Afternoon,

I can't find a due in Feb thread, but I suppose it's very early still!

Got my BFP on tuesday, with a due date of Feb 3. It's still not quite sunk in - I've had to take another three tests since then just to check

I'm spending far too much time already planning for this baby when I should be working, please tell me I'm not the only one who is completely obsessed. And that I will calm down eventually!

Anyway, would love to chat with some other newly upduffed types.

Hi Stumblebum I think the first scan is normally 12 weeks and then the anomaly scan is at 20 weeks. I can't wait to see my little one on the screen!

Hi all, can I join this thread too. I am on the January one but as my due date is the 31st of January I guess Im better off here! I have one dd who is 1yo tomorrow!

Morning sickness is really kicking in for me - I'm fed up.

Devotion - I'm glad to hear the seabands work, I ordered some from Amazon and hopefully they will come today.

Cailin - Good news about the yoga. I love yoga, but I thought I would have to give up until I could join an antenatal class. Did he say anything about postures to avoid?

irrationalmother and Ktpie How many weeks pg are you now? I was sure I was 6 and a half but have just used a different calculator that says Im 7!

My morning sickness is coming and going at the mo. I have a few aches and pains in my lower stomach but I think its trapped wind

Just had a BFP confirmed! Did a test last night and very faint (first response), retried this morning and definite line.

I have a DS7 and DD20months, so this will be interesting. Calculated due date as 21 Feb.

Will be booking into an EPU as soon as decently allowed as I'm ancient (40) and had a miscarriage before my daughter was born. They found a heartbeat at 5w6d with her and it is so reassuring when you know that hurdle has been crossed.

Update on seabands - they work! I feel miles better. Still don't want to eat but that horrible constant nauseous feeling has almost completely gone. Amazing, I really wasn't expecting them to work.

hello, i'm feeling extremley sorry for myself today... i am feeling depressed at the thought of feeling this sick again for months.

i did not believe it was possible but i actually think i am worse then last time.

i'm pysically exhausted, dh had to go into work late so i could go back to bed. i just feel like i am constantly about to vomit. its torture and it only started a few days ago.

i feel guilty because im so looking forward to meeting this new little person, i dont want to spend the next few months moaning!

why havent they worked out how to deal with morning sickness and why do only some people get it? not fair. with my first i only felt a bit queasy around 11am each day and it went as soon as i ate.

just had my lunch and i feel like its about to come up... dd2 is pacing around wanting to get outside but i feel like curling into a ball in bed.

i need one large kick up the butt

Don't apologise devotion,morning sickness is completely vile. Yesterday I was crying and wailing to H that I couldn't possibly go through weeks and weeks of feeling this bad.
Other than the bands, the only thing that is helping me is downing a big glass of water when I feel nauseous - it makes me sick, but I do feel better afterwards.

I keep telling myself as well that morning sickness is supposed to be a good sign, it means your body is producing lots of hormones etc etc.

Oh no poor sick ladies! I've had the paranoia about not feeling too symptomatic but I am knackered and totally clumsy still. And needing to eat. But last time it really kicked in around 6.5 weeks and I'm guessing I'm not quite there yet. I'm hoping that working very little will help too but I guess that's counteracted by chasing a 10 month old teething crawler!

I'm off to France this weekend for my grandparents' surprise diamond wedding anniversary party and I'm really excited about spending time with family as well as telling them I'm expecting again.

Have any of you named your LOs yet? We have a Tooby (as in baby-to-be as well as number two, very twee I know!).

I am managing to keep sickness at bay by eating fig rolls My awful tiredness seems to have gone, I was working from home last Friday and had to switch the phone off and go to bed for an hour in the afternoon as I just couldn't work and kept bursting into tears. Luckily it seems better now, which is just as well as DD gets me up at 6.30 and then it's nonstop all day! Sympathies to all of you feeling awful hopefully it will pass soon.

Laura- I work it out as being 6 and a half weeks but the doctor this morning said I was coming up to 6 weeks, not much help!

Devotion - I feel similar I'm rubbish at being pregnant, it makes me feel rubbish, also we weren't really trying for another yet and I had been drinking / not taking folic acid etc up until I realised I was pregnant last week so I already feel guilty about not making as much effort in this pregnancy as I did with DS.

