Thanks for updating the list fi Hope we'll get news from Jael and Reggie soon.

I'm off to bed now. I'm totally knackered after today's shopping trip and cooking for 7 thing [big yawn emoticon].

FiKelly · 23/04/2009 22:17

duh just realised I've left looby on the main list and with tomorrow's date she couldn't be pregnant anymore! will have to amend when I'm next on laptop..

llareggub · 23/04/2009 22:34

Well.

I've been ironing since 5pm, I've been for a walk around the block and nothing is happening. I don't think there is any excitement here tonight! On the bright side, I have ironed massive amounts of clothes and the backlog is cleared.

HiP I applied for it when I was about 27 weeks, so 10 weeks ago.

I think I'm going to spend some time putting numbers on my phone tomorrow so I can send a text with an update. DH has now given me my phone number (I never knew it!) so I can post it on fb.

Night all!

Jennster · 24/04/2009 04:45

Anybody up? NO I'm not in labour, just can't sleep. Went to some training evening last night and bloody hell it was boring. It was meant to be a relaunch of a minor ailment scheme where you can get free/reduced priced OTC/P meds over the counter, but they ended up saying at the end of 2 hours of boring irrelevant info about the PCT, Bowel Cancer screening (nothing to do with us) and ETP (nothing we can do to make Drs write their scripts electronically, and we never get any so why get a doctor to try to boy us on to encourage it?) they said oh and by the way you can now give out more stuff on the scheme. No training. Last PCT I worked in did a 3 hour session devoted to it, including all dispensers and counter staff.

Rant over sorry about the poor grammar.

Sophietom You're very welcome. Glad it seems to have helped. Nice to have met you by the way. Everybody seemed very jaded though don't you think?

Tummum · 24/04/2009 04:53

Hi Jenn I'm up !
Nothing really happening - lots of crampy pain and a snore-y husband = can't sleep

Tummum · 24/04/2009 05:11

OOhh.... either my pevic floor has gone to complete cr*p (emminently possible) or I am leaking....

Jennster · 24/04/2009 05:16

Ooooooooooh I heard it first. How are you Tummum?

Jennster · 24/04/2009 05:18

My snorey husband is up because I woke him at 3.30 when I went to the loo. We tried and failed to have sex because I had an image in my head that i won't go into. He got lucky anyway.

Tummum · 24/04/2009 05:19

Good thanks. Loads of tightenings and just can't sleep but I think that's because of DH snoring. How come you are awake?? Will you be able to nap tomorrow?

Tummum · 24/04/2009 05:20

Lucky DH !!

Tummum · 24/04/2009 05:21

I'm going to go back to bed to see if I can get some ZZzzs before DC wake up....

Jennster · 24/04/2009 05:26

Me too. No chance of sleep. Getting central heating replaced. They should be finished tomorrow, but my god they don't half bicker. Cleaner coming too. Put her off from Wednesday because CH chaps said they'd be done by lunch time but I doubt it.

Jennster · 24/04/2009 05:26

Sorry that's finished today.

Jennster · 24/04/2009 05:27

Good luck with the sleep. Keep us posted.

FiKelly · 24/04/2009 07:52

just waiting on workmen coming.. usually about 8am. next flooring quote guy coming at 9am. need to give dog his various tablets but I know they'll make his deposit wee and poo on the floor so having breakfast 1st. dog will be spending a good amount of time in the kitchen again.. my only wipeable floor at the moment. woke up with the ipod in bed this morning but at least I didn't get tangled in the head phones lead! must get to bed v early tonight as I'm starting the day as tired as I was last night.. oh well. hopefully the sun will come out and can take ds to the park for the pm.

Febes · 24/04/2009 08:39

Morning!! I had a night of jumping up with cramps in my legs. Very annoying. Its been really bad this week. Most eat more banana bread!!

DD just climbed in her toy box and then got stuck and cried and screamed to get out. It could be a long day...

