Ahh didnt realise it was the new thread title... v clever!

Yes due tomorrow I cant believe that I've been preg for 40wks! Very excited about having a baby now, whenever it happens.

Im wondering where star is now.

I've had more show (if it is that - yellowy jelly but no blood) and Im still getting aches during the night but not during the day...

Am hoping Im in silent labour and will pop to the loo one night and baby Gyo will slip out... OH, I can dream!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 16/03/2009 17:34

Here is my syndicate copied over... lots of people falling off I think Cosmo and Astate might end up being closest!

Diege · 16/03/2009 17:36

Loving it ASARTE! Ooh GYO where has the 40 weeks gone . Can you believe that this time next week you won't be pregnant anymore and instead have a gorgeous baby?

Diege · 16/03/2009 17:37

Right, I have a day left - hot curries and lots of oral action tonight please GYO

Diege · 16/03/2009 17:37

Sorry, that sounded a bit filthy

Astarte · 16/03/2009 17:41

ROFL Diege!!

OP posts:
GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 16/03/2009 17:41

PMSL Diege. will advise my DH that you've said we have to have oral action or possible something a bit more local in it effects (if I can face it, especially after a hot curry!)

You are optimistic saying I will have baby this time next week!

How is your heartburn now Diege? Did you get industrial quantities of Gaviscon?

Diege · 16/03/2009 17:44

Better now thanks Gaviscon does the trick, though am having fish and chips tonight so will be back with a vengeance later. And dh's birthday cake for afters which is tons better than what GYO will be having...
Right, on that note must dash as dh coming up road with dds. Speak later/tomorrow

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 16/03/2009 17:47

ROFL

I was most upset to find that the "oral prostaglandins" consumed last week (which clearly didnt work!) actually gave me more acid indigestion... I couldnt believe it!

Sorry for anyone eating tea!

Astarte · 16/03/2009 17:48

We're fishnchippin' it too, with peas and sweetcorn, yum!

I do hope Star got her pool probs sorted.

Gyo you'll def have your baby by this time next week, I'm certain of it You'll be a mummy!!

Gruff are you still leaking? Bowel clearance is a very good sign btw, you could even go tonight!!

Astarte · 16/03/2009 17:50

OP posts:
SesIsCountingdowntheweeks · 16/03/2009 17:52

Ooh! Just back from work and this is all v exciting!! New wagon babies v close

Gruff - that does sound horrendous so hope you're managing to relax as best you can now and that your DH is spoiling you.

Astarte - loving the thread title!!

GYo - can't believe there are only 2 of you left from your NCT group now!!

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 16/03/2009 17:58

Hi Ses!

I love the confidence from the experience Wagon mums here... I really hope Im no longer pregnant this time next week too.... I will go with your experienced judgement!

Though I do think our Gruffalo might slip up the wings... I have to say, when i say the gruffette bump on Friday it didnt look like it was going to stay put another whole month (easy to say now I know!)

SesIsCountingdowntheweeks · 16/03/2009 18:17

Hi GYo

I typed a nice long post and then it disappeared and so did MN!! Catastrophe!!!

I think I should go and find some soap as well as my mind went exactly where yours did after Diege's comment...

I agree with you about Gruffette - don't think she's staying put for 4 weeks!
Also think you'll still beat her to it though!

GruffaloSoldier · 16/03/2009 18:22

LOL Gyo!

im feeling really ill and exhausted which is stressing me out dont want to do anything but feel there is so much to do. we were supposed to be going to ikea tonight to get the last bit of wardrobe (was out of stock last time) but not sure im going to make it.

experience of today has really freaked me out and now im so scared

SesIsCountingdowntheweeks · 16/03/2009 18:24

Ooh Gruff! Don't care who sees this...

(((HUG)))

The wardrobe can wait if necessary. Take it easy and don't be too hard on yourself. Widh I could do something a bit more constructive...

GruffaloSoldier · 16/03/2009 18:33

thanks ses, dont worry hugs and sympathy are very constructive.

i think we are going to ikea, dh said he would go on his own but id rather go with him than be on my own.it shouldnt take too long and actually may take my mind of it all!

SesIsCountingdowntheweeks · 16/03/2009 18:40

That sounds like a good plan then. I can understand that you'd rather go and be with him than on your own at home.

I had an area team meeting this afternoon as usual. There's normally 4 of us - me, the Area Manager, the Operations Manager and the HR Admin Manager. The latter 2 were on holiday today though so it was just me and the Area Manager who I get on really well with. He spent most of the afternoon passing on his experience of having 3 children! He told me that I will get days when I feel a bit down and wonder why I ever wanted a baby and that was normal and to phone him and he'd listen and reassure me. How lovely of him!!

I have to say with 3 weeks left until ML, that's starting to sound a long time and I've quickly come round to the idea of ML. Bizarre that a few weeks ago I was getting upset about not going to work and someone else doing my job!! Pg hormones I guess!!

Astarte · 16/03/2009 19:11

I know it's going to be hard but try not to think about it too much Gruff, it could be tonight, it could be next week (unlikely tho' ), either way you'll need your strength, so carry on as normal is my little tuppenceworth

Go to Ikea with Dh, the walk around that place will likely stir things a bit

Come home, have a bath, sneaky half glass of wine and see where the evening takes you, Dh can build up the wardrobe (always good for them to have a job if going into labour I feel) and then you're ready to go.
Are you going to hospital or staying at home?

Will be thinking of you....

Ses I'll get my thinking cap on for your thread title

GruffaloSoldier · 16/03/2009 19:17

Thanks Astarte, we are off in a minute. Yes Im going into hospital. would have loved a home water birth but our flat is just too small and my sisters birth history put me off!maybe for next one though

I'll see you all later!thanks for all your lovely supportive mesaages

Cosmogirl · 16/03/2009 20:05

Hi, I found you Like the thread title....but have a sneaky feeling I won't be first. Nausea really bad this afternoon and think had some BH, so ended up going to bed from 4-7....The thought of 4 more weeks of this does terrify me - I don't know if I can stand it much longer....

GYoIsReallyHavingABaby · 16/03/2009 20:25

Sorry you are feeling so rubbish Cosmo. Reckon the time will go quickly... You are amazing for coping with the sickness for so long already... you can definately hang in there for another couple of weeks.

I personally find that when there is light at the end of the tunnel it all seems so much harder to cope with...

Hang in there. xx

Cosmogirl · 16/03/2009 20:26

Gruff - just caught up on your posts from the old thread...your poor thing that sounds awful. Hope you are ok now. As others have said, I am sure baby will be ok if she has to come a bit early.

Cosmogirl · 16/03/2009 20:28

Thanks GYo.....counting down the days until my DD is the main thing keeping me going at the moment. I don't think I can think about being overdue yet, even though there is a good chance it will happen.
