thanx for keeping the stats going its really helpful, and yes that is very impressive, im glad at least someones brain had survived being pregnant and hasn't all turned to mush like mine.
well hopefully we will be joining them all soon, well at least we know we will by next week even if they don't decide to come on their own.

Congratulations to all those with new babies.

I had Cerys on the 23rd but just haven't had chance to log on since (vistors are starting to thin out now). After a 16hr labour I ended up having an emergency c-section when they finally decided that I was to small to deliver my 8lb 11oz baby. All very painful and traumatic but well worth it.

Fingers crossed for the few of you still remaining.

Hello all, congrats on latest arrivals. So many of us still to go! Had my stretch and sweep yesterday (ouch), which has produced no results at all. Spent an hour at aquanatal trying to jiggle the thing out but am resigned to being induced next week! Ho hum.

Hope all is well with the other laties, and of course, all the new mums and babies!

Oh Noggermum - glad you are still here too - we had the same due date didn't we? I had sweep yesterday too which seems to have done very little but I am 2-3cm dilated apparently. here's hoping we can join the postnatal club soon and hold our little bundles Good luck!

yeah im still here too, sorry to hear your sweep hasn't done the trick for you. i think im just gonna resign to the fact that he's not gonna come before monday, and then if he does decide to come before then, it will be a nice surprise. when is your induction booked for? i surpose at least we know when we go in on the day that the next time we go home it will finally be with our little ones however they come out in the end. i think you'll probley go before then as your already dilating and you won't have to have the gel stuff they will prob just break your waters, which might mean you'll have a nice quick labour. i think its gonna take some dinamite to get my little one out.

Hi all, good luck to those of you who are still awaiting your arrivals...fingers crossed that your babies arrive soon.
Congratulations also to those of you who have recently had your baby..sorry I haven't named you but I haven't logged on her for a while although dh has been keeping me updated with all your news. Since Freya's arrival on 16/05 I haven't had a minute free.!! DH is sill off work so its been a great help and he really has been a rock for me over the last few weeks.
In fact I started typing this message at 11am today and it's now 6.30pm and I am only just posting it . I am amazed at how much Freya rules our life ! I know people try to prepare you before but I don't think you can believe it totally until you are in the role full time !
I also believe that sleep deprevation should be given to criminals ...........Torture !

Thank god for Mumsnet when you are up all alone at 2am! I think my waters may have broken but am not sure! I know that sounds really stupid coming from a second time mum but I was induced and epiduralled by the time the MW manually broke my waters last time so don't actually know what it feels like!

Anyway, this constant trickle can't be all wee can it? I haven't had a drink since about 8pm!

Am sitting here waiting to see if any contractions start, then begins the task of waking someone up in the dead of night to sit with DD. DH is, of course, fast asleep!

Hopefully some news soon, eh?

Hi noggermum, it doens't sound silly. I had my waters broken for me last time and I thought they had gone this time but wasn't sure either! I had a gush not a trickle though, so the midwife at the hospital thought it might have been a false alarm. She didn't make me feel silly at all. Apparently, it happens all the time. A constant trickle really sounds like the real thing though! Call a midwife and good luck.

Good luck noggermum. We're thinking of you! Hope it's happening today. It was exactly a week ago that I was in labour - feels like a lot longer! You can do it!!! and i look forward to hearing some news soooooooon!!

well im still here, just waiting for things to start, but still no signs that they are gonna. im just really bored now and ive had a bad migrane for like 4 days now and just really feel bad.

Nope nothing happening here either - had another sweep this morning. MW reckons only 1cm now despite obstetrician saying 2-3 on wednesday. Confused and FED UP now TBH. Booked for induction next wed and think it probably will come to that which is really going to pee me off cos that'll be the end of my waterbirth.
Anyway hope all went well noggermum and things hurry up for you too 18mumtobe. Take care all x

just wanna let you know that your not the only one who's fed up. but i think we have reason to be now, so its ok.

im booked in for monday, and i think ill end up there too.

well i hope you go before then, so you can have your water birth. i had thought about having one, but now that im gonna be induced theres no point even thinking about it.

you've had another sweep though so hopefully this might work for you. well ill keep my fingers crossed for u (and myself) take care

HELLO EVERYONE!

Well, it was my waters and not extreme bladder weakness.

I am pleased to report that Isla Rebecca was born yesterday (3rd june) at 11.07 am weighing in at a very titchy 8lbs 7 oz. I know that is not really titchy, but after a 9lb 4oz DD1, she certainly looks and feels titchy to me! All went very well and I can even go so far as to say that I really enjoyed the experience this time round, it wasn't that painful for that long and I came home last night feeling fit as a fiddle (a bit sorer today perhaps). Isla is lovely, although she swallowed lots of amniotic fluid containing meconium during labour and has been really unsettled since birth. She has now started sicking up black rivers of the stuff so hopefully things (and her stomach) will settle down soon.
