Thanks to Nutty for all the thread suggestions including this one. I hope no one minds but I picked this one in honour of the brilliant race commentary we had from Nuts and Frekkles the other night. Hopefully we will get some more.

Puzzle, at least you're pregnant as she says that - it'll be less endearing when you're not

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 17/03/2009 20:31

Puzzle - awwww so sweet lol at fatty fatty belly, i was told to stop eating by dd as i was getting huge and she was worried about me exploding?!?

SpringySunshine · 17/03/2009 20:31

Haha, I think I might. Or write 'and...?' expectantly on the calendar

LuLuBai · 17/03/2009 20:33

My toaster won't be entering any competitions. It toasts 2 pieces and is a pleasing enough chrome, but nowt fancy.

What I am looking for is a kettle that goes on the cooker. DH is in a very retro mood at the moment and hankers after a kettle that whistles in an old fashioned way when it boils.

Juwesm · 17/03/2009 20:34

My toaster is the Coco Chanel of toasters, she is sleek and elegant, but she also has four slots. She is old-school, with large, reassuring controls. She does not believe in accoutrements such as warming racks. She absolutely does not have any blue LEDs.

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 17/03/2009 20:34

lol springy or a massive post it on that day saying "i'm expecting prezzies lack of prezzies will result in no nookie till george is 21 "

Juwesm · 17/03/2009 20:35

Ooooh, I have Le Creuset hob-top kettle. She is powder blue and whistles!

mathsmummy27 · 17/03/2009 20:35

PuzzleRocks · 17/03/2009 20:36

Juwesm · 17/03/2009 20:36

Go on Springy, one little peek won't hurt....you can stop whenever you want to!

Juwesm · 17/03/2009 20:37

DH is good with ice, MM, or Digestives are good with ice???

Schulte · 17/03/2009 20:37

Grrrrrrrr just wrote a big post and it disappeared into cyber space when I tried to post it. Grrrrrrrr, grrrrrrr and grrrrrrrrr. Off to have dinner now.

Juwesm · 17/03/2009 20:38

I am strangely not drawn to nappy cakes, Nutty. I don't know what it is....

SpringySunshine · 17/03/2009 20:38

now I'm going to look. I can't help it. I'm weak!

& I'm so tempted by the post-it. Might be a bit cheeky, though. I might just not say anything & then sulk all day on Sunday until he asks what's wrong & then just start shouting about being unloved

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 17/03/2009 20:39

hmmm nappy cakes????? i dont either

PuzzleRocks · 17/03/2009 20:40

Smutty - PMSL at your DD's concern.

Ju - Your kettle sounds gorgeous. I didn't even know Le Creuset made one.

mathsmummy27 · 17/03/2009 20:40

EVERYTHING is good with ice. I actually can't stop. I had to crunch it during work today, which, as I'm a teacher, was quite something...

MM: "crunchy quark crunch conjecture crunch, what do you think crunch munch crunchy?"
pupil: "er...(thinking wtf??!!)"

SmuttyNuttyTaff · 17/03/2009 20:40

Springy - that works too, but expect to only recieve hastiy bought flowers form the nearest petrol station and a bar of dairy milk

Juwesm · 17/03/2009 20:41
