And yes - I am feeling OK today.

Did anyone see the trains that were stranded yesterday? My mum was on one! She was stuck inside with no windows/doors opening for 2 and a quarter hours! The staff wouldn't let them get off or open the doors but eventually the people revolted and smashed the windows to get out...only to find the first class passengers had been let off over an hour and a half before!!

oh your poor mum SN! dp was in London and Liverpool St was closed - he had to take a very full bus, was not happy!

All your pre-preg clothes away, impressive! This would take me weeks, and I would be left with two or three elasticated items so I would find it v depressing. I am going to an evening 'do' on 8th and praying one of my more voluminous numbers will still fit. We have a wedding in SEPTEMBER pmsl.

No problem as soon as i find somthing to fit and looks ok i will let you know, Its so hard to find any thing that i like at the mo!! I am in size 12 pants already, waist is expanding yipppppppeeeeee.....

Agree we need a new positive thread, were all moving into the 2nd trimester yahhhhooooo we have done it.. Still feel like sh&t but very happy to be pregnant..

I am telling EVERYONE now. I am grabbing strangers in the street and saying, I'm pregnant d'y know. and in food shops I make it quite clear I'm eating for two! Told our babysitter last night she has looked after ds since he was tiny, she was so pleased
I have to make it a priority to tell the two pple I 'lied' to about it just being fat b4 scan

Going to tell everyone next Thurs will be 14 wks then... We were going to wait till i was 4 months its nice it being a secret too.

Gosh what a great day feels great to be me again and I'm looking forward to really throwing myself into the Dec thread now, I was a bit nervous before but I'm back and I'm happy. God it feels good to be smiling and singing and being silly again

So how are my girls? Are we all feeling ok? All sickness gone?

tc -good to see you on form again once we hear back from bonkerz (where are you girl????????) and starry gets her mmonday scan I hope we can start another thread -if anyone would rather not just tell me to shut up and i will!
my sickness has pretty much gone....waves of horrible nausea still but all is much better on the throwing up front.
minnie -cant believe youve kept the secret so well!!! people can now tell i'm pg by looking at me so you must be very trim indeedy!- or covered up well!LOL!
s/h, hmmmm, if you are really sure its what you want I say go for it! however i have often found in the past anything i buy early i see one i like better later on which drives me mad!having said that we are currently narrowing down our choice of buggies so wont be long in buying one tho.
today i got a babygrow for the baby (well obviously!) it was a big 'thing' for me to buy clothes for him/her, and say out loud -iyswim- i believe this baby is really going to arrive. i felt abit strange buying it, almost like a fraud .....how silly is that!

DQ not silly at all hun...we now have 2 items for the baby o and the suit i won which is weird cos wiht adam i hit 12wks and went shopping like a mad woman...this time i feel hesitant and worried about buying anything...although we do have a ton of baby clothes in boxes from adam which will all need to be washed etc. I have also been trying to find my ideal pram but without it costing too much as there is no way i can afford £400 for the nice ones with toddler seats. I will deffo need the seat but dont want to get a whole double pram only to then need another 6mths on [wishful thinking to have a 21/2yr old who will walk anywhere but i am hoping]..this way the pram will be useful throughout for baby and ds.

oh yes nemo, our dd2 will be 2 1/2 and well she may want to RUN off everywhere but i couldnt imagine shopping without somewhere to strap her into.so toying with double for short time or one with seat. dh NOt keen on seat ones but will insist he looks at both. its SO maddening when you have to trail around all over looking at buggies -wish every shop had every brand! dh wants the jane powertwin -scary money but hopefully worth selling on in that case. let me knwo what brand youre buying and also -if you wouldnt mind- which out of the emmaljunga and jane powertwin you prefer. i am dithering! made expensive buggy mistakes in past.....
