here we go...
Guess in the next one will be the one where we'll be waiting for the first kick! hooray it's the weekend! i haven't had any stretchy stomach feelings, maybe a quiet period pain rumble (!? is that what you mean?) well what a beautiful day i'm lying on sofa under a blanket, laptop on lap and sky baby channel on in background (i've just shed a few tears of happiness for a manchester mum who has just screamed her head off and given birth to a baby boy).

can't remember who asked - cads? re: measurement of c to r . i had one scan at 11+1 babe was 4.5 and another at 12+2 and it measured 6.0 cm.

have good sats jen

HellKat · 19/05/2005 22:07

Thankyou Twinkle,Cads and Rodeo!
Ohhh feel rather privilidged Rodeo to know that I have a stalker .
Thanks again all for letting me stay! Would'nt be the same joining another "Due in etc" thread. It's weird thinking I'm only 10/11 weeks behind you all yet seems so far when comparing due dates. According to that site, I'm in my fourth week. Still in shock!
Have a good night all. xxxxxxxxxx

Enthusia · 20/05/2005 08:27

HellKat

Congrats!!!! And so well deserved!!!!! Please stay on here, otherwise everyone will join the Jan thread and the Nov thread will be no more, think the Jan thread people also might get a bit pissed off with us gatecrashing!!!!

hamster · 20/05/2005 09:11

Mornin' all

Congrats Hellkat to you and your man. You must have been busy!!

Beksmum, have a good night tonight. I have forgotten what outdoors+night time is like!
With regards to the 'can't see feet for my belly thing', well I am at the 'can't see my knickers' stage. And my side profile is just as discusting. It's like a jelly that's not quite set.
None of my jeans fit anymore , but I am determined not to go down the jogging bottom route(I did last time and I think I looked like Waynetta Slob).

Well, feeling particularly naff today. Glad it's Friday-no work for 2 whole days. So, so tired. Anyone have a miracle cure?.....I wish!

I have been having like aching pains(not bad pains) round my tum the last couple of days. Could it just be where everything is adjusting?

So how is everybody today?

HellKat · 20/05/2005 09:39

Thankyou so much Hamster and Enthusia!
Not so much been busy (nudge nudge wink wink) looks like we got pg first attempt!
Ok feeling very real now. got dating scan 13 th July!

twinkle1 · 20/05/2005 11:40

hi hamster, the pains u r describing sound like round ligament pains, which are just like you thought everything stretching or more specificaly large ligaments that attatch to your uterus starting to be stretched the things they should tell u before you get pregnant eh????
the good news is these pains only last for about 4 weeks in most women
twinkle

BEKsmum · 20/05/2005 11:41

Morning girls, 'cor go out for night and you have to have 10 minutes just to catch up on the gossip.

Had a really great time last night, thought I was going to burst I laughed so much, definitely does you good to go out with the girls every now and then, glad I wasn't any further on though 'cos I think with all the hilarity I would have gone into labour.

Feeling the pain this morning though, bub definitely didn't like all the rich food and kept me awake for most of the night, slept most of the night sitting up! and feeling very sick & headachey this morning, just like I'd been on the booze really, except all I got was a pint of diet coke and a water!

Chacha sweetheart ahh please don't be cross with me , someone always has to be the groups whipping boy it was just you last week, we'll wind up someone else next week I promise!!! By the way girls I can take as good as I give so fire away with the wind ups

Hamster hope you're feeling a bit better, no miracle cures I'm afraid, but I think the achey pains are normal. I've got to that point where I can't sit with my legs tucked under me for long now as it starts to hurt and ache, so I think everythings just stretching and loosening up.

lol at your discription, I look like a part deflated bouncy castle all the time so don't worry there will always be someone on here who looks a lot lot worse than you ever will!

Sod it just to be different and to prove we can wind up someone else other than Chacha I disagree HK you should definitely be banned to the January thread Not really sweetheart of course you're staying we wouldn't have it any other way and I'm sure none of the other threads would tolerate us gatecrashing to talk to you anyway so I guess you're stuck with us.

Better go as ds & I didn't get up until 9:15am and we've been playing trains since so I'd better get him ready for pre-school. Have a great daya nd I hope everyone else is doing ok, catch up with you later.

SharonTW1 · 20/05/2005 12:01

hello everyone , sorry not been oin for a while been so busy at work, got broasdband at home now but need to sort an account out.
Thanks for rememebring CADS yes I had my scan yesterday it was brilliant, the baby was kicking and jumping around all over I couldn't believe it, at one point it faced the scan and you could see all it's face - really unbelieveable. I'm 14 weeks today , they've changed my dates to the 18th Nov !!
Really happy today and relieved.
Hope everyone's fine, be in touch soon

SharonTW1 · 20/05/2005 12:05

Diddle hasn't popped over for a while?

Have a lovely afternoon everyone...xx

ChaCha · 20/05/2005 14:04

Forgot to ask - when are we supposed to stop taking the folic acid? I have been forgetting recently

bamik · 20/05/2005 15:53

Hey Cha Cha,

I stopped as soon as I reached 13 weeks. Although I think I was meant to stop at 12!

Bami xx

busyalexsmummy · 20/05/2005 15:54

12 weeks chacha

hamster · 20/05/2005 16:09

Afternoon,
Still feeling like I need a pair of match sticks. Managed to get an hours nap in though, thanks to a BIG bottle for ds!
He is soooo needy ATM bless him.
He's at the stage where he wants to do everything, but can't quite. He usually ends up flat on his face or crying with frustration! Poor little man!

Anyway, I've been doing lots of reading today(through my 2 foot pile of baby mags-sad-eh?!) and have managed to conclude that my achy-ness must be my ligaments, as you said Twinkle. I'd still rather have someone tell me than to read it. Makes me feel like I'm not alone, if that makes any sense! So thankyou Twinkle! You can be my online health consultant now! LOL

Hi Sharon, will introduce myself! I am 16+1 today, due the 4th Nov. It's always nice to hear about scans. I could come and watch them all. It's so crazy that they're kicking and so active at just a few weeks old. Congrats anyway!

That's a point....with having such a great(most of the time) job, why is it that most of the sonographers are miserable old crows? I felt like mine couldn't wait to get me out of the room! Perhaps I was just unlucky.

Anyone got anything good planned for the wkend?

hamster · 20/05/2005 16:11

Oh yeah, I was told by my doc to take folic acid from as soon as I found out I was pg up until 13 weeks.
