Oh memorylapse, I'm glad to hear the bleeding has stopped but I understand the reassurance from a scan will be the only thing that settles your anxiety.

It is good that your symptoms have returned tho!!

((hugs))

Jan9ne · 10/09/2009 11:26

Keeping everything crossed for you still Memorylapse. The return of nausea sounds like a v good sign. I had a miscarriage some years ago and symptoms disappeared during the m/c and didn't return xx

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 10/09/2009 11:50

Hello folks, hope everyone's doing okay today.

memorylapse I hope it's just one of those things and all is well, fingers crossed for you!

No MS here (yet!?) but I don't really have much of an appetite, especially in the mornings. All I managed was a small apple, I can't face bread or cereal. Everything smells funny.

dorothygale · 10/09/2009 12:00

I have just found out that I am pregnant - 5-6 weeks apparently (no idea how this was worked out).
It is very much wanted/ planned - i was just about to go on course of clomid (was at doctors to work out why I hadn't had a period) but now I am in a state of absolute panic- about all the things that could go wrong and about the huge change to my life that it will mean....my DP is very confused as to why I am not ecstatic- it is just such a shock!

Kaystar · 10/09/2009 12:17

Fingers and toes crossed for you memorylapse. I really hope that the return of the sickness and that the bleeding has stopped are the good signs that they seem to be. Good luck for the scan - thinking of you.

Welcome Finalfurlong and dorothygale - really good to see so many here.

pamelat · 10/09/2009 12:37

memorylapse, fingers crossed.

My friend bled a lot and was convinced she had miscarried but scan showed the baby was ok, so fingers crossed for you.

My symptoms come and go on a daily basis. I dont feel pregnant today for example but its such early days that I am guessing its normal. My boobs are not sore and I am just a tiny bit tired. Am sure its normal. good luck.

pigleychez · 10/09/2009 12:39

welcome to finalfurlong and dororthygale

Furlung- how old is your DD?

Memory- Like the others have said they are good signs so fingers crossed for you

James- No MS here either, but then i was never sick at all with DD.. Hoping for a repeat preformance!

Dorothy- Its worked out from the first day of your last period. So when you miss your period you are already 4 weeks preg. Odd I know but hey!

Mums been on the phone buggin me to tell everyone at a the family party we are going to on sat. Far too early at 4.5 weeks! but aparrently its not for "Nowadays" Just know mum will be making little suggestive comments to everyone!

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 10/09/2009 13:09

Pigley, I know it's usually worked out from the first day of your last period, but when I spoke to the doctor he said only the time from ovulation to when af should be due is "fixed" (usually 2 weeks) and the time up to ovulation is usually counted as two weeks even if it was longer.

(I for example have very long cycles ranging from 39-44 days, so if I went from the first day of my last period I would be 6 1/2 wks along already, but I know for certain -because I used ovulation testing- that I ovulated just over two weeks ago, so I'm taking it as 4 1/2 wks, until a dating scan tells me otherwise)

Complicated!!

Sarahlou8 · 10/09/2009 15:04

Thinking of you today memorylapse, hope everything turns out okay.

I am now 5 weeks+4 and am beginning to worry about my lack of symptoms. Apart from a stinking rotten cold (never knew how good echinacea worked until I couldn't take them)
I have had no sickness and feel no different. My boobs hurt like mad but they always do just before AF. Did another ebay test on Tuesday and line came up instantly but still finding it hard to believe. I was queasy all day every day by now with my previous two!

Got 1st Doctors appointment next Thursday, have had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment with my own doctor!

Hope everyone else is ok x

Kaylo · 10/09/2009 15:31

OhMyGOD!!!

Biggest spider ever in my bathroom - no-one in the house except dd(4yo) to rescue me from it. Jesus is was at least as big as my palm and it had a huge body and could even see the pincer things!!

I'm terrified of spiders but am proud to say it lives no longer. I'm shaking head to foot now but at least thats one less spider in the world to worry about!!

xxxx

I know there are bigger things to be scared of but this was a very scary spider!!!

lizzie9442 · 10/09/2009 16:39

I am really scared of spiders to so your not on your own there!

memorylapse - fingers crossed everything will be ok and good sign that the bleeding has stopped.

