I feel rough all of a sudden. Never suffered in my last two pregnancies. All of a sudden feel dizzy and really tired. I suppose pregnancies can differ. Just the other two we so much the same.

memorylapse sending good sticky vibes your way

Kaylo · 10/09/2009 20:47

oooh, what was on your list?

Pickles?
Gherkins?
Mmmm, mint choc ices - oh I could just eat one of those!

sweetkitty · 10/09/2009 21:44

Have just stuffed myself with mini rolls and caramel cake bars still feel sick though, told one of my friends today she said I looked really tired and rough last Saturday. She's delighted but thinks I am insane, I did feel a bit as she had IVF to have her twins and I can fall pregnant in about 5 minutes.

memorylapse - sticky thoughts for you and everyone else

finalfurlong and dorothygale welcome and congrats stick yourselves on the list

pigleychez · 10/09/2009 21:51

SK - I too told a friend today who I met in hopsital with DD.
She was soo sweet and has offered to have DD if I need to go to appointments and offered to be my emergency call person if I suddenly go into labour in the night or something. Nice to know I dont have to worry about that side of things.

Ive had an attack of the munchies today! Crisps, choc, ice cream... very naughty but nice!

Not really many major symptoms here,
Bit of backache, the odd grumbles and sore boob moments, tiredness but no sickness.
Still feels weird to think im actually pregnant!

littleowls · 10/09/2009 22:10

Sounds like everyone is having a good time munching! I'm really into melon at the moment. I can eat a whole melon at lunchtime.

I had my MW appointment today. She gave me a huge pack and a book, filled in forms, she took lots of blood but failed twice so now I am a pin cushion! She then took my blood pressure which is usually high. It was 140/95!! she called the hospital and got me an appointment for next Wed. She said I may need medication. I'm now worried about the implications and know I'm going to be monitored weekly.

Need to be serene so it doesn't go higher, I may start meditating.

Sending calm and happy thoughts to all xx

TheHappyCamper · 11/09/2009 07:31

sadly it appears that I'm leaving you girls . AF arrived this morning, 5 days late. At least it happened early and I wasn't even 5 weeks. Feeling suprisingly ok about it really as my BFP was so very faint.

Just wanted to wish you all happy and healthy pregnancies and sendy lots of sticky stuff your ways xxxx

Kaylo · 11/09/2009 08:48

Hi Girls - welcome new girls!

sweetkitty I'm the same re: falling pregnant very quickly, ds was conceived on 3rd month trying, dd was an accident but had only been in the relationship with dh 3months, and this bfp happened first month.

pigleychez I'm not really getting many symptoms either, sore boobs at night, belly cramps constantly and I'm still off chocolate - I seem to want it but if I'm near it I don't want it - strange! I seem to be wanting more savoury things like the enchiladas I had yesterday and walkers roast chicken crisps! This indicates to me that I am indeed really pregnant as I craved crisps with my other - cheese and onion

littleowls is yoga an option for you at all? One of my friends is 25weeks pg and had very high blood pressure but she now has a yoga clas on a thurs and its much better now.

HappyCamper Is it definite? I'm so sorry honey. ((hugs))

I do have some baby news - my friend had her little boy last night - Dominic - I don'y know weights yet but I do know it sounds quick!! She had a sweep yesterday morning at 11am and he was born at 9:30pm(ish)

Hope you're all well xxxx

LuckyC · 11/09/2009 09:06

Hey all, and welcome new people!

I am finding it SO hard to know what I want to eat from day to day - things that were amazing yesterday are faintly repulsive now. Had salmon yesterday and would puke if I even saw it now. Yeeeeuuuurgh. (Chocoloate still fine thouggh thank God.)

Also, I know I promised to stop testing, but I am going to do just one more today... just one more time... am a proper addict.

memorylapse Go bean!

dorothygale Has it started to sink in yet? I was just the same, in total shock and very overwhelmed, but am settling down now. Take your time and go with the hormones. Is this your first?

happycamper So sorry and a big hug. Had a little cry when I read your post. See you back here very soon I hope.

LuckyC · 11/09/2009 09:09

PS Kaylo Just read the word 'enchiladas' in your post and now I want one really badly, right now! Mmmmmmmmmm, enchiladas........

FinalFurlong · 11/09/2009 09:10

thank you for the warm welcome!

Pigley - my DD is 18months. We are just starting to wean her off the breast now (she only has feeds once a day in the morning now)
As feeding her is making me even more exhausted i am sure!

Did another PT today and still only getting a very faint positive which is worrying me as i am over a week late now. Anyone else have this? No real symptoms either..

Kaylo · 11/09/2009 09:20

LuckyC - I could eat them all day long, If I had another dinner kit in I would have cooked them by now -
What? They're not a breakfast food? Bah - who cares??

finalFurlong A bfp is a bfp If you're worries you could perhaps get a CBD, that should reassure you.

xxx

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 11/09/2009 09:39

TheHappyCamper, I'm sorry to hear that. Good luck with TTC, I hope it happens for you -and sticks!- very soon. x

FinalFurlong, I'm still getting a fairly faint bfp (although it's getting gradually stronger) it won't be a nice strong reassuring pink line til about 7 weeks iirc, but yes, a bfp is a bfp!

Last time I was pregnant all I wanted was fruit, salads and cheese, hope my cravings will be as healthy this time!

