Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Kayzr · 28/05/2009 21:21

I don't think so. Dad did think it was probably going to be one of either of the boys as he thought I would have told him before telling the world on FB.

Kayzr · 29/05/2009 07:17

Good morning!!!

DS2 slept in his cot from half 8 until 6!! It is the first time he has gone in his cot before we have gone up to bed.

Hope you all have the lovely sunshine that I have!

bumpsnowjustplump · 29/05/2009 08:49

Lovely sunny day here but too tired to enjoy it... DS had me up all night and dd has had me up all morning so I am tres tired...

Sorky you should receive something today and before you tell me off it wasn't me it was Owen!!!!!

Right off to feed my porky pig

Diege · 29/05/2009 09:22

Morning! Lovely sunny day here too, although slightly nervous as I will have 4 children with me today!
LB, sorry about rubbish night - and it seemed so hopeful after they crashed out last night!
KAYZ, your sister is very strange
Hope everyone is well and enjoying the sun; meant to be a good weekend too
I musy start to think about packing my hospital bag - just seems too far away, but don't want to get caught out! Had very bad cramps all night - not contractions which may mean nothing, or could be cervix softening up etc based on past experiences. They came on after mw manipulated baby's head yesterday and have only stopped this morning!

Kayzr · 29/05/2009 09:27

Just been looking at having a night in London in November. Mum might be taking one of her dogs to Discover Dogs so I thought about going down to help out. So I had a look around and to stay in the Hilton on Park Lane is £279 a night!!!!

That is twice as much as we paid to stay in the Hilton at Wembley for 3 nights last year!!

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 29/05/2009 10:05

Morning! Beautiful day
MIL and SIL arrive from Ireland this afternoon. They're staying til Sunday.

Kay - I'm sure you should be able to get another hotel cheaper. Have you tried lastminute.com?

Diege - good luck with the 4 children and yes - get that bag packed!!!

BNJP - sorry for bad night. Take it easy.

DS feeding at the moment. Will try sling again in a minute once he's had his fill!

Diege · 29/05/2009 10:43

Morning SES! Good luck with your visitors! Yes, must get bag done. At the moment having a sneaky go on the computer while children run around like wild things .
KAYZ, that's Park Lane for you! Is there a specific part of London you need to be in?
Wondcering how NAT is getting on. Has anyone heard from her?
Right, it's gone quiet, better investigate!

Kayzr · 29/05/2009 10:50

Near Earls court would be nice but that is also one of the most expensive areas. Central is good but I'm extremely used to the tube so I don't really mind.

Nowhere near an airport because I am a huge plane spotter and would never leave!!!

bumpsnowjustplump · 29/05/2009 10:58

There is a premier lodge at waterloo that is central and probably the cheapest in central london..

Try lastminute.com or expedia that is where I got my deal

Kayzr · 29/05/2009 11:00

I normally use expedia and lastminute. I am sick of them though as DH said he is going to take me away for my birthday next year so I am looking for places to go for that too. I might as well become a travel agent!!

idreamofbeanie · 29/05/2009 11:18

Kayz - I use laterooms.com and usually find a decent deal. It's not the easiest site to search on but I think it's cheaper than lastminute.

Diege - good luck with the 4 kids!

BNJP - for rubbish night.

Ses - hope you have a nice time with MIL and SIL. Hopefully DS will get into the habit of napping on them occasionally. Sounds like you are both getting on really well.

A friend at work brought in some bits he had for his DD1 (a winter baby) and hasn't been able to use for DD2 (now 3 months) this morning. There are 2 lovely little warm jackets and a gorgeous sheepskin sleeping bag type thing they used when she was in her pram. It so soft and cute.

juleswastink · 29/05/2009 11:25

morning

kay - about phone call

diege - come on girl havent u packed

sunny and cloudy here

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 29/05/2009 11:41

I ordered 2 bf tops over Internet earlier in the week and they arrived this morning. They've sent me a generic discount code for all orders in May and June. If anyone's interested, the site is BellaMama.co.uk and to get £5 off, the code is Summer5

bumpsnowjustplump · 29/05/2009 11:47

ses what day is our local mimi meet?

Kayzr · 29/05/2009 11:48

ARGHHH!!! That f**king dog next door is driving me insane!!! It just wont shut up so I have had to shut the doors and windows as it is just doing my head in!!

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 29/05/2009 12:07

BNJP, Gruff, GYo - how about either Thurs 11th or Fri 12th June?

Kay - ome of my dogs is being noisy at the moment too but she's fast asleep and snoring!

Kayzr · 29/05/2009 12:09

I don't mind occasional barking but it has been non stop since half 7 this morning.

DS1 has just fallen asleep on DH on the sofa. It's so cute.

bumpsnowjustplump · 29/05/2009 12:21

i can do either those days so will wait for gyo and gruff

sorky · 29/05/2009 14:02

Wow! Texted you LB
What a lovely surprise, thank you sooooo much Owen. That baby has fabulous taste in flowers

Cosmogirl · 29/05/2009 15:12

Hi ladies,

Sorky - I am indeed lurking Thank you for you input on the thread - I got some really good responses on there. Not being a very good wagoner of late.....Am keeping my eyes peeled for central/national or London-based meet up though as will defo be up for that if you'll still have me.....!

Hope everyone is having good days and enjoying the glorious sunshine.

GYo - at your home treatments...what I wouldn't give for some good old pampering right about now...

Diege - so close now! Top of the list I see!

As I'm a FB shunner - latest pics of DD here web.me.com/philnewts/April_Newton/April_7_8_weeks_old.html

Cosmogirl · 29/05/2009 15:16

Whoops, messed up the url:

Third time lucky? I'll have to ask DH when he gets home from work if this fails...

juleswastink · 29/05/2009 17:26

hi

have been watching t.v etc dd1 had played outside for abit.

2nd lot of ebay pics for brackens room went to the wrong address. she is sending out some more. will hopefully get them this time

have dhs parents down tom after lunch.
right have bathed dd1 and given tea now off to bath bracken and feed

Diege · 29/05/2009 17:28

Ooh lovely piccies COSMO! You all look very accomplished and April is so sweet
Absolutely cream crackered here; dd2's friend has gone home, and all went well, but is a lot more tiring looking after someoine else's child than you own (the constant asking if they're ok/want a drink while aware they need entertaining! Dh not back until 10 tonight, but have told him that this is the last night of his freedom - from next week he is on stand-by duty so needs to watch his alocohol etc!!
Just counting down the hours now until dds' bedtime - may get them in 40 minutes earlier or so

bumpsnowjustplump · 29/05/2009 19:17

Sorky those are for ds2 not you...
