I am so glad to hear from you, I have thought about you probably every day for the last 7 weeks. I wish dearly that it could be easier for you somehow but I imagine that would feel 'wrong' too. You sound incredibly strong and I will always think of you and I send positive loving vibes for your gradual adjustment to your and Niamh's journey.

Hey woolyjo, I didn't post when I first read your news because I was too upset for you to bring my thoughts to coherence on here. I'm sure that you feel like the world should have stopped. I'd like to wish you all the best for your continued journey back into real life, and especially for ttc. I found that particularly hard hormonally after my mmc, and as someone who has been there before Naimh, I hope that you manage to keep perspective and stay strong. Life is just so unfair for some and I hope and pray that your next birth is a joyful occasion. As my LO is kicking around in my belly as I type, I am so sobered by your experience. If MN crossed fingers count in the balance of karma, I think you're headed for a good year!

Oh my goodness how a month passes with a newborn. I guess it's really rather too late to post on here but feels wrong not to after feeling so supported on this thread.

My beautiful daughter Anoushka was born on the 31st of July. She was a very straightforward HBAC, though rather long at 12 hours. 8.5 lbs and a very heavy pushing stage as I had no pushing contax whatsoever and head not engaged just had to push like mad to get her out due to threats to transfer from midwife.

Was a wonderful outcome am elated to have managed the home birth naturally, as they don't do gas and air over here.

Please excuse my belated announcement and sorry that I haven't been back to read all the posts, just been hectically busy with my toddler and newborn.
