somewhathorrfied I did do hypnobirthing and it was fantastic - I really recommend it. We didn't have the home water birth that we planned and in fact things worked out the exact opposite but we used all the hypnobirthing techniques to stay calm and chilled out and I was pretty much pain free. I plan to use it again if everything progresses.

marmitemonster sounds like you need chocolate and a duvet day.

Marmitemonster - what a hideous couple of days, and I thought I had a rough time when I went back to work! Listening to you makes me think it was a piece of cake and I really shouldn't moan!

Sometimes I think that GP's need a crash course in how to deal with pregnant women, you would think that she would have been a bit more sensitive with you. Vent away, we'll be with you all the way!

Lottie - sorry you've been feeling rough. I always found ginger biscuits by the bed helped, one as soon as I woke up and another soon after seemed to make me feel better, enough to get up and get going anyway.

As for me, I seem to have no symptoms other than being shattered. I am now beginning to panic because this stage with DD I was really suffering. I'm going for an early scan next Friday - it can't come soon enough. I'm going to see the GP tomorrow, so I'm bracing myself for the "you really should have lost weight before having another baby" speech
