I'm so pleased your scan went well and that you feel you can finally relax.

I know I shouldn't wish time away but I can't wait until the middle of July is here.

Exams - finished
College - finished
Heap of birthdays, christenings, weddings etc - finished
PLUS I will have had my special London scan to make sure this bean has a healthy heart.

And by the 20th July I will have even had my 20 week scan. Ahhhhhh I can't wait

Haven;t posted for a couple of weeks but pleased to see so many of you have had good scans.

DQ - so pleased your scan went well. it makes such a difference to be able to relax a little.

Bonkerz - don't worry at all about not hearing a heart beat at this stage. I listed in at 11 plus abit (with the MW) and heard nothing but rather unpleasant squelching noises that I'm sure had more to do with the curry I ate the evening before thatthe placenta. But, I had my 12wk scan on Thursday and all was well!!! Hurraaahhhhh. Feels so good after 3 mcs. Just need to get past the 16 week mark and I will really be feeling fab. Were you on the blighted due August 05 thread? Can't remember whether I know you from that thread or another one.

Just to update my stats - do we do it here or what - not sure how that one works - I am due now on 11th December which makes me 13+1 I think.

Sweetheart - can't believe you are 20 weeks in July! You must be one of the first ones due 1n Dec.

Chickpea, yes i was on the due in aug thread, so many of us now having better luck!!

Am gonna talk to dh and see if we can find a heartbeat later but i have promised my self im not gonna stress about it and if none later will try again next week. DS told his teacher today about the baby and she was over the moon cos she knew i had a mc in aug! Have started planning my maternity leave, being self employed makes it harder!!

Nemo i would highly recommend the sleep easy essence from avent that i got from boots, it helps me sleep and eases the ms.

this pregnancy is my 8th as i'd had one terminated ( deeply deeply regret, was under pressure from partner at the time) and 2 ectopics. but then had 4 babies! i'm not sure if i'm ready for this one as i am now 37 and no spring chicken any more.

kyle is 10, emma is 9, ben is 4 and liam is 3. eldest 2 live with their dad. how are you? i'm not too bad except for being very tired and feel a bit queasy at times.

im good now morning sickness eased off last week.Just the constant exhaustion at the min..lol Am going to see midwife in the morning and hoping to get her to sort me out a scan. Do you have a scan/have had one? I had one at 8wks but hospital now want me to wait until 20 wks which i dont want to do as my last mc was amissed mc at 9wks in dec.

i bet thats worrying you then! yes ive not long had a scan, last week. i was 11+5. next one at 24 wks so wont know for a while yet if its a girl or boy

how long was you in labour with your first? as you can half the time for the second baby

with ds i was induced but labour was only 90mins..so 45mins will do me

yes, the 20 wk scan usually picks up what sex it is so 24 should be good

omg thats fast!!! my 4rth baby was 2 and half hours first contraction to out!

FOUND A HEARTBEAT. Dh and i got the doppler out and at first heard the whooshing of the placenta but dh had a root around and we heard a clip clop sound!! quite fast and quiet but defo the heartbeat and not placenta!!

All is fine here i think, (just up the walls with worrie about the bubs) whats new...
Had a horrible headache yesterday, couldnt sleep last night i even ended up in tear!!! was mad at DP for nothing.. God my hormones are up and down!
Will be having my scan on the 14th of June, I really cant wait but nervous at the same time.
Bought new cloths the wkend, pants dont fit TO SMALL!!!!! tops dont fit at waist and baggy on top. o well ...

Made the mistake of taking the Sea Bands off last night - they chaffe like all hell and can hurt after a while. MAJOR sickness. Yuk.

Scan on the 15th. Should be a little over 13 weeks.

I need new bras already.

Bonkerz I'm so glad you found the heartbeat. Do remember that you can pick up the sound of your own heartbeat in your belly too. The two are pretty distinctive from each other thuogh

Having a few panic's in this corner - I'm just dreading going to the hospital on Thursday incase I get bad news. Now would just be the worst time to get it as I have dd's birthday party on Saturday and my two final exams next week which I really need to be able to concentrate on.
Keep feeling my uterus and think it has got smaller but I'm not sure if it's just coz it's moved higher into my belly - when does it do this - someone did say the other day but I can't remember.

Anyway, just another morning of irrational fear hear in the Sweetheart corner!!!!