How's everyone feeling today?

carikube8 · 11/09/2009 09:47

Still not feeling hungry and actually starting to feel a bit sick now as I have been trawling through recipe books (DH wants me to do something 'more interesting' with our salmon tonight). Can't face the thought of cooking it at all tbh so he might have to put up with good old boring style after all....

TwentiethCenturyHeffa · 11/09/2009 10:51

Hello everyone,
Tentatively joining this thread since I just got my BFP today. Looks like I'm due on the 17th April.

Good to see some of the July 2008 lot on here as well - hello Sweetkitty and Pigleychez (haven't read the whole thread so sorry if I've missed anyone).

I'm so surprised - we were trying but were ill this month so didn't really bother so can't quite believe it's actually happened! Still a little bit in shock but very pleased

sweetkitty · 11/09/2009 11:03

Heffa - congratulations and another fellow Julyer, there must be something about our babies reaching 13 months and wanting another one

Finalfurlong - I weaned DD3 off the breast the week before I got my BFP still feel a bit but know it was for the best

happycamper - oh no so sorry to hear your news, sounds like a chemical pregnancy but it hurts all the same, last month I was over a week late and when my period came it came with a vengence and then some, but 27 days later I had a BFP hope you will have one again soon too, look after yourself x

I have just had some toast and houmous, yum, it's chick peas must be healthy feel like throwing up when brushing my teeth which is a dead cert sign for me and feeling really tired and emotional. I am a bit all over the place, I was on ADs for anxiety mainly but stopped taking them when I started TTC, I'm so up and down right now though, on the one hand I am so willing this baby to stick, on the other am thinking I am really selfish to my other 3 having another one as I will be cripped with SPD soon and are they going to miss out on things as we will have 4 DC to cloth and feed! Sorry on a bit of a rant with myself today

pigleychez · 11/09/2009 11:08

Happycamper- Sorry to hear that. Good luck trying again.

Kaylo- Congrats to your friend!

Heffa- Hello!! Long time no speak! Hope you and your DD are well. Pop onto the July 08 thread and say hello.
On here (so far!) theres Me, Sweetkitty and Minniemum(previously Min192) and now you... Congrats. I cant beleive theres now 4 of us! How spooky!

Do you mean 17th MAY as opposed to April?

Hope everyones feeling well and happy

Hobnobfanatic · 11/09/2009 11:08

So sorry to hear your news, HappyCamper . Will be thinking of you.

I hope everyone else is doing okay.

I feel that 'very slightly nauseous and not sure what I want to eat' feeling. Generally stuff like toast, crumpets, banana, egg or cheese are tolerated. With my last pg, this went on for 9 months, with the 'okay foods' getting fewer and fewer with each passing day. Really craved salt and vinegar and ribena last time too, but that no sign of cravings yet.

But, I haven't slept properly in about five days now. Keep waking every hour or two, and can't sleep from about 4am, despite being exhausted. So annoying, as I know that as the pg develops, it will be hard to get a good night's sleep with the uncomfortable bump, kicking baby, endless loo trips, and aching body... Arhghghghghghgh. Anyone else going through pregnancy insomnia?

memorylapse · 11/09/2009 11:20

well have just come back from the scan...and saw a 6 week sac, with a yolk sac...and....a little flashing blob..sonographer very happy..said that everything appeard as it should and to have a follow up scan in 10 days

memorylapse · 11/09/2009 11:22

oh..just seen your post happy camper..so sorry

LuckyC · 11/09/2009 11:59

memorylapse that's great news! Phew

LuckyC · 11/09/2009 12:09

hobnobfanatic Me too! I go to sleep fine and then wake up an hour later. And I am awake again by 4 or 5. A N N O Y I N G.

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 11/09/2009 12:19

Memorylapse, YAY! Brilliant news.

Sweetkitty, I had SPD from 11 weeks last time so I'm pretty much anticipating that I'll be wracked with it soon too.

Plus our bathroom is on the ground floor and our bedroom is a loft conversion so I'll have to get down two flights of stairs to go for a wee in the night. I forsee trouble ahead! My squeamish dp may have to put up with me having a chamber pot towards the end! lol

lizzie9442 · 11/09/2009 12:19

hi everyone just got back from scan and I got good and bad news.

Good news is that baby was there with a hear beat and looked perfect.

Bad news is that I have a cyst that is 10cm which is quite big on myu right ovary and I'm really worried now. I had my bloods done so they can jsut check that it is not a harmful cyst. They said that they will check again at 12 week scan to see if itsn got bigger, if it has then they will have to do something to remove it. I'm so scared now and am thinking the worst.

Has anyone else had any experience of this? xx

OP posts:
memorylapse · 11/09/2009 12:41

Lizzie..fab new about the scan..try not to worry about the cyst..I had something similiar when I was preg with dd1..but when they re scanned later on..it had gone

pamelat · 11/09/2009 12:43

happycamper, sorry for your news. Good luck in future months.

I am just wanting to eat curry constantly, have had 3 in one week which seems a bit ridiculous.

We told my brother last night. My parents already knew from my mum guessing and they were all round for tea. My DH said that they had to know so that it could be talked about. I dont really mind them knowing but feels very odd. Its such early days that its almost like telling someone that you had sex on a certain day rather than baby like, IYKWIM.

I am having a tired and hungry day but am sure that last time I felt awful by now.

We go on holiday tomorrow (UK break) and really hoping I dont throw up all week.