I must get some sea bands, had a look in Tescos this morning but they didn't have any, will try boots tomorrow. The sickness is making me feel rubbish.

I've had 3 naps so far today, one whilst eating my breakfast, feeling shattered.

Hmmm fig rolls sound good.

I am one of those annoying mums that have never had sickness so I dont know what it's like but the way you are describing it I am glad I have never had it! (touch wood)

This is my 3rd and I am only 4 weeks so you never know I just might!

I'm a first timer and at the moment would love morning sickness. As don't feel very PG at the moment other than feeling a bit more tired than normal. Please remind me of this if it kicks in

We had an IUI on 23rd May and so i think we are 4+4 today

Makingafamily - trust me, you are not missing anything! with my first pregnancy i had no symptoms until 8 weeks and then i only felt queasy late morning until i had a snack... oh why cant it be like that again.

so hopefully you will only get mild symptoms, it makes it much more enjoyable. i just want to wish these weeks away now.

Bettyjack - thats not fair ... lucky you!

I pulled out all of my "going out date" veg from fridge and made a soup, just had a great big bowl and it has sorted me out.

I've had quite a few respite moments this afternoon from the sickness, not sure what it was that helped.

ktpie - my boots didnt sell them, got them from an independent chemist. you can also buy them direct from, seabands.

if you cant find them i think i have a spare pair so i could post them to you.

Got any appointment at the E.P.A.U tomorrow, fingers crossed it is all okay.

Question - does any one else have a really warm tummy and boobs? Anyone I speak to thinks it odd.

HI everyone.. got my BFP today in a bit ot a shock.. I had resigned myself to having no more babies as hubby was booked for the snip.. which he had on Monday!! Then today I got the BFP.. So is DH.
This will be our 4th baby and I think I am due about the 17th Feb.. Maybe I should change my name to threeplusone...!!!!
Think will make sure everything is ok before i do that.. But big HELLO to everyone.. and heres to our journeys over the next 9 months

twoplusone - see? it was meant to be! well you have great gaps and two older helpers. everything will work out great. I bet dh is shocked. my dh said he is having the snip after this baby is born (our 3rd) so i hope the same thing happens to us because i'd really like four

preggybear - goodluck tomorrow. i'll say a little prayer for you but you'll be fine. warm tummy and boobs is not something i normally get but we're all different and get some strange symptoms.

Hi adding myself to the list, no symptoms yet just tired. I've stopped smoking the day after BFP so that is/was really hard, i miss it sooooooo much. ( I know its worth it I'm just moaning!)

Hey MyNameIsInigoMontoya - How did the doctors go? I have to admit my doctor (a female one who is actually pregnant) was really blase about it) I thought she would show just a tiny bit of enthusiasm - oh well! Do you feel better now you have told your parents? I'm itching to tell my friends but have managed to keep it to only 4 people so far. I'm sure when I've gone past the 12 week stage I will be shouting it from the roof tops.

Feeling reasonably okay but have contracted a urinary tract infection (nice) so have to dose myself up with anti-biotics! Have stopped feeling so sick, but feeling very tired constantly at the moment and I'm still spotting a bit but no pain so fingers crossed everything will be okay.

Good news preggybear

That's great news preggybear. A heartbeat rapidly diminishes the chances of a mc. I'm going to try to hold out to two weeks Friday before going for a scan. Luckily I live near St Georges, Tooting, in London and they have a walk in epu and will scan anyone at any stage! To be honest, I'm not sure I will be able to hold out.

Call be Apple, as that seems easier!

apples- I had my eldest in Tooting in 1996.. I spent 9weeks there!!!! from 08/08/96-10/10/96

DS1 was born in Frimley Park in 2004 and DS2 was born in Viersen (Germany) 2007.
This one will be in Bielefeld in germany..

Yes I am a forces wife..

But TBH I cant remember having Morning ssickness like this with my others.. I just feel drained and sick constantly.. Hopefully good sign.. dont think i get a scan until 12-15weeks here.. off to see the nurse tommorrow to get it confirmed.. but 2 tests with a BFP have done it for me TBH.

Have told a few people not very good at secrets but everyone knows me as a lday who likes to party and seem as Iwont be.. and we have a lot of functions coming up everyone is going to guess.. Fingers crossed and hoping the journey to 12weeks goes fast then I can relax (well we all can abit more)