Blottedcopybook · 24/04/2009 08:43

Oooh how exciting TumMum!

I was woken at 6 this morning by the dulcet tones of my sweet daughter screaming at her brother. They haven't stopped bickering since so I reckon I'm in for a long day. Luckily DH is off again today so I can stay in bed and try to relax a little bit.

Going to try and book myself a Bravissimo fitting for Monday too, I'll be 35 and a half weeks pregnant so that should be good timing.

What are you lot up to this weekend?

FiKelly · 24/04/2009 08:47

ds also awake at 6am.. but dh heads off to work just before then. so far ds is in good spirits

this weekend I have to tackle the washing mountain that has appeared as we've been so busy sorting out builders and dog etc..

Febes · 24/04/2009 08:49

DH is working all day on Saturday and I have my neighbours hens night to go to on saturday night and need to find a babysitter now as DH had work. We are going in limo into London for a murder mystery evening. Should be a laugh .

Tonight I have 4 friends coming for dinner so I need to go and hit the shops to buy some yummy food. I think I'll be knackered by Sunday.

Tummum sounds very exciting. Its all going on here at the moment. I think we might have at least 2 new babies by the end of the weekend.

FiKelly · 24/04/2009 08:53

on sunday I'm seeing my my at 9.30am at local ante natal ward because she has lots of people to see on the mon at doctors when I'd normally see her. the sunday is also our wedding anniversary so we're all going out for a lovely lunch..

emmabemmasmom · 24/04/2009 08:56

Morning all!

TumMum Any news???? Hope to hear something soon! hehehe

I am so so so tired! I don't know why. I seem to be sleeping ok, but waking up exhausted! I have to fall asleep propped up these days cause of heartburn lol Oh well...

DD seems to be in a better mood today thank god. She is getting really emotional (maybe taking cues from me? lol) so the days have been looong and hard.

No plans for the weekend. DH is doing overtime tomorrow AND sunday...grrr. He will be off Monday though but still...I would rather have him home than have the extra money. Try telling him that and he gets his 'man must provide' face.

Had a dream last night. I don't want this baby born until after the 12th as that is when FIL is back from his holiday. However, I dreamt I had the baby on the 11th...so DD's bday is Nov. 5th (05/11) and this one would be May 11th (11/05). How funny would that be? lol Wonder if it will come true??

Off to do oh so exciting house work. Oh I wish I would get a kick up the backside. I love when the house is all clean, I just hate being the one to do it lol

flippineck · 24/04/2009 08:57

febes - about the cramp, but yay, good excuse to eat banana bread. And it's one of your five a day, right?

tummum - sounds interesting, looking forward to hearing more news!

There's of interesting potential labour type stuff happneing out there, isn't there? Nothing going on in this house though.

Normally we get woken by DD before 6, but for some reason today she slept until 6:30. A lie in - bliss.

No plans for the weekend really, but I've got DH home all weekend so hopefully I'll get to stay in bed for a large part of it.

Tummum · 24/04/2009 09:01

False alarm need to do some more squeezing. Massive argument with f*king DH this am so feeling so going to bed. Sorry for false alarm. Think it's just wishful thinking.

FiKelly · 24/04/2009 09:23

never mind about the false alarm.. I'm sure there'll be plenty more of us the same.. about your argument & very of a nice snuggle in the duvet with the bed to yourself.

rosielady · 24/04/2009 09:33

looby many congratulations! great news.
I hope Reggie and Jael are okay.

Re Chickenpox - I haven't had chickenpox so it is a little bit of a niggling worry about picking it up in the last couple of weeks - but got to just to be positive about these things!

Tumm DH and I had a big argument last night over nothing as well - he was grumbling about the little things getting to him - of the state of the house - which i took as a slight that i wasnt pulling my weight. so a bit of ranting on both sides -then we got it out of our systems said sorry, and then had a nice glass of wine. I think it's just general anxiety building up about the imminent arrival!
