Fi - v impressed with phone skills - i can't type on mine for love nor money. Also impressed with your e bay patience at listing - i seem to spend much more time at the buying end!!

Just bought a load of baskets for my new wardrobe and some material to make basket liners off e bay. Yet to make bathroom blind tho too...

And desperately trying to avoid the white company at the mo as NEED lovely new linen for my nesting....and there is a discount at moment.....

detsy · 20/04/2009 22:46

No swallowing Fi just the erm build up...

detsy · 20/04/2009 22:50

Dandy now you see, your Hector comment, where did that come from - I can't find any mention of ectors in prev threads. I seem to have this problem all the time - maybe I just can't see the screen properly or something.....

Oh and no probs about knickers

FiKelly · 20/04/2009 22:50

can't even cope with thought of the build up.. have bad gagging reflex!

frazzledoldbag · 20/04/2009 22:51

detsy Archie or Munro was was we were going for if DD2 had been a boy. Still like Archie but DH gone off it for some reason.....???
I still love Felix but am still unsure about the step-nephew thing - don't want to cause any trouble in the family. They're highly strung and mad as it is!!! We both like Hector (with Tor for short), also I like Hercules (DH thinks I'm mental), Felix, Rupert (again, mental), William (Will) and Dougray are still in the running. I actually feel quite sad that it's such a struggle to find a name I absolutely love. Maybe I'll 'just know' when he's born......Dh is still coming out with awful suggestions (Raymond? Caird? er, nope).

Re: hypnobirthing cd I usually wake up with my ipod under my pillow and the earphones in the bed somewhere in the morning! I'm going to try and get the postnatal recovery one off ebay I think as I reckon that might be nice to listen to (and calming) when I'm struggling breastfeeding.
Anyway, DH gone to bed in a huff now cos I'm on the laptop again so better go.
Nighty night. BTW I like the knicker checking suggestion for the next thread title.
x

FiKelly · 20/04/2009 22:53

I love hector.. great name.

only prob with phone is the predictive text sometimes goes nuts and it's so much slower to reply.. by the time I hit post.. there's 2 or 3 more posts to read!

dandy duh, no recollection of that but all I can say is I LIKE YOUR STYLE, you obviously have excellent taste in names
No swallowing here either (bleuuurgh) - spitting yes, possibly (as I said, when drunk only) but a big no to swallowing (even though it's meant to be good for inducing labour - apparently - although maybe that rumour was started by a bloke)?
Right, am going now. Bye ladies, sleep well. x

detsy · 20/04/2009 22:57

Nite hun - sleep tight x

The ear phones hurt my ears so can't sleep without removal of them. Like Hector and really like Tor. Hercules, Hercules and Raymond there's a goer!!! I think boys names are a bit like boys clothes - doesn't seem to be as much nice choice as there is for girls for some weirdo reason. He was going to be Maisie but son't think he would appreciate that now..

fi done the wardrobe research yet?

FiKelly · 20/04/2009 22:58

must go for my milk then to bed.. need to do hypnotherapy as not done it for a few days.. been too tired

frazzledoldbag · 20/04/2009 22:59

Dandy so not Hercules then?!!!!
I couldn't actually use it, but I do like it. I don't quite move in the right circles to get away with that one!
Oh and I also like Hugo and Hugh - but again, family names so a bit tricky.
Right, so - am off to bed now. Any minute now......

detsy · 20/04/2009 23:00

Dandy your legal training came into play with that explanation I woz only askin guvnor

frazzledoldbag · 20/04/2009 23:02

detsy I like Maisie a lot. Mine would have been Annabel. There are loads of gorgeous girls names that now I'll never use (boo). Can't see me doing all this again - surely 3 is enough!

yes.. checked out the fitted ones but in the end I think we'll go for free standing ones. gives us bit more flexibility to change room layout in the future when ds gets older. so doing another ikea run this sat.. must be mad!

detsy · 20/04/2009 23:06

Me too - sciatica and baby gymnastics just kicked off, and sinuses hurt grrreaaattt looks like i have the dreaded household man flu.

So dadny what do you do now - I kind of assumed you were a nlp/physchologist/consellor type person as you always give sound unbiased advice, taking all views into consideration - whereas I'm much more gungho

Oh BTW wish me luck girls - mega waxing session tomo

frazzledoldbag · 20/04/2009 23:07

DD2 crying better go. Night x

FiKelly · 20/04/2009 23:07

Jael · 21/04/2009 00:55

Evening ladys

sorry i havent kept you all upto date with jaels progress, long and stressful few days between, visiting, work, and childcare issues.
She is still in ward 58, bored, restless and irritated! The mri went as planned on sunday, some silly twerp of a junior reg told her this morning that results should be today when there was no hope at all. wouldnt be so bad but this was 7am & he mentioned bout going home....
as you may have guessed no results & no coming home...
Still at least she is being looked after and there is someone there if she has another turn like she did after visiting this evening.
At the moment the cs is still planned for thursday nxt week (30th April), at least that will be in the spangly new hospital that all of the staff are crowing over. Seems a bit like they are short while peeps get hols in b4 the grand opening this weeekend! maybe its just me lol.

well im off to bed, alone . Hope your all well and things are moving along nicely.

mr J xx

Momino · 21/04/2009 07:00

MrJ, thanks so much for the update. it's great you can do this even though you're so busy and have lots on your mind. hope all going well and Jael gets good news and time to go home today. xx toJael and you all.

FiKelly · 21/04/2009 07:43

mr j thanks for letting us know how jael is doing. give her big hugs and let her know she's never far from our thoughts..

Momino · 21/04/2009 07:56

detsy, glad you found company for a chat last night .

oh, I really like Hector, very nice name.

we've stopped looking at names and will decide when baby arrives so when announcement comes, will most likely be unnamed for a couple of days. just got a bit confused and nothing stood out to us so prob easier to wait to see what baby looks like.

I was about to come on here lamenting about not having any signs (ie d/charge) but... had a (sorry, gleefully TMI) very gloopy mass this morning. it's what I was saying earlier the type of thing i saw 4ish days before dd2. i'm hoping this means imminent labour within the week but am so reluctant to say so. guess we never know when baby actually decides to appear.

hope all are well today.