I rang my doctor to day to ask about an early scan and he rang back and I have one tomorrow at 9.40am which is really quick. I thought I would have to wait at least a week!
I will be 7 weeks tomorrow by my period so fingers crossed I will see a heart beat and a healthy baby. I am so scared as my last 3 pregnancies have all been bad news at early scans but I have had no beeding so am praying that it will be fine. Its so scary and I am so nervous about it. I couldnt go through another mc. My sickness is so strong I can barely move around so am hoping that is a good sign. I will just have to wait and see what happens xx

memorylapse · 10/09/2009 17:08

well I can hardly lift my head off the sofa because of the nausea..Ive been retching all day..have spoken to a midwife friend who said thats areally good sign as sickness would not come back with a vengeance if the pregnancy had failed...I hope she is right..

Kaylo · 10/09/2009 17:39

I'm sorry (yet not sorry iykwim) that so many people are sick already - very good signs but not nice all the same.

lizzie Fantastic that you haven't got long to wait for a scan - hopefully you'll see your healthy little bean and all will be fine, let us know how you get on

memorylapse Hope the sickness isn't too bad and you get the reassurance you need!

Just thinking about a lot of you are having Dr's and MW appointments already - am I leaving it too long? I was intending to wait until I was about 10wks along but now I'm not so sure...

I'll be back later - got to go to Asda as I'm starving and I need some Old El Paso Enchiladas

xxxxxxx

Meanbeansmum · 10/09/2009 17:52

Memory, it all sounds like good signs to me, hang in there.xxx

Kaylo, lmao at the spider lol! You can buy spider catchers with a long stick lol! You should buy one for those spider emergencies lol!

Is it just me girls, I have some days where I feel very pregnant and others where I don't feel pg at all????????

Meanbeansmum · 10/09/2009 17:54

Motherbeyond, yes me too, I am starving all of the time! Craving chips, pot noodles and slush puppies. Can't be good can it lol!

chalkeyb · 10/09/2009 18:12

Oh my goodness - I am also craving bad things, just keep eating chunks of cheese and fruit gums - I will be a beach ball soon

Welcome to our new friends.

Memory- I have all fingers and toes crossed for you xx

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 10/09/2009 18:18

If I'm perfectly honest...

I JUST want Thorntons.

(I wish this was a new development)

chalkeyb · 10/09/2009 18:22

Very upset by the fact that chocolate is making me feel a bit sick at the moment - surely that can't be normal

pigleychez · 10/09/2009 18:25

James- I used to work in Thorntons!--- I got FAT instantly!!

With DD it was Pizza hut!
I must admit to have Pizza hut for dinner on Tuesday!- Although I think thats more gluttony rather than Craving!

I generally want to eat shit things at the mo.. Crisp and chocolate bars.

TheHappyCamper · 10/09/2009 19:41

can't keep up girls!

welcome to more newbies - hope you have successful pg's

memorylapse - I have everything crossed for you. Def don't give up yet - strange things do happen and I'm sure your bean is hanging on in there

no symptoms here ... not convinced I'm pg tbh but AF is now 4 days late. Might do another test at the weekend to see if there is more than a very faint line! Feeling quite relaxed tho that what will be will be

sticky thoughts for us all xxx

memorylapse · 10/09/2009 19:49

omg..I could just eat pizza hut..

carikube8 · 10/09/2009 19:56

I haven't felt hungry for days - couldn't even get excited at the bun counter in the supermarket yesterday. Apart from that (as that definitely isn't normal behaviour!) still don't have any feelings of pg yet.

Got appt for first MW visit for 3 weeks time - MW was a bit surprised as it's not that long since she signed me off from DD (5 months) and I don't suppose she'll be the last to make a comment....(tho she's lovely so I'll forgive her!)

Kaylo · 10/09/2009 20:00

Mmmmmmm.......Enchiladas Old El Paso style!!!

Kaylo · 10/09/2009 20:08

Sorry, just eating my tea

I'm another one who doesn't always feel pregnant. I just feel tired most of the time, I'll definitely feel pregnant however the minute I retch at my coffee - not a day goes by where I don't have at least 2 mugs of coffee (tea gives me heartburn) and I'm going to miss them when MS kicks in

So how is everyone?

xxx

memorylapse · 10/09/2009 20:44

Ive just sent DH to Tesco with a strange list of random food requests
