Kayz I feel your shame from here

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 26/05/2009 21:27

Bill Bailey
Simon Cowell
Piers Morgan

You're all v sick!

Wimbledon will be here in a few weeks and Diege will be sharing her Nadal fantasies again...

Starshinetiger · 26/05/2009 21:54

Ses - you've just totally freaked me out - can't believe it's already nearly a year since we were last listening to Diege's Nadal fantasies and I got my BFP the following week. Is so strange to have been chatting to you lot for nearly a year (and to some for longer than a year, yet not to have met) - we need to get the southern meet-up organised!

Am laughing at all your fantasies, mine are just plain boring - Nigel Harman, Patrick Dempsey (McDreamy), Rupert Penry-Jones - would quite happily be stranded on a desert island with any of them (if only they would say the same about me... )

Thought I would just share with you favourite quotes of the weekend:
DH's fave: "Throbbing Hornache" (said by Triceratops on Harry and the Dinosaurs, I might add!)
My fave: "Aren't they a Powerfruit?" said by DH when I told him I'd bought blueberries (he meant Superfood - tee hee )

Kayzr · 27/05/2009 06:48

Morning!!

Noooooo not Nadal again!!! Federer is much much nicer!!! I must agree with Rupert Penry-Jones. He is lovely!!

I have been watching the Giro d'italia the past couple of weeks. They all have such lovely thighs, it is a good way to waste 2 hours!!!

Hope you are all ok this morning!!

Diege · 27/05/2009 08:40

Morning! LOL at fantasies - yes, nearly Wimbledon time! You will all be sick of me swooning over Nadal!
Rain here, and forcast for the day too. I really hope the weather's not going to be a repeat of last year! Hope everyone is well and got some sleep! My hands are really sore this morning, stiff and tingly. They've been like this for about 4 weeks, but a lot worse today. Maybe related to pregnancy swelling? Anyone else have this?

Kayzr · 27/05/2009 08:58

I have decided to give myself £5 for every lb I lose so that I have a nice amount of money to buy a new wardrobe with!!

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 27/05/2009 09:04

Star - amazing where the time goes! You made me realize I've been on MN a year now!

Diege - I did get stiffness in my hands as they got puffier. I guess you can mention it to MW tomorrow.

Kay - as an Arsenal fan do you want Man U or Barca to win tonight? I'm a bit torn as I want to support the British team but I have a soft spot for Barca as I've been on a tour of their v impressive stadium...

Moos - am I right in thinking it's your scan today? Good luck - v exciting

Kayzr · 27/05/2009 09:06

Barca!!!! All the way!! I can not wait!!! It is all because Man U beat us!! But my brother is the worlds biggest Chelsea fan. He is not going to watch it tonight.

sorky · 27/05/2009 09:15

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome Diege.
Due to swelling/ water retention. Nothing to worry about unless it starts to affect your grasp, then you might need a splint to hold your wrist in better position, which releases the pressure.

Quick test; bend your hand forward trying to get your fingertips to touch the inside of your wrist, hold for about 20 seconds, if it's CTS you should get the tingling.

sorky · 27/05/2009 09:18

....should add it's more common during the Summer for pg women and also during the last trimester.

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 27/05/2009 09:34

Diege - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!

Have you got anything special planned?

Just for you.....

here

and

here

Diege · 27/05/2009 09:34

Gosh thanks SORKY for diagnosis! Did get a slight pins and needles sensation in padded part of thumb on palm when bending hands forward, so may well be. TBH, don't think all the marking I've been doing (online) has been helping as my wrists are incredibly sore after marking a few papers. Anyway, only a few more weeks of it whatever it is!
KAYZ, that's a good motivating idea re: weight loss, although you seem to be doing pretty well anyway!
SES, has it just been a year since the wagon started its journey? Feels longer to me!

Diege · 27/05/2009 09:36

SES, you're spoiling me

Kayzr · 27/05/2009 09:38

Happy Birthday!!!

The wagon started last January Diege. Seems like it's been going a lot lot longer though!!

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 27/05/2009 09:40

And for the rest of us for comparison...

here

I think I'm with Kay on this one...

DS and I are home alone for the morning
He's fast asleep in the Babasling at the moment

Kayzr · 27/05/2009 09:41

That is very nice Ses!!!

Diege · 27/05/2009 09:43

Oh come on ladies, Federer looks like the prince of darkness in that one!
