Hi all Mummy Fashill and baby George are now back at home after he came into the world yesterday at 11.08am weighing a healthy 7lb 5oz. He is beautiful and we are both well, although I'm feeling like I've done 10 rounds with Tyson!! I'll post all the details on the birth announcements when I get a chance as need to try to catch up on some sleep

congratulations fashill and welcome to little george. i hope your right coz i can't wait any longer.

i know what you mean dabihp, at this rate we will def end up with june babies. its not fair people that were due after me have had their babes already. when is your due date? are you having any signs that it won't be long now? im not, i haven't even had any bh's. is this your first baby? well i hope its not too long now for the rest of us and im trying everything i can to get this baby out now coz ive had enough.

I was dsue Friday (27th) second baby, but I didnt labor with last one - had elec csection, which i am booked in for on wed unless baby comes naturallY!

lost plug last saturday, and had contractions for 3 hrs, but since then not a lot, had 'period' type cramps for 2 days, but evne those have gone away!!

I know first babies are suppose to go over, so i am sur eu will go soon, no doubt before me!! good luck and keep us updated...

(P.s. aren't u sick of saying "I will let you know if anythign happnens" and " no, I havetn had the baby yet"....)

Oooh lots of new babies for the stats... unfortunately mine is not one of them and it seems she has no desire to arrive today on her due date so it looks like I'm joining the late club

Have been trying EVERYTHING to no avail -am terrified of having to be induced and losing out on the birth centre I have fought so long and hard for. Still - all that matters is a healthy baby I suppose ....soon would be great though! Am resigned to June baby now!

18mumtobe - I haven't had and BH's or anything either. Don't really feel any different than I have done for ages - except achy type period pains every now and again. Definitely nothing close to contraction type feelings. Its my 1st baby too. Hope something happens for you soon (and me!) HTH!!

Oh huge congratulations Myermay and Fashill. WElcome to the two little boys. Wonderful news!

We have just decided on Joseph Henry for our rather large bundle, and he'll be known as Joe which is easy. Ds1 is with my mum staying at her house and iM really missing him but I dont think I could cope with him and the lack of sleep and trying to remember how to breast feed. Midwife came and helped me today and it seemed to be going a bit better this afternoon. Stitches becoming more painful as they tighten and still feel fairly immoblile. Id forgotten about the drawing down/periody pains that you get afterwards.

Have got to go and feed him now. I think he's going to turn into quite a guzzler. He certainly seems to have iron jaws when hes not on properly. Hope all you others are doing well. Dont you just keep looking at them in disbelief and pride that you managed to make that and get it out!!!

Thanks tab! Looks like all has gone quiet on the May thread- there must be some of us late club left!! My little one is stubbornly staying put unfortunately. Had a shoe though so I suppose thats something - absolutely nothing else happening though. Think I'll probably have a sweep at antenatal clinic tomorrow...

I had a sweep this morning - wasn't too bad but wasn't expecting the blood though - gave me a bit of a shock. Hopefully something will happen soon now as I'm booked for induction in a week and I REALLY don't want to have one (although maybe in a week's time i'll be so fed up i won't mind) Fingers crossed though and I'll get my nice waterbirth...just looks like Baby doesn't want to cooperate.

Think I should change my name now really too! Today would be a great birthday for her too because then she would be 01/06, Dp is 06/06 and my b'day is 16/06!! Not holding much hope though!

no still nothing happening here, saw mw this morning and all is still well. baby is just too happy in there i think.
i said no to a sweep as im abit of a wimp when it comes to stuff like that, even though i should really get over it coz come monday they are gonna be inducing me anyway.
so im really hoping baby will decide to come before then, coz i don't wanna be induced but like you said i think by then ill be so desperate i won't care. but im not holding out much hope as still haven't had any signs not even a show or any bh's.
are you feeling any more that something might happen for you soon?
well there ain't many of us left now, so one of has to be soon. sending everyone positive thoughts and hope it happens for us soon.

And because I'm really bored I just worked out of 27 may mums-to-be we now have 18 babies born, 9 still waiting (or still waiting for news), 10 girls, 8 boys and an average weight of 8lb 3oz!! Impressed??

18mumtobe - not really feeling anything more just a bit achy. The sweep really wasn't that bad - but then I'm not really the best one to say because of my medical history an illness I had left me quite numb on one side so I don't feel anything much anyway.
