Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Diege · 20/05/2009 09:38

Oh I have Sorky, rough as a bear's ar*e...
MOOS, sorry to hear you've got a cold - back to bed for you if possible!
Kayz, clothes, arghh!!! Hardly anything fits me now, so will probably be in leggings with something that covers bump and bum over the top! Oh and hair in pony tail I think, to hide my roots

Kayzr · 20/05/2009 09:51

I've just registered the boys at school!! I can't believe I have to do it this early.

Diege · 20/05/2009 09:58

That's a great feeling KAYZ . Poor dd3 is 4 in Nov, so we have another year of nursery.. How old will ds be when he starts?
Right, doula here [gulp]. Why am I so nervous??

Kayzr · 20/05/2009 10:02

I'm not sure. My HV says he will start in September but I'm not sure about that as he will still be 2.

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 20/05/2009 10:25

HONK

I have news from MINM

glaskham · 20/05/2009 10:25

Kayz- if he's just going to standard nursery he'll start the term or september after he turns 3, IIRC that works out at easter next year at the earliest- if your nursery allows later term starts then carry over to next 12mths before starting school. DD1 will be starting in september as they had no room for her at the start of this term. DS would have had 5 terms at nursery before school!!

Moosy- hope bed helps!!

Nat- hope the 'getting it off your chest' yesterday has helped things seem a bit clearer for you.

Diege- i haven't washed last nigths pots yet they are all in the kitchen, but not even considered washing them yet!!

For saturday i still dont know what to wear, thought i may wear jeans, then thought about smart black pants, then thought about my maxi dress, then about my white 3/4 linen pants and just a vest top- think i'll have a few different outfits ready depending on the weather in the morning!! also have to consider what is more practical for BFing in public too so i'm not having to get all of myself out of a top or something to feed.

DD2 just got weighed.... she's put on 5.5oz in 5 days!! she's now 6lb12oz!! she'll be the smallest baby there on saturday wont she, and yet she's 3mths old today!!

glaskham · 20/05/2009 10:26

tell all ses- is she in labour? has she given birth?

SesHasFinallyBecomeAMum · 20/05/2009 10:33

I had a text from her about 10 mins ago...

sorkycakey · 20/05/2009 10:34

Up here Kayz the Nursery has 2 intakes, September and January.
If Ds1's birthday is before Dec31st then he'll be offered a place (if there is one) for the start of the January term.

My Ds2 has just been registered for Nursery last week. He won't go until not this September but next!

Take care of yourself Moos has the sickness eased ?

i'm so tired!! didn't get a good night with DD2 and her growth spurt last night, was up at least 6 times with her, and felt like i was still awake between feeds as was keeping having to settle her by letting her hold my finger, or giving her her muslin (that she uses as a comforter).... think i'm in need of a nap today!!

juleswastink · 20/05/2009 10:57

you seem very together nat and organised always here hun

y mitm - congrats on your gorgoeus boy

i am going to get my hair permed on sat

glaskham · 20/05/2009 10:58

Moosy · 20/05/2009 11:23

Aaah that's better, puke, snooze, shower. Feeling much better now

Congratulations MinM!

Now then Nat having had experience of a 'controller' I don't blame you for making the decision that you've made. IME when one person is much older than the other it becomes very easy to slip into the roles of adult/child rather than equals and can then be very difficult to get out of that frame of mind. Good on you for doing the hardest part and deciding that enough is enough and that you're not going to put up with it anymore. You sound very sensible and 'together', don't forget we're here if you need shoulders to lean drunkenly cry on . And how far south is south? There's loads of us down this way ready to help out if we can!

LB, I hope all is well with your eyes, I think glaucoma is pretty rare in people under 40, but it's good that they're taking it seriously as it is best when caught early. Good luck with the testing today.

Kayzr · 20/05/2009 12:34

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Had a bloody huge post!!! Then MN crashed.
