mums the same gestation as me...phew - my bump size looks normal!

starrynight..quick question about nct when i was 8wks i asked the website to send me info pack about my local nct classes etc and never heard anything...where else can i get info from without phoning as i am rubbish on the phone..

oh be careful! found some horrendous images by searching google images for so many weeks pg. shudder
