FiKelly · 20/05/2009 14:35

belgiandaisy wouldn't it be spooky (but fab) if your dreams came true?!

Momino · 20/05/2009 15:46

hmmm. have we seen grumpy today? wonder if anything's happening.

Blottedcopybook · 20/05/2009 16:00

Any news from Frazz yet? x

SpangleMaker · 20/05/2009 16:27

Oooh frazz good luck - I see sod's law kicked in!

Yes hope grumpy is ok

minimenace · 20/05/2009 16:50

omg FRAZZ Can't believe I have only just seen your news - good luck so you are going to beat me ... lol

Just wanted to ask - Does anyone have contact with Aquababe ? she hasn't posted for a while and I'm really wanting to get in contact with her. I have left a message for her on the VBAC support thread.

Belgianchocolates · 20/05/2009 16:55

I was wondering about grumpy too.

Wonder how razzis getting on. Lets hope she's already holding her little one

FiKelly · 20/05/2009 17:13

just had a great nap this afternoon with ds.. nearly 2hrs.. might regret it though when we're trying to get ds back to sleep again later. he was awake at 5.15am this morning so hoping this afternoon won't make too much difference!

grumpy has been quiet today wondering how frazzle is doing too..

Go frazz GO!!
I'm baking here. Tis about 35 degrees c in madrid. What happened to my cunning plan not to be pregnant in the summer heat?!? DS keeps inviting me to splish splash on my tummy in the paddling pool, but the neighbours might never recover from that sight..

emmabemmasmom · 20/05/2009 17:57

Well that is annoying! I posted a huge post and well, it is gone...grrr

So hard to keep up with everyone now that Sara is here! Congrats to anyone who has had thier baby and good luck frazz hope to hear some news soon!

Also, hope that everyone who is still waiting is doing well. It is not easy I know, but before you know it your LO's will be here

Re: piles...oh yes i have them too. I had them with DD1 and they were bad but they did go away. I have them again and it is not fun. I didn't have stitches or anything but now I have these to contend with and it is just as bad I think...oh well, should go away soon!

Sara is doing great with BFing but I am doing it all day it seems. I am producing enough to feed an army though! Hope they go down a bit soon...

How is everyone else finding it with their other LO's? We're trying to settle in but it has not been easy. DD1 has been very emotional and is finding the change hard.

Anyyyway I should go as I hear the stirings of a little baby...better get my boobie out lol

CoteDAzur · 20/05/2009 18:19

DS was born at 9:15 this morning by elCS. Very positive experience. Some pain but even after several hours without IV painkillers, totally manageable. MUCH easier than DD's 'normal' birth with huge episiotomy.

Good luck to frazzle and anyone else I may have missed as I'm on phone.

Reggiee · 20/05/2009 18:34

COTE CONGRATS!!!!

And go Frazz!

Tummum · 20/05/2009 19:30

Huge congrats Cote soooo glad it was a positive experience, How heavy did he end up being? Hope you have a good first night together

Belgianchocolates · 20/05/2009 19:33

Congrats cote. I'm happy to hear that your el c/s was a positive experience. Also wondering how big your ds was. Have you got a name yet?

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 20/05/2009 19:56

Don't get exited girls, I'm just sulking 'cos I'm still pregnant.

Had a major emotional meltdown yesterday that culminated in me sitting on DD2's bedroom floor, sobbing. I then couldn't get up at all (I was really stuck) and had to be hoisted off floor by DH. I think he then realised that I was a little bit worn out and maybe not up to cooking tea. I think he also realised that I'm having a bit of a shit time at the mo. Bless him.

I didn't post yesterday, as I was far too 'me me me' and missed saying Good Luck to Cote and woo-hoo go girl to Frazz. I hope Frazz is ok.

But thank you for thinking of me, I've cheered up slightly now. I just thought that after 2 overdue babies I might have one on or before due date but it looks like another overdue one

And congratulations to Cote - hope to hear more details of your DS soon!

Blotted do you have a blow-up doughnut cushion? I suffered horrendously after DD2 (who was born scarily quickly after an induction).

Off to de-louse my children - another nit outbreak

Blottedcopybook · 20/05/2009 20:15

Congrats Cote! Grumpy - I have literally just posted on the post-natal thread about my mood tonight. DS1 is severely trying my patience and on top of that I'm getting really panicked by the fact that we're more than halfway through the first of DH's two weeks paternity leave. I am exhausted and resenting the hell out of my piles - I would be absolutely fine if my arse didn't feel like it had grown a head

I think I need some gin.

FiKelly · 20/05/2009 20:20

cote great news and HUGE congratulations. The more positive cs's i'm hearing the more relaxed about friday i'm getting so thanks for confirming you're feeling more than ok in comparison to last time vb. Can't wait to find out rest of your ds news. Take it easy and as much help as you need

grumpy Sorry you had such a pants day yesterday... and dealing with another de-lousing session is just about the last thing you need i can imagine. Big non huggy mn hugs to you... it looks like we have very comfy insides... so much so our lo's like it in there too much! if it wasn't for me now having the cs on friday i too think i'd be in the july 09 ante-natal thread ;)

FiKelly · 20/05/2009 20:23

blotted are you using a cream for your piles? i know germaloids has 'that distinctive germaloids smell' but it has a numbing ingredient too which anusol doesn't. My last mw when i had them v badly with ds last time said it was better for protruding ones as the numbing took the edge off...

minimenace · 20/05/2009 20:36

Waters broke yay !! off to hosp now. DH is pacing telling me to hurry up. so sorry for short post.

BTW been sniffing neat clary sage oil on cotton wool all day

FiKelly · 20/05/2009 20:42

miniM YAY well done and all the best for a good labour etc. take care xoxox

pulapula · 20/05/2009 20:42

Probably too late but good luck minimenace and look forward to hearing your birth news!

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 20/05/2009 20:55

minim Yay! Here's to a quick labour

blotted honestly, I think the pain of my Nobby Stiles after DD2 was comparable to childbirth (I had internal and external piles oow). They're bloody awful and it took them a while to go completely. I found Germaloids the most soothing (but as fi said, they do have that distinctive bouquet). I'm sorry to hear DS1 is playing you up, have some gin (have one for me - pref Plymouth Gin with a spot of fresh lime and soda please). It's funny how we're so desperate to have these babies, knowing the aftermath is EXHAUSTING both physically and emotionally. I know that DD2 is going to be an arse when I have this baby - she's building up to it now

fi ta for the hug - I've become quite needy of late and have turned into quite a huggy person . Nits eeeeeewww I hate the little crawling bastards. I had just been smugging about how nit-free we were and bam kapow both schools have nit outbreaks. Gah and bah!!!!

And 6 people have said to me today 'ooh you shouldn't be out and about, you should be having that baby' or words to that effect. I managed to smile, whilst lasering them with my eyes.
